"iTalmud takes the crown." - Jerusalem Post HD GRAPHICS - Use the power of the iPad to touch browse, pan and zoom through full, high-definition pages of the Talmud in both the original Tzuras ...
The application is cheap and contains the whole Talmud However selecting a specific masechet and page takes forever does not remember the last page read keeps crashing and I found it impossible to turn pages without selecting everything from scratch The Artscroll app is much better but way too expensive in comparison If the publisher can fix the glitches it could be a good application        Needs improvement
This is better than Art Scrolls App which would cost you about 900 bucks would like to make my own notes so please update thanks so much use it everyday              Rabbi
It would be a wonderful thing if they could make Itur bais Yosef for people like myself who travel and have learned in yeshivas this chazarah app would do worlds to advance Limud bais Yosef and chazarah and keep the fire of Torah burning in our hearts even as we are dealing in our lives with divrie chol please please look into making such an app maybe dirshue could partner with such a app i personally have gained so much from italmud and imishnah thank soo much for all your work and may Hashem bless you with everything you need in life                 Unbelievable app
This app has absolutely everything a person could want to study Talmud All the information of a regular page of Gemora English translation good search function etc I absolutely love it and could not imagine being without it                 Amazing app
I love this app Its so easy to use and for the price you get the entire Talmud with audio classes You dont have to travel with a bunch of different books as its all in one in app                 Amazing app
It still crashes all the time and doesnt open half the time           Still crashing and bugs
Crashes on opening     Latest Version
This app doesnt work at all It will open once after download then quit I got a runaround from the developers when I asked for my money back They say Apple is responsible for the refund Which is not the case according to purchase agreement     Useless
I love this app And have learnt so much through it But lately it keeps crashing on opening I cannot even view the page I am on Pls fix this bug              Help me
This is a wonderful app worth twice as much                 Great app
Excellent learning tool for any Torah Jew in the thorough understanding of the Talmud                 Amazing Talmud learning tool
What is going on Ive had this app for years but it seems like every time I actually need it it crashes     Crashes every time I open it
I use iTalmud for my daily learning with and without my Chabura With them I use just the blatt but on my own I still have a Chavrusa in the Audio Rebbi Thanks                 Great tool for learning
The app has improved since release Hebrew page much better Jastrow feels faster though indexing still not spot on Verses dont come up that are linked the chapter opens And audio daf yomi options are not as diverse as they could be see the Portal Daf HaYomi for example English translation feels like unedited public domain full of typos Still Artscroll is a lot more expensive and I think this one is good enough for me           Pretty good
I love this app and bought it on my ipad so I could read and study which I do However it would be wonderful if this was a universal app for the iphone as well so that if I want to quickly recall a bookmark etc I could just fire up the iphone Im certainly not paying another 2999              Love this but for 2999 should be a universal app
I find the program very useful and functional I like being able to enlarge the print of the traditional Shas The addons are also beneficial              A wonderful program
Truly amazing app Thank you hashem for technology Learning torah on the go what a blast                 Amazing torah app
I like the iTalmud You can search for Dof Yomi shiurim in your area and download the Dof Yomi text and audio various shiurim ranging from intermediate to advanced in English Hebrew Yiddish and other languages for free The improvement I would make is when the English text is side by side with the Hebrew text it should show which part of the page of the Talmud is being translated Sort of how it is in the real Talmud Also the commentators should be translated into English Thanks              A good buy
I think that this is a great app And for under 30 to own all of the Talmud is a real bargain Especially when you add in the audio portion of the Daf I have found reading the text to be of exceptionally good quality The mobility aspect of carrying the entire Talmud On a lightweight iPad is truly a great innovation For someone who travels on a regular basis and is serious about learning on a continuous basis it would be worth the money to buy an iPad and just have this one app contained on it Thanks again for this most worthy app                 ITalmud
Its great to have the Talmud on my iPhone but for everybody doing daf yomi with the English gemorah the translation in the italmud app is terrible     Yea for italmud
This great app worked flawlessly then two updates ago the whole Daf and Hebrew went south What happened Please fix this ASAP I have a 1st Gen IPad so be sure it works on my hardware     Current ITalmud Version
For such a comparatively cheap price this application is quite amazing With the extra features added it is the only Talmud Bavli you need The Steinsaltz edition is my personal favorite but if youre like me and cant afford it this application will absolutely do the job hands down                 Great Educational Tool
Latest release is not a winner Have to close and restart to get rid of the page cover so one can advance to amud bais Also purchased dictionary very disappointing Man of the words do not appear on the dictionary page displayed Going to get my money back on that purchase     Rabbi
Best of the Best                 Mr
Same problem                 Crashed
