iSpeak French

This app is great becausei always have to ask my mom if i dont know a french wordshe ussually doesnt know an she told me to buy a translator so i did                 Cette app est très bien

All I ever get is the following when I try to use this app Unable to connect to server please try again later Needless to say I am totally frustrated and regret ever having downloaded this app I tried to contact support for this product that didnt work either     I have never been able to get this app to work

When I try to update the app I get Not enough room delete photos or videos Its all mixed up        Update problem

The first day I down loaded this I had to test it out with a repairman that was at the house and only spoke French This little program saved the day It was easy and acurate and the repairman didnt mind the wait since he knew this was better than us guessing at each others hand signals              Good app for translation

this app needs an update it wont translate anything I tried everything to get it to workI deleted the app and restarted it several times and it still doesnt work        Needs to be Fixed

I liked this appshould make an ispeak Japanese and Chinese                 Loved it

It doesnt work under 40 yet Kind of annoying if you testing things and you suddenly need to know how to say aunt Hopefully the update will come out shortly                 Good synthetic speech

Program will interpret most things But a lot of translations will not be in the proper context           Its ok

Translates english to ENGLISH how very useless     Wheres the French

I am currently in Paris and this app is pointless as you need WiFi or 3G in order to translate anything at all So when i go sight seeing it cannot be used Utterly useless I want a refund     Disappointed

Lacking in many catagoriesget English to English instead of French about 50 of the time Especially weak on different food items as in Duck translates to Duck Ice Cream to Ice Cream etc Disappointing expected more        Lacking

You can translate curses I think the only problem is it sometimes translates English to English not French but still great app                 Curses

I can not get the speed control to work This a major problem as the native speaker speaks very fast        Speed Control does not work

Works as described Allows you to save translations for future quick reference Also allows user to have control over the speed at which the phrase is spoken The voice playback of the translation does not play through the external speakers of the iphone In order to hear the translation you must connect earbuds Hope upgrades will offer this feature in the future              Good Ap only one issue

Down loaded French just as I did for Norwegian and Swedish but got nothing I can work with Have two bars at the top of the page one is EnglishtoFrench and the other says FrenchtoEnglish but cant write anything in either area Have used the Norwegian and Swedish before but since downloading French cant do anything with them either They look the same as the French now Very unhappy about it all Paid for all three and now I cant use them If you can fix please do so     Not happy

This app is amazing It translates quickly and accurately and itll even read the translation out loud in a very realistic accent Perfect for someone who is trying to brush up on their French skills or increase their vocabulary As other reviews mention you must be connected to wifi or 3G to translate And if the app doesnt know what youre asking it itll often repeat the phrase without translating it Overall this is an incredibly useful app                 Incroyhable

I downloaded this app while traveling in France as my rusty school French was not good enough for some situations At 100mb I assumed all the text was stored on the phone and I would be able to use it while out and about Wrong You need to have a network connection to use this app at all which makes it almost completely useless when traveling abroad        Requires a network connection

This app Is amazing it lets you type in what every senteance you want it really works helps you learn french you can save the words or sentances you want to save you cAn type in a whole song as long as you want on the internet i use things in french if i dont know what something means i use this its not like google translate it tells real french not made up french that can get u killed                 AWESOME

I bought this app for a trip to French canada and played around with it After a few minutes I noticed it crashes if you press speak it too many times     Worst app I have ever bought

I really wanted to learn French and this is perfect for it Im a fast learner so it is very easy to learn the words or sentences But even If you are a slower learner this app is great because you can change the speed of the spoken voice and even the volume This app is AMAZING And there is no limit to what you can learn because you control what you learn Just type what you do want to learn click translate then click speak and listen to the voice or read the translation Its easy and a cheap way to learn 200 is way better than 2000 4000 worth of CDs that limit your learning This app is WAY worth it              The Perfect App

This app is unbelievable I am a French teacher and I couldnt be more impressed Do keep in mind that youre still asking a machine not a human being to translate so occasionally youve got to work with it With that caveat I doubt that you could find a better translator short of having a French person in your pocket Translations are instantaneous and the voice is completely naturalsounding with a perfect French accent Helpful tip to save time hassling with the tiny keyboard dictate your longer phrases into Dragon Dictation which will turn your speech into typed text then copy and paste the resulting text into iSpeak French My first test translation was After breakfast Im going to town to do some shopping Then Im going to meet my friend for lunch I think Ill have froglegs which I adore It translated without a hitch and the spoken French was beautiful What more could you want                 Buy it now

But please make this an offline translator                 Great

Ok I just started French 101 This application is grande I am using it on my iPad2 and have had no problems getting this to work If the developers of this App read these reviews I have a wish list for you Speak it buttoncould you develop a repeat buttonx1 x2 x3 It would be easier to practice if you didnt have to keep hitting the button over and over But a repeat lets say x3 would be grande Just one more thing sil vous plait I have an iPad2 and iPhone4 Would it not be great to have them synch So the information that you save on one transfers to the other Just a thought Merci              Merveilleux

This app is faulty and has not worked weeks and deathly silence from this company I purchased both French and German It works with one translation then says error connecting It is useless I have place many comments on their Facebook page and no response I am waiting for a full refund Do not buy this Save your money     Do not waste you money

Ok so this app IS great but with the 30 OS the app crashes after every translation However you can hear the speaker through external speaker An update would be great           Update please

I cant get this app to work at all It never translates English into French There are no tutorials I own over 100 apps and this is the only one that Im having trouble with     I must be stupid

I just copy a franch lyric from Internet and past it on this app I was very upset the translation You know what this app didnt translate and shown me the same thing that I pasted Rip off     Useless
