I used to always depend on this app for planning any metro ride but it does not work now It consistently says it unable to route and makes me change between subway only or bus only which both dont work Please fix this so I can use it like I used to     Does not work

As a new visitor to DC who is not used to subways this app was awesome I put in my destination from my current location which you can change if you want tap start and it directs you to the nearest Metro station and then gave me choices of which line to use which was nice when one of the other lines had a delay It tells you which stop to exit the train whether you have to transfer lines and then it lets you know how far you have to walk and shows a map with your route marked out At each stop you can tap the locate arrow at the bottom left and it will usually update which stop youre at not always but it did by the next stop or where youre walking This app definitely gave me confidence using the subway system I also found it helpful to select to be notified of all advisories that came out It just helps you make a wiser decision as to which line to choose if more than one is an option                 Great Resource for NewbiesTourists

Trip planning is limited depending on the time of day If youre trying to plan trip for tomorrow morning and trains arent running at current time app is useless Also pricing is severely hampered        Experience needed

Although it has a big metro map which is helpful Trying to use the trip planner doesnt always work I used to love this app but I am defiantly downloading didnt apps to see if I can find a better replacement All the apps out there are lacking features and this hasnt been updated since 82014 There has to more the developers can do even if it requires in app purchases Was ok could be better        In need of an update

apparently for orange blue and silver lines they dont even know what direction the trains run They are mixed up     Which direction

I hate this App because everytime I tried to find the route to where I needed to go it says unable to route try a different destination which I obviously wont do because I need the destination I need to get to or route for another time if service is not running now and it in fact IS running and when I tried to set for another time it says the SAME STUPID THING     at least it opened

This app worked great for a year year and a half for me and then randomly stopped working No matter the start and end locations I enter it prompts me that it cannot calculate the trip and to allow bus routes I include bus routes and it still prompts me that it cannot calculate the trip Im on the verge of deleting this app Its only use now is as a metro map        Randomly Stopped Working

NH1 bus line doesnt run from Branch Avenue any more App gave bad directions     Out of date schedules

Im visiting DC today and Im trying this app Its not much Breyer than a rail map city The only advantage is that it gives you a point of reference from where you are but only for 50 of the time The rest of the time you cant find your exact location Im coming back to DC in three weeks I will try another app before then at which time I will amend this review if that app was any better        Minimal assistance

Live feed was down today and since the metro never sticks to the schedule the app becomes useless for timing trains           If live feed isnt working its useless

This app was good but it stopped updating any information It doesnt help you if you live far end of the metro because theres no time shown when the train will come I guess thats also because DC metro is one of the worst metro system in the country     Doesnt work any more

Favorite part about this app is being able to tap any metro station and it shows you what trains are departing and when I just moved to DC and this is great              Good for quick reference

The app has stopped working on my phone for a couple months now Cant calculate any route     Broken Now

When I first opened the app it displayed the official metro map Now all it displays is an Apple Map with station overlays Theres no way of getting back to the original Metro Map        Cant get back to the original Metro Map

This app is almost as unreliable as Metro itself I dont get alerts and the real time train update is never accurate The BLORSL line has been suspended and I have yet to get an alert     Unreliable

I used to use this app a ton during travel but its become very buggy Current location default is a pain Schedule trip planning function no longer works     No longer works properly

Groups wrong direction trains together at each stop If you know the directions well enough its great for referencing times           Good but doesnt group trains correctly

Ive tried to check from one station to another station so many times But I couldnt do it anymore It showed error all the timeeven thought Ive changed time or dates They should fix it     Its worse app

I started looking for a new metro app after the addition of the silver line Ive been using DC Embark which plans trips easily but still hasnt gotten around to adding silver line So I was really hopeful with this app Unfortunately it wont build a route no matter how direct of a route it is for example from Huntington to King St It keeps telling me to try a different time or enable buses but it wont allow me to pick a time in the future and it wont build a route with a bus either     Wont plan trips

I use this app all the time I use it for work and to visit my boyfriend I love this app I use it to see what train Ill use and what time to aboard it and to my final destination highly recommend it                 Awesome

This app used to be amazing They made fixes and eliminated the time between stations Used to tell u if got on at whiele would take fifteen minute to McLean Or whatever Without that the app does nothing more than metro opens doors trip planner Which I have to go to to check duration If that were back this would be a five for sure     Please please fix

The initial search feature for directions is not very good The app defaults to displaying only subway transportation between metro stations If youre not at a metro station and allow the app to search for directions from your current location it will tell you that no routes can be found and THEN gives the option to change the transportation mode to include buses No option to walk anywhere The default time is always set to the current time so if youre looking up routes while the metro system is not functioning it will also tell you that no route can be found Very annoying           Needs help with userfriendly development

It keeps telling me unable to locate a route when I placed station names on the same line It keeps asking to change and try again and nothing Delete     Useless app

I used to love this app but the best feature no longer works I cant route a trip Every time I try I get an unable to route error Im still able to view the map and get service alerts but I really need the routing feature to come back Edited I no longer get service alerts Instead I get a 404 Not Found error This app is worthless     Stopped routing

The good part is the map and to see all the stations But Im trying to see how long my train trip will take but a message keeps telling me youre in subway mode only and it is not working so try later Im on the train now Also if Im at my house a message tells me Im not near a station So I cant figure out how long the train trip will take Fix the bugs        Not working

Updated review June 2015 Wish the data feed from WMATA was more reliable Still love this app Want more features such as a way to see my estimated arrival time at a station once Im on a train Prior review Nice clean design Very useful app for commuting on the DC Metrorail system Ive been able to skip overcrowded trains because the app tells me another train on the same line is coming soon The app helped me on bad Metro days sometimes more so than the signs or announcements in the station or WMATAs email alerts I wish there was a way to go back from the service alerts to the station you were last viewing but thats a minor complaint Overall a musthave app for anyone traveling by DC Metrorail              Great app for DC Metro

For the past week I have not been getting push alerts or advisories even though theyre enabled There were two major disruptions last week and on the first one I had no idea until I got to the station and I was two hours late for work When you tap the email button it says theyll back to you as soon as we can I emailed them three times and they still wont respond     Push Alerts Arent Working

Id been using this app for a couple of years with great success until recently The app no longer functionswhenever an attempt to plan a trip is made it claims that no times are available and suggests switching to a bus route and vice versa Please update this In the meantime I will have to look for something else        Needs update
