I have been using this app for last 3 years and it has been awesome Viewer with the newest update I can t use it anymore The app still sees the console but it says the remote is disconnected Tried to delete it and create a new one obviously with the same console name since everything is the same plus the regular updates on council iPhone and the app itself Does anyone has similar problem or does is know how to fix this remote discovered Thanks     Now is not working MilosStevan

This is the update I have been waiting for The refreshed look is much better and the only part that still looks dated is the low resolution lcd display The only two features I would really love to see is the ability to apply effects and also to choose gels in the color picker for patched LEDs instead of just getting a color wheel                     Amazing update SAHAKA

I ve always loved this app but it needs to be updated when the console software is updated There are a lot of qualities of this app that are great but I want to see the new capabilities of the current software be matched by this mobile solution It s been a while since I ve seen a major update yet the console has grown significantly             Much needed update Offenhoffer

This was a very helpful app when I first got it but now it will only work on my mk1 iPad and iPod Connection to my iPhone and mk3 iPad are impossible don t even bother you ll waste less time simply hauling your console to FOH Yes I know the proceeds go to a good charity but for 50 this app needs better attention than its getting For modern current mobile devices I CAN NOT RECOMMEND Even at its best WiFi set up is FAR too complicated     Needs serious overhaul X Head

This app has saved me hours from running back and forth to the board It also allows me to record cues in the house without moving the board down The only downfall is that it hasn t been updated since the iPhone 4 and we have now reached the iPhone 6 The app still hasn t been updated for a bigger screen I hope that happens sometime in the future It is really annoying because I spent 50 on this app and it is not 50 app quality             Amazing but needs an update Hamilton Family

This app is dynamite Now I always have a focus remote with me Yes I lose connection traveling through back hallways but the same thing happens with the ETC RFR I couldn t be happier Considering that money goes to a good charity it s the best money I ve ever spent on an app                     Why did I wait so long to buy it Spar10

I have been using this app for several years and have been thrilled with its functionality It is a tremendous savings over a traditional RFR and is extremely capable with the ability to patch and park When I combine it with a VPN it has even saved me several trips back to the theatre as I make minor tweaks from my phone This app is a must have for anyone with an Eos family console                     Capable and Convenient MySagona

Very easy to set up easy to operate and insanely fast response time no lag at all Only reason for a 4 5 rating is because every time I go to build a cue I type in the address of the next light and it clears the previous one help Would love to see the patch and record cue option in the next release                 A must have TheElCaminoKid

I would love to see functionality move more towards virtual screens to flip between what would be the Tabs on the EOS and a virtual keyboard than this type of mimicking of the remote focus unit With an IPad the touch screen capability could open up more possibilities for editing submasters palettes etc the app feels a bit limited for what I need it to do             Could use more functionality Cohopido

I seem to get a lot of network timeouts and disconnections both on my iPad and iPhone and then it won t allow me to reconnect until some unspecified time after please fix this app is so awesome if only this problem could be fixed it used to work like a charm when I first had it                 love the app and use it a lot but wukrza

Love the app has been very useful for the application it s used in We use the app with an ion console mostly used for playback of cues The newest update has been problematic its slow has a hard time connecting to the console via wifi when connected it has a very obvious delay when playback is used which causes cue jumps which can be a nightmare when using in any production Also will drop the connection in the middle of playback Thought this could be a problem with my wifi after checking into it the only changes have been the update of the app Thank you hopefully these issues can be remedied soon         New update slow taylornic_bcc

For a combined cost of about 350 for an ipod touch wireless router and this app you can have a full function RFR device For that reason alone I d buy it again in a heart beat Add an iPad which allows for notes to be taken on individual cues and you ve got a great system But there are some issues and improvements that need to be made The device often disconnects from the console Some days it will last for hours with no problem some days it will disconnect about every minute and yes I pulled out a stop watch This is a more of a pain if you re in the Cue List or Playback screens as the button to return to the Welcome screen will vanish and a force close is required Most of the time it s mearly an annoyance In Cue List and Playback the timing column is almost useless It displays only the overall cue duration including any delays not the split up down time This makes it very difficult to take accurate notes during tech about timing issues On the plus side the moving light pan tilt control is wonderful and usually more accurate and less frustrating than the virtual moving light control on the Element I have iPod Touches equiped with iRFR and Lightwright Touch in the hands of both of my electricians and will never regret this decision They now have everything they need for preshow checks and trouble shooting in their pockets instead of a 3 ring binder and RFR device clipped to a belt                 Issues but good overall barterelectrics

You know I miss my old remote focus unit The one with the hardwired cord and the hidden power switch on the side The radio remote focus unit was nice but limited When ETC announced this app I downloaded it as soon as I could and I haven t looked back iRFR is an excellent cross between a fully functional console remote and encoder list and a designer s note pad I highly recommend anyone who has a compatible desk make the investment                     Excellent addition for ETC users JHathcock

I really like the playback functionality with the new version Makes doing remote playback so much easier than lugging the ION console down the steps The only thing I wish it had was away to do the Go To Cue Out command That would be spectacular                 Only thing I wish it had Stech2

I ve has the app since August and have used it on several productions with my Ion My major complaint is that it looks and acts the same as the actual RFR I hate having to constantly change modes to accomplish anything and I agree with the earlier reviewer that the ability to turn on lights by address dimmer is a huge oversight Battery life is okay much better with my 3G iPod Touch than my old 1G All all a good app and useful addition to the ETC lineup                 Works like the real RFR Franckness

The app does a good job at what it should it works as a remote for the latest ETC consoles I tested on an EOS and could control it just fine A few qualms but nothing major I d like to see a dimmer button to turn on individual dimmers as well as the possibility for future additions beyond the standard RFR capability The only problem I had was that I had to read the manual to figure out what the password was It turns out it s the console name but ETC can you please make theat more clear in the app itself Otherwise it s a great product and I m proud to own it and support Behind the Scenes                 Works as expected some setup required BSKSurfer
