This app is great for my 4 year old who is in the spectrum and has poor receptive speech He enjoys playing it and is learning how to identify objects and spell them out Great teaching app
If my child could play more than one picture card without it closing down then she might be able to enjoy it Otherwise it looks like it would be a good app Crashes constantly
This could easily be a 5 star app if there was an easy way view specific types of words For example words with a silent E vowel teams ea ie oa R controlled vowels ar er ir ur and Sh Th Ch Ck Wh Ee Oo English has so many rules that you need to be able to isolate each rule to effectively be able to teach it Please update this app My son is currently using Little Reader 3 letter words and loves it actually I love it for him Could be 5 star if
Decided to check it out for a five year old and It seemed to keep a three year old pretty occupied today just with making the matches and playing the spoken words I was pleased with this over many childrens apps for no banner ads or buttons that launch an IAP store and a simple enough UI that they can learn without frequently requiring assistance Quality childrens app
Purchased this app for my daughter and it keeps closing after a few rounds Tried reinstalling the app but it still didnt work I sent an email to customer support but never got a response App failed customer service never responded
My little mathematical genius has a little problem reading so I downloaded this and a few other apps for her iPod touch cheaper than those electronic toys for youngsters as apps arent 20 a game It is building confidence and shes remembering what she forgot over the summer I wish these guys made other stuff I would buy that too She doesnt need my help and she wants to keep playing Winwin Love it

Your app has errors Your pictures do not match the words The errors are so frequent that I cant use because it confuses my child in his learning process There are better functioning apps that are free Picture Errors
There are wordpicture errors on just about every page This is very confusing for a child learning sound letter recognition Here are some examples of the pictureword errors sandseal ricering palmpail slugsled yarnworm taxismog This defeats the purposes of this app Pictureword errors
Good thing about this app it was free Real life pictures are great Bad thing about this app boring doesnt really teach spelling Basically you tap on a picture you hear the name of the object and drag the picture to the word How does that teach spelling It doesnt Boring app Glad I didnt have to pay for it Glad it was free

Great App So many ways I can use this with my students Great pictures and I love how you can add your own SLP
I like to use apps like these to reinforce the readng and spelling assignments my 1st grader has for each week of school I wish that instead of only being able to turn off all words beginning with a certain letter that this had the option to select which words from each letter list I want to work on each week For instance if he needs 4 words from the starts with S list and 2 that start with B and so forth so I could narrow down the words to quiz him on I like the current pics and the audio clips for the word but we dont always need to go through every word starting with a certain letter Suggestion

I love that you can now turn off the magnet that snaps the correct answer in place I requested that and the developers listened I also like how you can customize by selecting words and pictures to include Great pictures

I was excited to try this app but now that my son has played it Im disappointed Its way too easy for the kids to get it right without learning the word The tiles just fall into place Not good for kids on the spectrum who learn patterns easier than learning the words Disappointed

This is a good app that will be helpful with word recognition and association I would like to be able to select where the hints come from the word or the picture not only have them on both Overall though I am pleased with it Helpful
This is basically a matching game where you drag boxes from left to right Problem is once your close to the box it automatically matches So my daughter just started dragging it around until it was close enough to automatically pull it in Horrible app
This is a great app I used it the very first day with my students at school wo having to customize anything Great app
For the words that are on these lists this is an ok app And you are able to add words so thats cool But you cant link to the web to add a pic for the new words youve added You have to save the pics to your images file first then you go back to the app add your word and can choose from your list Also it would be great if you could add your own categories besides the alphabet so you could include word families like the at or an families or 3 and 5letter word categories or school spelling word categories etc You get the idea Could be better

The concept is a good one However some of the words and photos that were used Not so good How can you use a word like slap and show a photo of a young boy about to be slapped in the face If that was an attempt at humor it wasnt funny for a childrens ap So so

This app is a good concept however the words and pictures dont match For instance a picture of a pond pairs with the word plum and a picture of sand pairs with the word salt I thought maybe it was a every now and then mistake but unfortunately its every now and then its correct Very disappointing Terrible

My five year old figured out how to beat it without having to read the words The pictures snap to the correct words and not to the others All she has to do is take an image and glide it across all of them until it snaps in place Doesnt work

I was shocked when the word SLAP shows a small child being slapped in the face turned off the app and went no further I was reviewing this app for my own interest and to recommend it to a friend with young grandchildren I was surprised at the choice a the word Slap and its inclusion in a four letter word for new readers and am disturbed the illustration shows a small child being slapped in the face I have cautioned my friends and nieces that there are better materials out there and to review material before they provide them to their children CAUTION CHILD ABUSE IS PICTURED IN THE APP
