update 7232015 app no longer works I LOVE creative photo apps MasterFX certainly fits right in with my favorites It includes masking so I can use only part of a photo such as a person lots of fun objects elements I purchased the master pack for 799 which was a bit expensive IMO but its fun having all the options MasterFX hasnt been out long it shows its young age by crashing now then Its also not intuitive when editing between the layers I couldnt find a tutorial or instructions I dont like how the layer I just edited always moves to be the top layer instead of staying in its current position Im hoping MasterFX gets updated to fix the crashing soon that new content is included in the master pack not another IAP If so Ill change my rating to 5 stars Update After purchasing the master pack I found it didnt include the extra backgrounds which wasnt clear when I purchased the pack EACH type of background is 99 for the pro versions Also after saving sessions restarting the app at a later time the saved sessions are either gone or dont include all the layers I had saved I have sent in three different support questions so far I havent received an answer to one question the two questions they responded to didnt help or answer my questions              Amazingly fun app

Way too expensive only to find in app purchases costing even more money Dont waste your money on this app I want a refund Ill never use this app     Total rip off

Purchased the full version 10 and it worked great for awhilethen it just crashed and I lost everything I had purchased Still cant use it without it crashing what a waste     Total CRAP

First of all this is a great app and its the best and you should get it Its one of the only apps out there that really uses layers the erase AND unerase draw and lets you save a session so you can make changes later It has a lot of possibilities That said here are some improvements Id love to see id like to be able to change the Background there should be more characters shown at different angles My pix of me and friends are normally looking more or less at the camera If the characters sort of had their back to the camera they could be inserted to look like theyre interacting w the pix of me and my friends a weapons category of stickers would be nice Also some cool crescent moons My version keeps crashing When that happens I almost always lose my saved session PLEASE PLEASE save the session on iphone not the interwebs so it cant be lost Also does anyone else think its weird how the great background advertised on this apps cover is not in the app I cant find it Thanks and great app                 Great app

This paid app looks like it would be great Im yet to edit my first picture because it keeps crashing when I try to import a photo Im wasting time rebooting my phone        Ok I guess

My FAVORITE app but it keeps crashing after the update I just did I can no longer add layers Please fix     Down again

I like the app but what happen to the different colored gradients Now its just the same as the colors Its boring Bring back the colorful gradient              Masterfx

I have purchased all of it However it will not load any of the features at all I have made this purchase three separate occasions please fix     Fix it

Great app but a recent update kicked the pooch It took a few weeks before the patch went out and mine works fine again Grateful because it is a unique app thats got great photo editing capabilities Wish developer would have sent word out they were working on a fix                 Crash and burn fixed

When I download new iOS 9 then open fx master app still not work open then uninstalled then installed but not same before iOS 80 was great app Im so piss offff why I pay 799 Next time I wont download new iOS 10 again I dont trust applecom Because they destroy apps     iOS 90 destroy app

Master Fx has tons of great looking backgrounds that would be suitable for use with other apps to add foreground objects It is essential that you have a good broadband connection in order to use this app because you will need to download FX and backgrounds before they can be used I also had to delete and reinstall Master Fx once because I think one of the several files I needed to download may have gotten corrupted that prevented a successful synch of my iPad Air with my iMac I have also had to pay extra for some backgrounds even though I did a first in app purchase of the master pack I think Apple needs to make developers define what is included in master packs so consumers have better knowledge of what they are buying Some of the Fx such as the people pack is very limited in the type and number of stock people A more diverse selection would make this a better app           Great backgrounds but flawed

I remember when the masking didnt screw up on my when I try to mask a random line appears and I always have to go back and fix it which causes another random line I bought every single pack but when got a new ipad and downloaded the app again I couldnt restore any of my purchases     Not as good as it use to be

Need a update None the catagories i paid for work Update immidatly been months We need some new features too Plus new catagories Id like a missing you catagory My love just died Like some halos Angle wings heavenly backgrounds Tears please update im going contact apple about my in app purchases i bought indivdually Years ago no new features or anything this app came out years ago now I love it but need some upgrades None of the categories are showing up on iPad or iPhone Ios 84 ios 83        Need a update

So this app just was reduced to Free but its full of inapp purchases To make matters worse the UI is simply terrible Beyond terrible Dont even bother     Terrible full of inapp purchases

When you are masking it does not highlight in green to mask it erases it instead You need to correct this for us please And thank you              Fix please

I had this app a while ago and spent a lot of money on content When I got it again and restored my purchases they didnt give them to me Kinda mad about this           Used to be better

1 Sessions not saving It says it saves it but once I leave a project then return to work on it later its not saved in my sessions 2The texture effects are not showing 3 When Im masking a layer it paintserases a line straight through the image after I zoom inout Anyone else having these problems I really hope these problems get fixed because I love using this app           MasterFX Issues

Just happened I use this app a lot And spent a lot of on all the upgrades Now it crashes and burns You cant even open it I made a really cool pic with it just yesterday There was an update now kapoot Come you know when these things are coming out Oh and when you click on help desk it says theres no technical support Yay     What the heck

This was my favorite app I made all my album covers on it when I updated it seems it starts ok But U add one pic and app crashes or U try to add another and screen goes black please please fix this     What happened with ios8

Was my favorite photo editing app with my ipad 4 I have an ipad mini retina no longer works at all Too bad I give it 1 star for the past Now it works but totally frustrating when using mask cannot undo one step back and it will reset by its self and if you accidentally clear cannot redo very unforgiving     Doesnt work with ipad mini retina

