The app has been useful to me on the road I even needed the let Jesse buy it for info on the solar panel which I purchased while away from home Review
There is no sports section in the top menu and the top and local stories are generally the same stories redundant National news is after environmental news which is only periodically updated and often contains old content There is no way to customize this app to the news I want to read Disappointing app at best No sports and unable to customize content
I enjoy the King 5 app on my IPad as it gives me quick access to local news and weather wherever I may be The app is laid out nicely so I can easily locate features of interest to me Review
I love having this app I travel a lot and this makes me feel right at home by being able to keep up with the local news I like the various tabs so that I can go to exactly what I want instead of having to go through an entire website to get to what I want Great app

Have to turn off Google Analytics every time after app is completely quit Unacceptable Cannot enter zip code for weather this field doesnt want to accept tap after first use entered zip code once when returned to weather settings this field was empty for whatever reason field no longer reacts to my repeated taps after that Too annoying to bother with this app Poor settings

The news on this App tends to be quite stale It is like TV News these days they take 20 minutes of news and spread it out over 30 minutes I guess this is the inevitable result of stations cutting their News staff to the bone I am tired of weather and traffic every 10 minutes I guess those items are the cheapest to produce Stale News
Have yet to get it to load Had it 3 days and in several places It never did load No load
This app is so well made that I sometimes have to marvel esp after recent refreshes and updates I use it everyday It simply has everything Amazing local news app

The King 5 news app offers convenient access to breaking news stories but all to often is dominated by stories that are days old It also seems as if no one actually proof reads any of it Typos are one thing but chopped up senseless paragraphs are all to common Is journalism dead You may start to think so looking at King 5 News Not always new news
I live on the Washington coast and we have no local coverage This app covers the whole state better than the other Puget Trough BC to OR stations I use a SFbased traffic app though that is more complete than the traffic info on King5com Best in Seattle

The app works well and the tiles help sort the categories for a quick search The presentation is clean and the pictures and videos are a good size I would give this five stars but for some reason it just doesnt seem to provide the depth their website does I know thats odd considering the content is the same It could just be my preference for the density of the website Pretty good

I love the K5 alerts that pop up on my iPad I will watch the K5 news at noon to get the whole story And if I cant watch the news I look on the K5 news web sight and can get the story Alerts

Theres nothing particularly wrong with this app Its just that its kind of light on content If you just want to skim the highlights OK Nothing controversial Nothing that causes you to think Its more like a quick scan down Google News headlines if you take out two thirds of the content The weather is generally more accurate than the national apps but it isnt the best or most current on weekends compared to other local stations The traffic section is helpful Its essentially the re packed state site but you can stay in app to view it Thats about it Average app OK for a quick view
