With tons of other similar games out there Lab Asylum doesn t do much to stand apart The music is uninspiring and forgettable The gameplay is very slow paced with ads constantly popping up while the game continues behind it usually resulting in hitting something to end the game The only rewards to spend the acorns you collect throughout the levels are two new costumes which require three separate purchases to acquire With other faster paced games of the same concept providing more items to acquire and better gimmicks to keep you playing I recommend searching for an alternative Even as a free game Lab Asylum isn t worth the download         Blah Very blah 13Dragoon13

This app seems like a very good quality game The graphics are nice and the character is very likeable The ads are very excessive and the game ends if you touch anything I think that if this app were a paid app or a console game and the character was turned into a brand with improved gameplay it could be amazing             Lots of potential Sodaguy

Jetpack joyride was my game of the year for any platform in 2011 I easily put 30 hours into that game Lab Asylum has a lot of work to do to reach that level of quality At first glance this game has a lot going for it Good graphics interesting mechanics and a leader board for tracking scores I enjoyed the jump mechanic longer presses for higher jumps and was pleasantly surprised with the ability to go backwards a subtle touch but a nice one The dash mechanic works well and when used in conjunction with the jump button allows for some pretty amazing escapes So if the mechanics are good why is this only three stars The sense of speed is non existent and the animation of the main character is so choppy that I get a migraine after five minutes of play It feels like the frame rate is stuck at a quarter of what it should be At first I thought it was just my iPad but after clearing memory the frame rate was still horrid I then thought there might be a speed setting that was stuck on slow but I could not find anywhere to adjust speed For those who are sensitive to choppiness or slow animations stay away I ll continue playing and hope that these issues were only temporary this could be a fun game if it didn t make me sick             Poor entry in a crowded genre Jopie1987
