One of the glaring oversights by Apple is the inability to play iTunes video playlists or any other playlist natively I downloaded the free Joobik app after getting tired of the manipulation of videos that I had to do to watch them in a playlist on my phone and it worked fine Since I had an iTunes gift card I was happy to spend a couple bucks of it to get the ad free upgrade I liked the app so much and found it so useful in fact that I delayed updating my iOS for more than a year out of concern that Joobik wouldn t work anymore Tonight I did upgrade my iOS and Joobik didn t work Luckily other reviews suggested that simply rebooting the divice may fix the problems and it did Now it s working fine for me Joobik is a no frills type media player with some limitations If you have a video playlist set up on your computer in iTunes it will read that playlist and allow you to watch it on your device The ads in the free version were not obtrusive but I m glad I upgraded Unfortunately Apple ties things up so tight that it hamstrings app developers Joobik for example cannot play videos bought on the iTunes store if they use Apple s FairPlay DRM Apple decided only Apple apps can play those too bad Apple won t let you make a playlist and watch them that way though There are a couple of other minor bugs floating around the app From time to time audio starts on a video but the screen stays black Going to the home screen and reopening the app fixes this Sometimes the player remembers playback position sometimes it doesn t and sometimes it remembers the previous playback position even if you ve watched the video all the way through Again these are minor annoyances but enough to prevent a full 5 star rating                 Was afraid it wouldn t work but it does bnm73

This is really a great app giving back the functionality of making normal iTunes playlists containing videos that Apple took away starting with system 8 It s simple and easy to use just create an iTunes playlist and it will open and play it My only issues with it is that when you scroll forward or back while watching video it tends to either pause the video and won t go back to play easily and it often swipes to the next video because the scroll bar is narrow and easy to accidentally miss However the publisher is fast to respond with updates when bugs are found or reported so I expect this to be taken care of                     Great Video Player Poz235

For some reason Apple does not allow video playlists to work on iPads iPods iPhones This app lets you take video playlists out of iTunes and have them work on your devices You can also create custom playlists right inside the app There are a few annoying features that keep me from giving it 5 stars 1 The app does not seem to keep the same playlist order that you see in iTunes It seems to me that the videos are listed in artist order So if you have five Adele music videos they will be played one after the other There is a random play setting but I would still like to preserve the iTunes order as a choice 2 Every time you start the app it has to sync with the video library This happens even when there are no changes to the library On my iPad this takes several minutes due to the high number of video clips I have over 2000 It would be nice if they promoted before the sync is started                 Great app for making video playlists OldPhantom

Great app bought it for my multiple vid playlist Easy to use interface with some nice options Everything functions as expected but there is a bug if with fast forward backward to a point and the video doesn t resume play even multiple press on play at bottom right To restore playing you need to go back to list and select the vid again inconvenient but hey it s a 3 app but it would be nice to fix this bug though 4 stars 1 star less because of bug                 Mr LongballBoarder

I m running an older 24 iMac and an iPad mini Finally I can sync movies and TV to Joobik and playlists Have to say I ve never had any of the problems listed in the reviews here it s run Ike a dream for almost a year now                     Video playlists at last The False Profit

Worked well for a while but now it won t recognize all of my music videos including those most recently downloaded They are all Apple purchased so no reason I know of for Joobik not to recognize them They are showing in Ipad s music videos as well as in music but no go for joobik Have reached out to customer service no reply Hopefully they fix it             Problems need to be fixed Harring10

If you previously paid for this program it turns out that you were a sucker The May 4 update makes it display advertisements again unless you pay for it a second time by buying a premium pack I consider that unethical behavior and I think that Apple should require the app vendor to play fair DO NOT buy this app unless the vendor corrects its egregious bad move     I paid for it now it shows ads again Merooba

Ok This is an excellent app Does everything it states and more The reviewer below me giving the app one star is clearly wrong Maybe it s their video not working I ve uploaded 76 videos so far into this app created playlists All work fine The Dev even updated the app recently and added multiple select feature as well as the ability to still listen to your videos while the screen is in sleep mode and locked Clearly the Dev is still working on the app and listening 5 stars from me                     Works great and THERE IS Sound Lost in Tactics
