Need the ability to choose different currencies in a trip        Need for multiple currencies

I have been looking and waiting for a good businessoriented expense tracker to hit the app store for a while now In addition to trip folders and expense categories that make sense this app also allows for easy emailing of tabseparated expenses via email CSV export to GoogleDocs and very smooth receipt photos The whole thing is streamlined to be intuitive and quick which is exactly what I want for entering expenses on the go On a more personal note there are only a few things I would love to see added in future releases With these this would be the perfect app for my travel expenses A billable yesno field that I can check when entering receipts default yes A reimbursable yesno field that I can check at the same time also defaulting to yes Separate totals in the reports one for everything billable and one for everything reimbursable              Awesome business expense tracker

The most upsetting part for me was the inability to select a currency for each expense At times I visit a few different countries before returning home and the inability to assign different currencies was a real bummer        Foreign Currency

I am rather disappointed Perhaps I expected too much or misread the marketing material It ONLY handles trips and doesnt really seem to do other expenses or situations Alas if sales policies allowed refunds I would definitely ask for a refund I uninstalled it within minutes of first using it Its description appears to far exceed its delivery     disappointing

I recently updated to v12 and love the new features Had trouble emailing report when it was named Feb09 but after a speedy reply from developer on a Sunday he gave me the work aroundapparently Apple has some issues with 221 and I renamed report so it could be emailed I used to use Expense Plus Pro on my Palm but now this app is all I need for all my business travels I truly recommend Great customer service and support and well worth the money                 Very Happy

I think this is the best business travel expense tracker there is It is intuitive fully customizable and contains all the information needed to expense costs I tried some other similar Apps even more expensive ones but this one was by far the easiest to use for business expenses and billing This straightforward yet robust App allows me to avoid fiddling around with my iPhone figuring out how to input business expenses when I am on the road I love it                 ItchyPelican Review

I looked long and hard for an expenses recording app and this one fits the bill very nicely Since most of my travel is international the new multiple currency feature is a big improvement There are also a lot of great features under the hood such as the hotels rental and airline information that make it a good database at the same time The ability to scan receipts is useful as our accounting system and the IRS accept images rather than always needing the hard copy of a receipt Output to DropBox is a big plus as is the email feature It would be great if the next upgrade included a feature that would interface directly with company accounting packages but that is more a limitation of the company systems rather than a deficiency of JetSet However it will be the way of the future and I am waiting for the upgrade that will allow me to link to the company portal and send the expense returns electronically directly from JetSet All in all it is a great tool that I use on a daily basis when travelling and definitely the best one out there at this time                 Great for the Business Traveller

Good app except that you cant edit the currency used for each expense For example if you are on a business trip and use USD at the airport in the USA and get to Argentina and start using pesos there is no way to change this If you change the international settings in the iphone then all the currency will show as pesos Please fix           Int

Wow I have been using JetSet for years The new 20 release has completely revamped the product There are many things I like in this release The modern looking user interface definitely brings such pleasure in using it The workflow is very selfexplanatory It just took me a few minutes to master it The multicurrent support is thorough accurate and convenient Although I have been waiting for this feature for a while I feel its totally worth the wait The report sharing is easier too Just a few touches the reports can be sent to email Google Docs and Dropbox With JetSets photo receipts I dont need to worry about losing receipts anymore Have you missed any expenses for reimbursement It happened to me frequently before I started using JetSet If you a traveler who needs to track expenses look no further than JetSet                 Fantastic App for Travelers

JetSet is the one app I have used consistently without ever trying any competing apps My bookkeeper swears by it as well Expenses are entered by pressing icons and them supplying the data press another button and transmit them to the office Cloud storage is easy and quick as well                 Indispensable for my law practice

Very useful app but the inability to upload to Goggle Docs is VERY frustrating In spite of the updates on the support page reports DONT properly upload Please get this fixed soon Emailing the reports is not a satisfactory solution           Google Docs access issue

Ive been using JetSet for a little over a year and I can sincerely say that it has provided a tool for organizing my expenses that has eluded me for more than a decade as a sales rep Im sure Ive lost thousands of dollars from missing receipts or forgotten tips subway rides etc JetSet helps me stay on top of expenses becuse its extremely flexible You can use it on the fly in a taxi back to the office or when managing a batch of receipts collected over a week or two Its flexible so you can use it to organize expenses by week or month for a single trip or you can allocate expenses against a sinlge accout or set of accounts and add to it for the duration of a project The categories are useful and the misc category fills in gaps for everyting not listed The dropbox and google docs features also make it flexible and it served me extremely well during tax season Ive never written a review of an app before but wanted to speak up about this one becuase in all earnestness this app helped me address a personal shortcoming and improve my ability to organize and ultimatly do my job better                 Exceptionally wellorganized and useful

