It fixes the lowvolume problem inherent with compressed MP3 files But why no album play              get this

Nice McIntosh look but it badly needs an EQ or tone adjustment knobs to trim the output My aboveaverage earphones sound flat using this app The meters action is a bit abrupt and needs more averaging for realism using a 4S           Has a nice look sounds blah

I dled the app with the expectation that maybe there would be sound enhancements Nothing here but a standard audio player with a blue meter     Nothing big here

Okay its another lazy weekend so I decided to download yet another music plying app This is by far the cleanest layout of its kind and it seems to provide greater separation of the vocals and instruments with slightly enhanced lows Then again it doesnt take much to improve upon the antiquated iTunes interface Highly recommend                 Super clean

I have tried many many music players and this is my favorite Simple easy to use and very neat looking                 Love it

I downloaded it and its probably the worst app ever Nothing works Cant play playlist no access to iradio not integratable with iTunes at all NOT ready for prime time Stick to making overpriced audio equipment     Wont work

App now works with iOS7 and also provides access to albums something not available with iOS6              Now works with iOS7 with new function

At least now I can play an album in order thank God But the lock screen and headphone transport controls still dont work Such a shame because the graphics are gorgeous Also please add a microphone feature so I can run these meters on my iPad with my home stereo That would be so cool        Still very buggy

I really want to like this app I love it when it works but it freezes and you have to reinstall the app or it stops in the middle of a song iPhone6        Keep Freezing or just stop playing

Nice idea but everytime I open the app it freezes while warming up     Starts Frozen

Latest update hangs on the warming up screen     No longer opens

App works well without any crashes for me but you cant pause rev or forward from the lock screen Also from the bottom slide up menu the functions do not work Fix those and I think you have a winner           Buggy

Pros The sound signature is incredibly soft and warm sounding and gives new life to my nuforce earbuds and apple ear pods Can wait to try it with my speakers and full size headphones Cons It drained my fully charged iPhone 5s down to 20 in a hour This is the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars              Great sounding minimalist app

I loved this app when I first got it used it instead of iphones music app exclusively Now that apple has updated the iOS it crashes randomly Also I would love to be able to control the app from the screen saver or even my steering wheel like spotify lets you Currently you have to open the phone and the app to change songs playlists etc           Needs updating

This is the only thing I am able to afford from this coveted company I plan to enjoy the app for years to come                 Love It

Player does not respond to headphone remote I use multiple brands of headphones From Beats to Skyllcandy Cant pause music using headphone controls Cant skip tracks or adjust volume either Have to unlock phone and go into the app Other players like Denon do not have this issue Please fix              Good player but

Im glad to see that Mac is finally paying some attention to this app Much improved but no way to access an index of songs or artists You have to scroll through your entire library to get to a last name with Z A better system of accessing material is needed        Still A Work In Progress

This is a simple player with a nice interface What I like most about it is that it looks great when you have your device docked next to your vintage equipment especially if you own those blue meter components from the 70s Thats really what its all about for me                 Looks good

This is a gorgeous interface that works well I dont know if it uses a better codec to decode music for higher fidelity and I havent done any critical listening tests in my recording studio but it sounds good My only real complaint is that the vu meters do not accurately represent the audio being played and that is annoying because I have a recording studio and I am used to seeing vu meters that work Also if youre a company that supposedly represents high fidelity it doesnt look good when your meters arent working right So it doesnt send the best message As such I just dont use it because Im too annoyed Please fix this           Nice but

When I shut down the app music keeps playing I dont mean exit program When I multitask and close app music keeps playing Just a quirk I guess because my other music apps stop playing music when I shut down app But love the look Planning to purchase my first tube mcintosh this year This app adds to the excitement of the purchase              Shutting down app

As others point out you cant play an album in album order Strange design there Also wish I could turn off the apps processing so I could AB what its actually doing But the sound it produces does seem to be better than the iPhones Music app           Sounds good really lacking in usability

iPad Version app doesnt have playlist It does but its rearranged in alphabetically unlike the IPhone version where its the order u made it in Fix the playlist to the custom order     Playlist

Yes it looks cool but cannot play from shared libraries so whats the point It will only play what you store on icloud just because they make great tube amps doe not mean they can write apps They hired some shmucks to create this as a advertising tool thus the link to their website So sick of that corp advertising tool deep up my iOS Wow one of the few apps I have ever encountered that causes a hard crash of iOS Even crumby Safari just has memory crashes This app actual causes my ipad to reboot Diagnostic shows caused by mcintosh site did respond in time Nice code crash an entire operating system because a website is slow or down This is the problem with all the adware spyware built into so many apps Epic fail     hard crashes ipad 3

The audio playback is stellar however it seems that this app is a work in progress because it is the most crashing app Ive ever encountered I hope this isnt representative of McIntosh products Makes me kind of weary           Great sound Crashing App

Nice app except for one really annoying feature it automatically includes every song youve ever purchased through itunes in your library even if the songs arent on your phone And theres no way to edit the library So when I go to look at my music library I have to wade through a long and cluttered list of music thats not even on my phone and that I havent listened to or wanted to listen to in years I cannot imagine why its set up like this ruins an otherwise very nice app        library lists every song youve ever purchased even if its not on your phone

Design and screen layout looks great But the most important thing is the classical vu meter in this app Cause this app is for classical mcintosh lovers Vumeter needle not work like a analog so fast and not sensitive Voice recorder apps vumeter works perfect Iphone native app     Vumeter needle not works like analog

The player is so beautiful its an absolute crying shame it shuts down about 34 of the way through each song on my 5s I hate it because it promises so much and delivers so little     beautiful classic look but

Was hoping this app would really offer some enhancement to music file playback but really seems about the same as the standard Apple iPad player Also the shuffle selection ONLY works within an album cant get it to shuffle within a playlist Otherwise nice looking app just expected a McIntosh app to be something special I know I knowit is free after all           Ok But Could Be Better
