This app crashes every time I try to load the friends page Requesting a refund     Crashes

Used to work great now after the recent versions it never updates Luckily there are plenty of other alternatives now     Doesnt work anymore

Promising app but doesnt deliver Bought it so that I can use the friend tracker I dont care to see where I am I have Google maps for that Crashes every single time I try to add a friend Wish I never bought it Real bummer     Crashes when adding friends

Its great that you added the ability to hide inactive friends but itd be nice to be able to hide specific people Itd be nice to be able to hide friends I have a friend that lives in another state now and itd be nice to be able to hide him so that the map will center around my local friends Thanks for the great app              Minor Quibble

The 20 update is excellent even using GPS updates in the background until iOS 42 comes out and resolves tower switch notification issues seems to be more battery efficient than previous versions and it updates Latitude on the interval like clockwork Beyond that Alberto has been very keen on answering questions and good customer support goes a long way                 20 no longer a work in progress

Everything seems to be working fine now I dont have enough friends using this YET but hopefully soon I think its early in its life for everyday practicality But in time it will be awesome              Good app

On launch I see a white screen with Login and nothing happens Ever No login options provided I reported it as a problem to iTunes and received a prompt refund Yay iTunes     Useless

Should be good if iOS 42 fixes location update bug I would like to suggest 2 features 1 Trigger an update whenever power is pluggedunplugged I charge in the car and this would allow for prompt updates when arriving at a destination Updates could be more frequent when on a charger ie every minute 2 Implement a maximum time between updates that can be used when in location change trigger mode This way if you dont move far enough to trigger an update one will be triggered automatically eventually              Suggestions

As others have said The update has not solved problems I would not buy until ratings show real improvement        Crashes

I dont usually say this in a review but others really dont understand iOS 4s background Location Services andor the intention of Google Latitude This app does exactly it says exactly how youd expect in iOS 4 It updates in the background when you moveiOS design uses GPS in the foreground and GPS in the background if something else is or cell location if not iOS design and has next to no impact on the battery when in the background iOS intention The friends features are nice and the historyplayback is kinda neat But seriously automatic background updating is the key feature to Google Latitude and Latitudie does it                 Exactly what it says on the tin

Flat out does not work dont waste your money until an update comes out Crashes everytime     Do not buy

I have not seen the application crash as others have stated but two things 1 As with other reviews they are correct there is NO way for you to completely shut it off that I can see other than going in to settings manually and turning off location settings for the app Even if you kill the app in the multitasking bar it continues to run and even if you then go in to kill the process it continues to appear to be accessing the GPS 2 My major gripe it does NOT update in the background for long I dont know how what why or when but say you put the frequency on 15 minutes and you background the app I will normally get an update 15 minutes later but then not again until I launch the app again I know it has been said that it checks your location with tower data and only when it determines that youve moved then it will kick the GPS on and update your location to save battery So far that doesnt seem to be true for me If anyone has any hot tips to make it really work in the background Im all ears Anyway updating in the background was the main reason I got this app and it doesnt appear to do that correctly so if you too are looking for that continue looking Other than those its a great Latitude app with potential Its a 5star app but with each of my gripes above Im dinging it a star for each           Good app for Latitude functionality but couple huge flaws

I gave a bad review for the first version of the app Now this program works perfectly for me This program is been vastly improved Their last update made this program behave as it should It updates at the correct interval It runs in the background properly And it seems to remain logged in which I appreciate as I was tired of having to go to a Google login and permissions setting every time I ran the program Now just seems to run properly                 Latest Version Rocks

IPhone4 and full bars 3G Using this for work an its unreliable 1 hr later it has my coworker who is standing next to me about 7 miles south of our location Does not seem to update my loation accurately I have to restart it often to get a good fix on my position refreshig map does nothing And sometimes the app crashes Could be very promising if it is more accurate Fix the bugs and you have a winner           Unreliable but Promising

Ive also had the problem where Latitudie will stop updating in the background Example I bought Latitudie and turned on 15 minute minimum updates with GPS off I see an update posted to Google Seems to work I then drive 15 miles 30 minutes to work in the morning and check Google in the afternoon I can see that Latitudie only made one update shortly after having left my house No further updates were made unless I forced an update by opening the App The problem went away once I enabled GPS updates But Id like to be able to have more frequent updates without the battery draining too quickly I tend to run a GPS app while driving if that helps narrow down the problem 5 stars once this gets fixed           Background Update Problem

So some of the reviews on this app arent fair because it seems the people dont understand how Google latitude works and how iOS background location works I downloaded the app this morning and used it as I walked around Boston for the day The apps works EXACTLY as advertised It is great It will update your location on Google Latitude when you change positions This is based off of the baseband connecting to cell towers It is not based off of a certain time limit and shouldnt be It updates as you move and only when you move Perfect for saving battery life For the people saying it updates every second I do see that happening but that is only happening when you have the actual app open That is something that the developer needs to look into When the app is running in the background it works perfect Some other improvements i think would make this app a top contender is really to just address the every second update when the app is open and to also just incorporate a friends map Basically it would really be nice to see my friends locations in the app instead of having to use the Google Latitude web app Fix those two things and its a winner So happy that I found this app I will be recommending it to all my friends UPDATED FOR V2 the crashes are fixed now Seems to run great and updates in the background I still want the blue accuracy circles around friends and the ability to cycle through friends in the friend map mode like how the latitude web app does Other then that solid update              App works as advertised updates google latitude in the background

This app does not work on any of my devices I have tried several times downloading still will not work You open the app and the next screen is an error and no way to get out of it except to close the app I would like a refund This app does not deserve even one star but it is the only way my review can be submitted     Latitude

This crap wont even open I get a failure message and a 404 code If it wasnt such a waste of time I would go to Apple to get my money back     Piece of Crap

Been using this for a while Works great Has more options than Googles latitude app                 Great App

and then it kills your battery I turned on GPS updateswhich warn of more battery usagethen tried to combat that by setting it to only every two hours I left it running in the background then went to bed with a full battery In the morning I was down to half Thats pathetic especially on my shiny iPhone 4 The app doesnt update unless you have it in the background and then it eats your battery           Doesnt update unless left in the multitasking bar