I have used JetSet since 2009 and it meets my needs for tracking business trip expenses better than any other app I have tried First the interface makes it easy to enter everything on the fly My Starbucks purchase is in the app before my coffee is ready This is essential for me especially when I dont get a receipt This app has eliminated the unpleasant experience of entering numerous receipts at once Second the ability to identify an expense as reimbursable andor billable is VERY helpful in my situation The nature of my business travel is such that tagging an expense with billable or reimbursable assures that I know what I am owed and who owes it to me I am not aware of any other app that includes these tags with their own running total There are three areas where I would like to see improvement 1 International currency handling would be a BIG plus for me I currently convert and enter in my home currency which is a hassle 2 The interface is well organized but could be a bit less garish a very minor issue but I appreciate good graphic design 3 The report exporting features are adequate but could be better              Works for me

When I read some of these reviews it highlights what a poor system iTunes has for rating software apps Anyone like me who has traveled a lot knows that you can literally lose thousands of dollars a year by not submitting everything youre owed for business expenses I bought this app several versions ago and became a beta tester The author of this app is AWESOME Extremely responsive Added many features in the latest version based on input from lots of people He listens He actually answers questions and this doesnt always happen in my experience There are A TON of cool features in this software I paid for the software in just one trip by doing a better job recording tips and taxi receipts If you travel on business regularly this could be the best return you ever got for 10                 This is a winner Whats with some of you

For the past few months Ive used this app to manage my travel expenses I dont use the picture receipt at all because my travel department would not allow it but it never crashed on mine I dont exactly remember if I paid 10 for it and Im sure I didnt as I would never buy any app over 5 but I do think it is worth the 10 There must have been a sale or discount or something when I bought it              I use this app daily

I love this APP Please add customization so I can customize which expense categories show up on the selection screen Also I want to customize the default account for said categories IE several default to credit card 1 I only use this to track my cash expenses Another thing why cant you setup an autofill feature for previously used restraints hotels whatever I would be willing to pay 3x as much for a customizable version of this                 Add more customization

This app captures expenses well but doesnt provide a reasonable way to get those expense out and into a submittable form So what good is it Answer None     Doesnt Understand Business Users

I bought JetSet simply to capture receipts and attach to expense reports logged into the company travel expense system Bad idea JetSet is a great system to electronically file and manage expenses if you dont have any alternative in your company but not as a tool to capture expense receipts You can capture expense receipts but when you email the expense the receipt is missing you have to dig into iPhoto library and pull it out Might as well use the camera Also it would be great if emailing expense reports went as XML or XLS attachment vs text copied into the email body I dont think many people are going to go to the trouble of cutting and pasting from email into Excel despite the instructions Going one step further APIs to typical corporate TE systems would be good as well maybe there is an industry standard API out there I suspect this is all coming in future releases I will keep my copy of JetSet in anticipation of these new releases        OK if you dont have IT system for expenses in your company

The app tracks expenses simply enough However when I want to get support from their web site it will not allow you to log in It is looking for a capcha entry Happy to enter it except nothing is being shown to allow for this entry I went to their web site with Safari IE and Chrome I gave up BTW I was trying to learn how to create an aggregate expense report for a specified time frame Doing this is not intuitive if the app allows for it If it doesnt allow for it then drop my rating to two stars which puts it slightly above carrying my receipts back in a hotel envelope           Support is crap

Ive owned JetSet for quite some time and was fortunate enough to participate in the Beta program for this latest version As someone that travels almost every week this program has become indispensable for me The integration with Google Docs is now working again as well as the addition of Dropbox integration If you are looking for a solid program to create trip reports where you are able to record your expenses quickly and efficiently then JetSet is the perfect solution Thanks also to the developer who has been very responsive to both my questions and feedback A must have for frequent travelers                 Completely New User Interface

I think JetSet is the best business expense app available I emphasize business because it is clearly designed for business travelers which I appreciate I have purchased and used four of the other expense apps on iTunes JetSet has a better design and better functionality than any Ive used The flipscreen design is smooth and makes entering expenses quick and painless The databases and connectivity to the address book really helps reduce the amount of typing required The built in calculator is also a great feature Having the ability to email reports to and import the data to Excel without drama sends it over the top for me The only things that could make the app better are foreign currency support according to the web site this is coming in the next update and ability to track payment methods which I am now tracking in notes Despite the room for improvement I think this is the best app for the money                 Ive tried four yes four JetSet is best

JetSet is the best App by far for business expenses Ive tried most others JetSet is intuitive and Maclike as us longtime Mac users want and expect I have used JetSet every week for nearly a year and it has only gotten better with the improvements since the original version Technical Support is efficient and completely responsive to questions and requests for features and betterments                 Principal Consultant

Halfway in adding my first set of expenses it crashed I overwrote a category with my own and was trying to add names from my address book to an expense and has crashed on startup ever since Oh and did I mention it wiped my address book in the process Can I have my money back please     Crashes on first report

Ive been looking for a good tool to track my expenses on business trips and JetSet Expenses fits the bill Clean interface easy enough to pick expense type and track how it was paid The builtin calculator is a nice touch and mailing me the report to be imported into a spreadsheet for my records later is extremely helpful After two business trips with the Lite version it was well worth picking up the full version              Great tool for tracking expenses

