One of the coolest features is that if I ansentmindedly switch to another app my note is still there intact and signed when I come back to Insight Notes Perhaps a Save button would be a comfort feature but this app works                 Awesome

This is the easiest most professional looking progress notes program I have ever used and each new version gets better and better With the in app back up I can quickly and securely save my notes And with the latest version I can print out my notes from my iPad wirelessly to my printer Highly recommended                 Great

have been looking for an easy to use note taking program that is secure enough for a therapist to use I enjoy the flexibility of using the progress note template or typing or writing freehand And when my IPad was not at had I used the scanning feature to scan the notes I had taken and the notes were entered in the patients file where I needed them to be Being able to backup to a portable USB drive has been a huge time save and it allows me to have a back up set of notes away from the IPad just in case the IPad is lost or damaged The entire process and app is great                 Great Tool

Highly recommended Three of my suitemates have this app and encouraged me to try it because I sometimes get behind on my progress notes Its a perfect app for the job Im doing my notes in about half the time I used to The templates feature is a huge timesaver I ended up buying the backup subscription which is one of the cheapest HIPAAcompliant services Ive seen                 Incredibly easy notes

In my practice I have interns I bought iPads so we could all write notes individually but when I attempted to use the backup so It can all be in one place it didnt allow it Would you consider the app for larger groups even if it costs more for the backups That would be GRREAAT           The app could use improvement

To update my previous review there is a new feature that allows us to construct a template for supervision sessions which is very helpful My supervisor has a form that she has made and I carry around with me so that I can refer to her notes when in session if necessary We have been using this at my postdoc site and it has saved us from having to transport paper notes to and from supervision Its cheaper and faster and more portable than taking a laptop or file boxes everywhere The backup subscription isnt necessary if you just want to print out your notes but its definitely worth it                 So much better than carrying around a file box

Once a note has been generated there is no way to print the note to an air printer Once a note has been generated there is no way to save the note and make use of it or Share it without an additional 15 per month subscription to the Apple cloud     Total crap

This app is very easy to use Simple and effective There are 4 things missing which would make this app GREAT 1 Folders to organize closed and open client files and ability to move files between them 2 Ability to create own document template 3 Ability to import saved picturesscans 4 Ability to deletechange a date once entered              Good but missing a few things

Though the app cost nine dollars that is only the beginning To do anything with this app will cost With a volume of note taking it could be costly Explore extensively before committing     Disappointed

Updating my previous review Before I started using Insight Notes I was using a hodgepodge of apps and word processing programs I switched to this app and I havent looked back since Its also one of the cheapest HIPAA compliant backups Ive seen Quite honestly the most difficult thing for me was deciding whether or not to get the backup subscription This turned out to be an easy call because it reduced all of my backups to a single button Before this I was doing my backups piecemeal and it took a lot longer The amount of time I save is a lot more valuable than the subscription fee which is practically nothing in the grand scheme of things Once you get used to hitting one button its hard to go back to what I was doing before which was navigating through different file directories and saving to individual client folders The custom templates feature is very helpful I have some notes I frequently write which tend to be similar so I made some templates with the basics prefilled and that has also been a huge help I export my entire notes database to myself on a weekly basis I like having a copy of my notes at home too The app makes it very easy to do that I can export about 600 different notes in 2 different batches This takes less than three minutes and I like having another copy in my own backup just in case For my practice this app has been extremely helpful Highly recommended                 Worthwhile and saves time

Im using this app to keep track of notes from meetings by business owner Im not super organized so the app is doing that for me The app is easy to use Backup feature is handy Recommended Update scanning feature is really useful and saves time especially in meetings when theres drawings or whiteboard brainstorming                 Really handy app

I use this everyday It is very simple and I no longer need to carry my laptop around with me This is the only HIPAA compliant notes app that I have found I love the ability to make my own templates Definitely recommend                 Love This

Ive been very happy with the app and it suits my needs very well There are some functionalities Id like to see in future releases a way to archive closed clients perhaps a design your own template function and a way of quickly capturing color images for sand trayplayart therapists That said the developers are super open to feedback and go above and beyond to follow up about suggestions problems usability etc which is a breath of fresh air I contacted them about an issue that turned out to be a user error and they were really wonderful about it Im a therapist and I dont know if I would have been as understanding with me as they were So I am eagerly looking forward to future updates and apps from this developer                 Good progress note app awesome developers

I bought this app tried using it and discovered that I need a 1499 monthly fee to use it Not impressed Not pleased     Rip off

We have been using this at my postdoc site Three of us have iPads and we have been using this app to transport our notes between the clinic sites and supervision When we arrive our supervisor signs off on our notes and either prints them out or asks us to send them to the clinic secretary This works out very well I can see where I would use this in my future private practice Its inexpensive enough that it makes it easily worthwhile For now Im just glad I dont have to carry around that file box any moreone less thing to haul around                 Worthwhile

Some nice features but only useful with monthly subscription which I refuse to get involved with Would keep HIPAA responsibility andor pay more for App for autonomy over work product        NO SUBSCRIPTIONS

This app has been a gamechanger for me Its easy to use and so secure I really like the draw feature it acts like a virtual pen and paper except its better protected and organized                 Very useful

1 Templates are very scarce and just present a list of topics 2 In app purchase is not a one time or even annual fee It is a monthly fee for backup service 3 If you do not subscribe to backup service you cannot export your notes 4 The only way to share them is to print them to an AirPrint printer If you need to backup your notes without subscribing you will have to scan the notes to wherever you want to backup to     Know before you buy

This app is the perfect way to write retrieve and share my documents on the go With three different offices Insightnotes gives me an easy HIPAAcompliant way to run my practice The backup service is definitely worth it Updates have made the app even better Wireless printing is wonderful                 Great for practitioners on the move
