The iPray app was developed by users of the traditional Book of Common Prayer who desired an easy-to-use application of prayer book worship. iPray simplifies negotiating Scripture readings and the appropriate daily prayers following the ...
Great So easy to use Never had any glitches                     Love it Joshiearnp2008
As a clergyman priest this traditional BCP App is a true help in helping me with reading the Offices Daily if I am not at the parish and Christ s altar Don t change please                 This is so far my best App JGC+
Like the app but found minor errors Went to app support to report but found a nonfunctional website with a static blog post with random cut and paste text instead                 Good App no App support VirginiaJim1776
The 1662 and other source choices are amazing Great design simple clean easy                     Well designed great choices Jkrulish
The app is amazing I been looking for an app that holds to the official liturgy of the Anglican Church the 1662 book of common prayer and I found it here Not only does this app take me through morning and evening prayer but also it takes me through the church calendar and automatically updates the collects of the day in MP and EP The app also explains what the holy days are I notice that there is even a compline and mid day prayer that is not found in the 1662 but that s okay The app is amazing and a great help Thank you The only issue I would take would be the images of Christ since they go against our confession of faith in the 39 articles Other then that I have no complaints If I could suggest anything it would be great to have the litany of the 1662 in there as well as the 39 articles and catechism The app is already amazing but it would be even way more amazing with those extra things                     Traditional and amazing Reformed Sith
I was looking for an app to follow along with the lectionary and I was intrigued by the art piece associated I wish the art credit was included         I like the idea dennis922
I like this app a lot To make it better could be to make the aesthetics of the interface better in some way Also the transcription seems to have some errors and it would be nice to fix those up                 Good but could be better Code: Fro
Overall a good app I like that it has the scriptures and prayers at your fingertips I would have like to see something that allows me to switch from rite 1 to rite 2 when I would like Maybe even give me a choice of bible version Also it would be good to add prayers and thanksgivings from the back of the BCP             Good mlehm
Psalm 95 in the morning office is not the version that appears in my 1662 prayer book We are the sheep of his hand not his hands a typo I m sure But later my version says they are a people that do err in their hearts for they have not known my ways This is quite different from the version given in the app Psalm 106 refers to the reed sea This may well be the correct translation but it is anachronistic and certainly not Coverdale I am constantly finding more and more errors in the psalm texts Whatever version this is it isn t Coverdale and should not be marketed as such         Good resource but flawed Leguleius
I have had the iPray app on my iPhone since its inception The main thing I like about iPray is that I can read the daily offices no matter where I am This is great when I cannot find time to attend a service at church All of us are called to say the Daily Office daily Here s a way to do that even on the run                     IPray Dr. Meanie
One of my fave apps Helpful in prayer                     I love it Pixie piper
This is one of my favorite apps Each time you open the app you arrive at the readings for that day and that time of day For each day there are readings including prayers Psalms lessons songs and the collect for morning midday evening and compline A simple sideways swipe turns to the next item in the appointed sequence so it is very easy to use I would like it even better if it had audio as it would be nice to hear the prayers and readings aloud As soon as that is added I ll be back to give it a five star review                 Well done app for daily use jcwords
This is a great app when used for its purpose IPray BCP is for individual daily devotion using the BCP liturgies scriptures and prayers What a wonderful way embrace classic daily worship The app includes the liturgical calendar It automatically opens the four offices for the day or you can choose another day The app itself works fine and is easy to use One of my favorite apps I use it at least twice a day                 Nice App BoscoH2o
This app is very disappointing Save your money It is not the full BCP It has one order of the day but no prayers no orders that appear in the current BCP no collects no readings no actual relevancy to the Anglican Church It s as if someone wanted to make up a liturgical system for people not used to one I m horrified a Christian would rip off fellow Christians in this way The seller should be ashamed     How disappointing EllenSt1204
I would like to see the app be able to detect the iPad s orientation at start up and change it s orientation accordingly The app always starts in portrait mode even when the iPad is in landscape mode and it will only switch to landscape mode if the user moves the iPad to portrait mode and back again Other than that great app                 Detecting iPad orientation Tempo Doeloe II
Glad to see the iPad version thanks You all have given a great service to those of us who love classical Anglican cycles of prayer The presentation is helpful in its layout and automatic selection of lessons Thanks for your good work in this I would be even happier with more options among the Anglican liturgies and perhaps for Bible versions and lectionaries Good work Blessings Geoff Chapman                 G Chapman Geoff Chapman
This comprehensive app makes it so much easier to practice the historic and conservative Anglican daily office The new update makes it handier in these ways 1 split up the screens so there is less text to scroll down 2 allow screen to remain in last viewed place after turning it to landscape mode and back 3 fixed landscape view so it actually scrolls need to use two finger swipe which is a bit cumbersome But still hoping for some more user friendly changes in the next update such as a table of contents to access the whole BCP Keep up the good work                 More useful Vessoul1
I ve always loved BCP but all that page turning finding the day s entries was distracting Now I use it every day this app lays out the day s readings and prayers without any effort so I can focus on praying instead of the mechanics                     Now I can use the Book of Common Prayer SpringVRoad
I love it when reviewers say they have been looking for an app for years really have apps even been around that long This thing is too precious and anachronistic This is simply trying to be cute by using old instead of best I am a 28 BCP guy and there were a lot of good reasons for that revision of this option they used in this app so why use this version when there are ones whose scripture lessons have you reading more widely through the bible There are simply better apps out their this one isn t even iPad specific As an Anglican priest I can tell you this is not the app you want to be using and why pay when better is free     Precious GraceRector
The content is excellent and I like the organization of the offices The only downside is that a large portion of the screen is used by the menu leaving a post it sized area for the bcp text If the menus were hidden it would allow more room for the text             Content great needs more room grumpypundit
As a cradle Episcopalian this app just makes me happy The BCP is such an important part of my world and to have such an easy to use version for my iPhone and iPad truly is a joy Many thanks to those who took the time to develop this app                     This just makes me happy SELocker
This is a GREAT app I ve been looking for something like this for years Good job I hope to see a similar version someday when the new Ordinariate liturgy is finalized by Rome                     Fantastic CrossingTheTiber
Great job Psalter and scripture seamlessly worked into offices Nice that you added the Thanksgiving for Morning and Evening offices Charming compromise on Lords Prayer Superb Than you                     Flawless jdog43
Ditto reviewer who noted prayers and collects seemed to be missing also the appropriate antiphons and canticles I have 79 version of BCP on computer seems to be some discrepancies with daily readings Like the idea hope developer continues to improve the app             Nice idea but a little disappointing bobbaloo386
Seems to be missing prayers and collects Otherwise nicely done             Nice app but missing prayers Mark G.
Thank you for making this app It will be among my most used every day Fabulous job I love the art especially                     Amazing BaylorBearInOKC

The daily offices ability to jump to a date are a nice feature for updates it would also be nice to have a table of contents and occasional services as well matrimony funeral etc on the app for the price Thanks for developing it              Nice Daily Offices

This app clearly had a lot of thought behind it Love having this information easily with me at all times                 Awesome
There is a saying in Zen to the effect that every moment is the universe One need not fly to far eastern spiritual practices in order to be present to oneself and to world around us However this wisdom is something we Christians share with other traditions Anyway what better way than the discipline of daily prayer is there for a Christian to consecrate time and grow closer to Christ The beauty of the BCP transcends any difficulty one might have with the archaic yet elegant language used herein The Spirit speaks peaceably through this liturgy of the word and prayer My response is gratitude to the people who have made this available for the iPhone Blessings                 Being time
