Blackjack is deceptively simple Add up your cards try to get to 21 but dont go over But watch out for that tricky little ace it can be either 1 or 11 Easy right Well after five minutes with this app I realized just how little I knew about the game and how complex it can be It also explained why I got weird looks from some of the dealers I played with in Vegas I was going about this all wrong Im busy memorizing the cheat sheet in attempts to get a perfect score on the skill quiz Blackjack is tougher than you want it to be but this app is one of the few that may actually MAKE you money I had no idea how little I knew

App is very good at explaining what you should do at any given time However in the training exercises the numbers on the cards are too hard to differentiate Ex the 4s and 9s Fix this and the app will be a solid 5 stars Not bad

I like the app I like the complete ease of consulting the cheat sheet while learning and the slightly sloweddown pace at which the cards come down compared to the very rapidfire speed of other apps The seeming bug Ive encountered is that twice this morning Ive busted at 22 but the app has then played the dealers hand out anyway up to 25 in both cases I was not watching the chips closely enough to see what those did in these two cases Very good possible minor bug

So I knew next to nothing about blackjack and needed a crash course before heading to Vegas with some friends After trying several different apps that seemed to just be about memorization I found this app and loved it It tells you logically why youre making different decisions so I can usually figure something out even if I dont remember the specific rule Then it lets you test out your knowledge in both a quiz and actually playing the game which is great I highly recommend this app Favorite blackjack app

Found an error in the Vegas quiz A pair of 7s should always be split with a dealer showing a face card of 7 and less When I chose split the app says wrong yet explains in this situation you should split Obviously a technical error Nevertheless a blackjack trainer app needs to be accurate or basic strategy is learned the wrong way Error
Any app that removes Facebook integration gets an automatic 5 star rating from me Also a great app No more Facebook
The part of the app where they teach you isnt interactive it is just reading some text on the screen It needs to be interactive giving you a chance to actually SEE and PRACTICE some of the things AS you are learning them And providing cheat sheets isnt a useful way to actually TEACH what I mean is staring at the cheat sheet doesnt help me learn and remember WHY those are the correct moves nor is it any fun Honestly I skipped that part because I didnt really understand what I was looking at On the other hand I love the quiz feature I just wish I had been more prepared before heading into the quizzes Good and bad

I bought this program for the card counting aspects I am a pretty good card counter and it has me wrong EVERY time Not only does it have me wrong it usually has me 4 or 5 numbers off on the easy version I am not off on any other program that I practice If you buy this game and start practicing you will definitely doubt your abilities as a card counter when most likely your answers will be correct Who cares about 99 for the app its a piece of junk Horrible Card Counting Program
