All I use this app for is to see which JR Yamanote train cars are the least crowded and have the coolest temperatures Everything else from delays to route guidance can be done faster better and easier on google maps or hyperdia Connection is horrible The app rarely connects Instead of cacheing the data so it only has to connect one time it reaches out to the servers each selection so it is constantly trying to connect and failing to do so I m on au and all other apps work fine when this one doesn t The Japanese version works a bit better but this English version is useless This is all in addition to the overcrowded busy layout typical of Japanese apps     Needed app terrible execution Chuckjapn

Stores no data locally so must have stable internet connection Just try using this junk app while on one of their trains where internet connection comes and goes Additionally there is no timetable in the app worried about missing the last train good luck Want to know how tight a connection will be not a chance This app must have been written by someone s 16 year old during a summer internship Terrible     Confusing and actually useless once you figure it out What the Junk

This is a great tool for using your JR Pass in Tokyo just wish the other JR companies would follow suite and do something similar                 Wish there were more for the rest of Japan SW!SS

Found this app useful so installed The app at times starts to download some files which is so so slow that ended up deleting it from the phone         Something seriously wrong Abhimish

Well Thanks JR East but It s not possible to access timetables for stations other than Tokyo Ueno Shinagawa and Shinjuku The station in Tokyo I visit the most is Ikebukuro Perhaps it s not busy enough to warrant a timetable Or it doesn t have Shinkansen service I don t need detailed information on the Yamamote line It runs in a circle and stops at every station I need the complete timetable for Yokohama station with all limited express liner overnight and special excursion trains included I need the complete timetable for the Shonan Shinjuku and Ueno Tokyo lines including all branches of service in Tochigi Ibaraki Saitama Tokyo Kanagawa and Shizuoka Can t this be done in English It s better than nothing if you are vacationing in Tokyo or plan to use the Shinkansen from Tokyo but this is laughably inadequate compared to the comprehensive Japanese version I give JR East much credit for their heroic efforts in catering to non Japanese speakers but this app isn t exactly the high point of that campaign The most useful feature is probably real time info on service disruptions Keep an eye on this and look for improvements in future versions         Useless outside of Tokyo mostly useless in Tokyo Kenstevens1067