I really do adore this app I use it for all my pictures that I like to spruce up with some excitement Its funny because my friends have asked me if I suddenly bought Photoshop or something This app is a musthave certainly Now some suggestionspleas Ive noticed some users desire the return of the green highlighting for the masking function I do not want thatAt all With my particular editing the erasing update allows much more precise and crisp edges and I am able to see the effects immediately instead of trying to guess where to stop What this ensures for me is smoother results However since others are uncomfortable with that programing both options instead of just one or the either would really make your app top notch As for my plea please please bring back the textured coloring for the font style While the gradients and colors were nice to utilize in some photos It was your unique text coloring that really helped set your app apart from the rest I also suggest putting gradients colors and textured shades all as three options in one app But yes either way thank you posting this app              General

After I updated my phone to iOS9 This app keeps crashing when I chose my picture It used to happened to me before this updating and it works after closing the app and reopened it but now it never works        Crash You need to update this app for iOS9

I updated to ios9 and boom does not work at all Opens then i load a picture then it closes Cant find support at all for this           CRASHING ON NEW IPAD

I used to love this app It was a wonderful creative tool Now every sessionpiece I create is gone the next time I open the app as is the open session option If there was a way to back up the individual sessions say to DropBox and reload them at least there would be a workaround but there is no backupimport functionality I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling but that made the issue even worse How is it that the most basic and important app function saving and reloading your files does not work     Previous sessions no longer saved

I dont know I bought the app a week ago and I love it already works perfectly fine has not crashed yet and the effects are fine too I hope for even more packs though                 I really love it

Purchased new iPad and now its asking me to pay 799 after downloading to new iPad Ive written them twice with no response This is not unusual Ive had this app for a while and when it works it is awesome but there are always so many technical problems with slow or no support     Too many issues bad support

This App started off pretty bug free However with the last two iOS upgrades things have become worse I just deleted and downloaded the latest version of the App on iOS 8 And practically nothing works I have emailed the developer awhile back but no response They should take this App off the iTunes Store and fix the problems Its generally a good App if it would work I use graphics and imaging Apps everyday     Buggy and no fixes

Been using this app for months now for all types of designs and I must say that Im impressed with all the amazing features and hd rendering of my pics The quality is unbeatable Kudos to the creators for such a great app                 Amazing App

The effects are are good and the backgrounds are amazing But there is something wrong with the word text I click on the desired font and after I click done it says applying font and crashes and exits out of the app And the mask feature makes it seem like its working but after Im done and choose a filter itll bring back pieces of the picture that Ive masked and it looks very messy The only thing thats in working order would appear to be the effects and backgrounds Adding pictures from your camera roll seems to mess up the whole thing           The app is great but like all apps it has its flaws

Would be great but developers dont respond and app needs updated like last year I used to love this app but now I cant even use it since the last update it crashes every time I have saved projects that I cant even complete because of it very disappointed           still waiting for update

OK THIS APP HAS ME SO ANGRY SO SO ANGRY IT USED TO WORK JUST FINE NOW EVERY TIME I TRY TO START A SESSION OR EDIT A PHOTO OR WHATEVER AND WANT TO ADD A PHOTO TO THE PHOTO IT JUST SHOWS A BAR AND BLACK EVERY OTHER TIME SO I CLOSE THE APP EVERY OTHER TIME SINCE IM THAT DESPERATE THEN EVEN THOUGH I SAVE THE SESSION THE SESSION GETS DELETED ABD IM LEFT WITH MY VERY ORIGINAL PHOTO THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THIS BECAUSE AFTER I ADD THE SECOND PHOTO AFTER MUCH FRUSTRATION IT ALL GETS DELETED IT SHOULDNT BE THIS HARD AND YES MINE IS UPDATED I HAVE AN IPHONE 6 AND UPDATED IOS I SHOULD NOT BE HAVING THIS PROBLEM I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND     I NORMALLY DONT MAKE REVIEWS

I would absolutely give this app Five Stars if not more BUT Developer needs to address some customers concerns and all current issues Especially for those who have paid for all the InApp Purchases Problems 1 Masking is not accurate 2 No Undo tabfeature while masking 3 Masking randomly erases a line across object 4 Masking creates a Black Border around object 5 Pinch to Zoom is not accurate and causes Masking issue if the masking features were at least some what relatively close to the app called UNION this app would be amazing 6 Removing a photo and then adding a new photo makes the display turn black 7 Pop Up Ad when opening app 8 No great quality UI for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Truly I love the concept of this application but Im so close to just deleting it and not recommending it to anyone to install Please please address issues        Please Fix

This app no longer works Only one set of effects does work All others used to work but no longer do Nor will they download again This app used to be great Now it is a real bummer I suppose it has been abandoned by its creators NO STARS One only because I have to by your stupid rating system     Master FX

When I got this app I loved it I even bought the in app options Now its doesnt work properly I try to add a second photo and when I go to mask it a box appears and a line forms and I cant mask it properly When I upgraded from a iPhone 4 that had iOS6 to a 5s that had iOS 7 I had the exact same issue that Im having now that I bought the new iPhone 6 Plus and upgraded to iOS8please update this app to work properly with iOS8 this is one of the better apps out thereI had to make a review to see if someone fixes this issue     Needs iOS8 Update

Please fix the crashes bugs if this continues do not get this app because right when you have created amazing work it will crash on you     Not reliable
