Interval Ear Training is a fun, simple, and free way to learn musical intervals by ear. "Love it, almost perfect, for no money" -Somenobody (Singapore) Developed by Berklee College of Music alum Brian Schachter, this app is ideal ...
I feel obliged to write a review because it serves the purpose really well although user interface could be improved Also it d be nice if there is an option to disable unison among all the intervals because it s so annoying Very good Dr.DLL
Great app Simple easy to use and has everything you need Great app Lil Homey Tea
I have let s put it kindly a shaky sense of pitch I loaded this app on my phone earlier this week and have played roughly a thousand reps since then I went from a little over 50 accuracy at the outset to a cumulative score of app 65 during that time I m not sure if you can rest the counter to score individual sessions This morning I loaded the app on my iPad and played 100 reps for a score of 87 I don t know how happy that would make you but this was a complete home run for me If I can make this improvement anyone can As highly recommended as any app I ve used Incredibly effective hearye
It should have an option that turns off highlighting the first note Too easy Laryngitis 647
This app will challenge your skill sets masterfully I did not realize how much I ve forgotten no worries this app is teaching the clarity I want Strongly recommend for those in need of a good brush up Challenging and fun Diamond Poppy
Very ez and good Funz gooopta
It s a nifty app It tells you what the interval is when you put your response It is a helpful way to learn how intervals sound like in the key of C If you want more keys and options you will need to upgrade Good practice c_andre
Very straightforward and very easy to use Thank you for making this Great John Swiftly
Exactly what you expect from it Good interval practice and musical ear training I recommend moving around the keys a lot so you don t get too comfortable in one spot Simple and Fun Gjsnsjdjdkdk
Works well and I am definitely improving Would be better if only continue or play and not both had to be touched to go to next sequence Great app Canoesailor
Fun and challenging A very helpful app thank you Challenging Caddichris
Free no ads Thanks to developer hope this method works to learn intervals but the app works well Well done Cesco Runi
This app doesn t do much but it does it fairly well Very useful for developing your ear Simple but useful TMasciola
Could have more feature but it s got the necessities Solid Csw1322
Thoughtfully crafted simple and reinforcement learning techniques Nice Cedarface
I love that you can extend the potential range of the interval and that you can shift the area you are working on up and down the keyboard I wish that you had the option to move it into other keys or even make it chromatic All possible intervals are available within the diatonic scale but this can train your ear to simply hear the intervals within the realm of a fixed do Great start Saxophone Dan
This app is very simple to use isn t flooded with ads has an adjustable range nice sound quality and is overall a great app for anyone looking to ear train themselves Simple Practical Lizzybb4ever

I got this app to improve my sense of relative pitch and it is helpful fun and addictive My only suggestion to improve it would be to enable other keys besides C major Helpful karenbassoon
I tried a few other apps and frankly i found something special in each one I like this one because its simple effective sounds good I like the visual of the keyboard Theres not really too much to say because it is so straight forward and simple I just want to say thank you to the developers for taking the time to create a nice app thats easy to use By the way the images are a good size so easy to read I think anyone that tries this will benefit from it Like i said i have tried others and still use them but this seems like my go to app Enjoy Really nice Bonfan

Pretty good program I would like the developer to change the program so that you don t have to hit OK to the feedback pop up and then hit play to get the next interval One click would be fine Pretty good RatherBeMountainBiking

I m getting better so this is not only fun but educational Thanks to the developer Simple and very good PureJadeKid
This app is great and is helping me so much with the class I m currently taking however the way the test is I m sure for specific cases for many people does not include all the intervals going up and down For example it would be more than amazing if we could choose the intervals we want to practice in a random order and choose if we want to go up or down or both Not only for my case but this would help other people who are struggling with more specific intervals Great app just a few added options Follower hungry

Good app Good Nevermind44
I think this app is a very good starting point in interval drilling Being free I would not expect revisions and I think there is a pay version that probably has more features Two things I hope it has are wider range and timed drills Still I have gotten excellent practice with this app Good Start Wood and Wire Music
I have been using the Lite free version It s simple and a perfect starting point for me For years I have been looking for a tool like this to fine tune my ears Naturally after I master the major notes of this octave maybe I ll upgrade or look for advanced help But for now this app is the just the right challenge I need Great starting point WHOwl860
All together a boring app Not worth downloading Terrible Electric_Sheep
It just teaches you to memorize the notes in that octave really if you want good interval training go to musictheorynet Not worth it
So its free Barely worth complaining about quality or concept simply because of that But a statement in the devs description Much more useful than the traditional solfege method doesnt say WHO said that is almost maliciously silly misleading and selfserving at best A bland little app flying in the face of many decades of musical education thought research practice and proven results A Berklee graduate So his credentials his expertise GETS his credentials and credibility from a school that has solfege at the core of its ear training curriculum And now hes set to replace functional tonal understanding of melody extending to the further detriment of functional harmony with this app Please Do whatever you want in your free time but dont use a free app to mislead those who cant possibly know better Please misleading waste even if free