By far the best business travel expense app ever This is a must have app if you travel frequently whether for business or pleasure and need to track your expenses before during and after So creative so useful tons of features and worth every penny                 Buy it you wont regret it

I had landed in China when I found the application and was excited to get the it but as soon as I entered my first report adding my flight in USD and then getting ready to add an item for lunch in Beijing I realized that I couldnt find the currency setting I was expecting to find It was with increasing dissapointment I realized that due to spending 80 of my business traveling outside the US borders it was useless The app does not handle multiple currencies or even let you set a currency for a specific expense report It does recognize the regional setting from the phone and uses that currency but that is only of limited use I hope this is something that BriteLite is looking to enhance as the app is very good and has a lot of potential           Not useful for US based International Business Travelers

This is one my favorite apps The intuitive interface and great integration with the address book and export capabilities to Google Docs make it great for the frequent traveler I travel extensively and am now able to organize my expense report and export it to Google Docs ready for entering into my corporate application The ability to enter expenses as you incur them saves time and money Fewer lost reimbursements make the 499 well worth the cost Try the lite version and you will upgrade quickly as you will see the utility of this app                 Great Software for the Frequent Traveler

The receipts image capture doesnt work and expense entries dont always save I should have visited the developers website first the latest entry is from March 2009     Dont buy doesnt work with iOS 4

For awhile I am retracting my earlier ranking I used this for several months and had a lot of expense reports in it Jetset cant handle the load and crashed constantly Only way around it was to constantly remove old reports to slim down the list And I finally just got tired of the look and feel of Jetset You cant really organize anything It simply lists your reports In the order you input them Not even by date I moved on to Xpense Tracker Clean quick intuitive flexible organization and doesnt crash Plus it doesnt have a stupid splash screen It lets you get right to work Ill give this two stars because the devs heart is in the right place But it deserves a 1 on its design and ease of use     make my business life easier

This was the first app that I paid for and it was worth every penny Everyone in my office has to keep receipts and track expenses by hand except for me I showed the app and its upload abilities to google docs to my CFO and he said he hopes all the staff with iPhones buys this app Take a pic of the receipt and recycle it instead of filing it This has made my traveling easier to manage                 Just do my taxes

I love the App I just completed a 10000 expense report just using this App and Google docs I would have lost over 1000 of expenses without JetSet Most of bad reviews seem to be regarding the first version Version 11 was out when I bought and it has worked fine I dont photograph receipts so I cannot comment on that function JetSet permits you to have different expense projects running simultaneously A total for each is kept as is a running grand total Entries can be edited or changed including changing the date label amount etc The default date is the current date but you can change it so that you can enter expenses from the past I exported to Google docs and the feature worked well The resulting spreadsheet can be further edited if necessary or if you do not like the default layout Ver 12 will have ability to assign a payment type to a specific expense Ver 13 will add currency support                 Solid App

I regularly use this and send reports to DropBox It is nice how it formats the report Our accounting person is able to read it easily and check my receipts against it Very easy to use One downside have to format report in Excel to get the look I want but it only take a few minutes Would love to have it sync to iCloud and be able to log expenses from both my iPhone and iPad                 Indispensable Expense Reporter

This is plain and simply a perfect application for creating expense reports for business travel I loved the original version and this new version is even better The capacity to work with different currencies for international trips is a nice touch Moreover the expense report can be sent as an email or to dropbox in a format easily converted to an excel spreadsheet report Very convenient The app is intutive and also very elegant looking If you need an app to keep track of expenses billings etc to create expense reports look no further Well worth 3 bucks                 New version is even better

Needs a better intuative interface to know where youre at Main report screen verses report detail is too similar Both layout almost look identical use the again in the repert detail to get to the 15 different expense categories Youre going to keep get complaints of it not working and low ratings until you change the interface a bit so user knows they are a a different level              Confusing at 1st Not intuative to get to expense categories

I have used various expense reporting apps in the past but when I discovered JetSet a few years ago I couldnt be happier JetSet has done it again with version 20 Its even easier to use and has a lot more options to choose from especially when tracking smaller details of your trip I highly recommend this great app                 Version 20 is topnotch

Looked great until I realized it was a one currency app Totally useless for Intl travel Sorry I spent the 5 bucks     X

I was so eager and excited as I inputed all my receipts in the nice input forms only to fail to find any decent report other than an email of text to cut and paste into excel What about my receipt photos What about all the nice sections and graphics Also the gmail validation repeatedly failed Please help Ill change this rating to 4 or 5 if I can see a sharp and well organized output form If I give what I have now to my employer they will laugh     Great inputs terrible outputs

This app is amazing It does everything I want it to do Just a few suggestions for future updates 1 add multiple currency choices when im on a trip sometimes i pay in US dollars sometimes in British Sterling and sometimes in other third world country currencies Would be great if you can integrate all currencies used and allow us to enter the current exchange rates so i can still see the total in one currency of choice example enter amounts in USD Euros Egyptian pounds but show the total in USD as per the rates I entered 2 allow us to add some other hotel names restaurants etc so i dont have ot type it all the time Waiting for the updates              Amazing detailed but lacks few things