I would rate this a 100 however even though it is very much worth the price to have to buy it twice so that I can have access on my IPhone and IPad is wrong I purchased on phone first not realizing that you had to purchase separate for pad My mistake but very few make you purchase twice One of the features I love is that my phone becomes a take and go of my pad almost all of my apps auto sync between the two this should do the same     Must purchase separately for IPad and IPhone
Please work on providing English throughout the Talmud Otherwise its great           English anyone
All of shas in a click Great program I use it to learn when Im traveling and at home It doesnt have as many features as artscroll or some other apps but for the price it cant be beat                 Great app
A 5 stardont have a chavrusoh Dont worry listen to the daf from one of the several rabbinic scholars built in to the program For the fraction of a price of the hardcover books Todah Rabbah                 Talmud Bavli
Great to have the entire Shas available I downloaded a Masechta and learned on the plane to Israel              zzaek
As others have noted this app in its current iteration will not open iOS 811     Crashes upon opening
Artscroll have a clear lucid translation Italmud cant even spell the rabbis name correctly Save you time save your money     I terrible
Now if we could just get Yerushalmi too              Excellent
When it works its great but too many shiurs are missing The worst thing is that with the new version you cant start a shiur without being attached to the Internet even if you have downloaded it before so if I finish one shiur in the carI cant start another again even if I had downloaded the shiur earlier in the day Please a number of the shouts are too SPF to hear in the car Despite the problems I listen most everyday           Mrosenberg
App keeps on crashing                 Dont download
Great app very helpful for research or just stam learning on the go I actually used this app for an excuse to purchase my iPad                 Talmud app
Really great Gemara app The dad images could be a bit clearer though and sometimes the audio shiurim dont work when theres no wifi Other than that its a super app                 Awesome app
Beats shlepping a large heavy gemara around everywhere                 I really like it
In todays environment of constant travel and movement this app increases the amount one can learn and ones enjoyment of it while on the move What a chessed However work needs to be done on the constant crashing and the difficulty of moving from one Daf in Shas to a different one App often shuts down when I try I also once bought the Jastrow App from within iTalmud it subsequently disappeared and I havent been able to retrieve Id give 5 Stars for the idea and its presentation But it needs work           Amazing Chessed to Lomdei Torah on the move
Very helpful to access on the go Search capability is great              Italmud
The latest update solved the crash problem for me However I am using the iPad Air 2 which has an enhanced processor which may explain why I am not having a problem but others still seem to be              11262014 Update Solved My Crash Problem
My only complaint is that not all the tractates are currently translated into english But I love being able to search the Talmud for whatever subject comes up When it gets fully translated I will give this app 5 stars              The Search Feature Is Awesome
This would be so good if it wasnt so very unreliable Through several versions instability and crashes persist Such a waste of potential     Rabbi Rubinstein
It is a bargain The audio classes are incredible It is quite hard to advance without wifi In order to be able to download next chapters It would be an advantage tomdownload pereks instead of pages Moishe              ITalmud review
Wonderful resource In my purse for whenever I need it Well worth the price Cheaper than a single volume                 iTalmud
When will they fix this Two releases and still not even opening And support is not at all helpful I have wasted 30 on this     Normally great new update wont open
This is an awesome app with new updates coming all the time                 Awesome app
Good but with many annoying glitches 1 The dictionary and Tanach sources can only by done thru text mode 2 The tzuras hadaf and the text pages are not syncd so to access 1 you need to first switch to text mode the advance the page then access the plus functions if you then want to go back to daf mode you then need to drop back 1 page finally if you want to listen to the narration you need to go back to the text page advance 1 page then download the narration go back to the daf drop back 1 page then you can start to learn or shoot yourself to put yourself out of you r misery Of course what I described can occur multiple times on a singe amud 3 when you look up a word in the dictionary you first need to know the root Thats not you fault because thats Jastros problem Optimally youd have a dictionary that gave you a direct translation of that text word but failing that you should at least be able to delete the nonroot letters to search without having to erase the entire word before typing the root 4 There are some technical problems with the narrative when sometimes whole sentences are erased 5 The bookmark is OK but it would be better if you could somehow allow the daf position to be remembered so that the line you need to start with remains at the top or even better mark the word you need to start with Just now the whole thing has crashed so I cant do my Daf today very frustrating No other app has crashed You took care of Syncing the text tzuras hadaf problem but all the rest remain but no more crashes Id move you up to 35 stars           Review
I have this App on my IPad to make learning easier but was going to the App less and less because of problems today I needed it and I remember updating it recently but it will not open and keeps crashing Very frustrated because I had similar problems with The TorahChumash app        Frustrated by this App and other Apps from this company
Doesnt open unless I delete and redownload and even then crashes after one or two sessions worked for a day Now crashing     Crashes on opening even after 1126 update
