Im giving this an initial 5 stars because this is the first cheap app non full featured that displays data from AHRS though I have not yet tried Im actually hoping to use this for just the heading and altitude and I would like to see the attitude indictor removed when AHRS is not present The red X is too distracting not sure yet
For the money once you get the ahars unit ou have a complete backup instrument panel I have my iPhone mounted in a charging dock on a ram mount on the copilot side mounted to the glare shield Was strange to have it on the yoke Since I often fly with other pilots they have an easy to see instrument pack and in the worst situation I have another instrument to back up all others For under 1000 Where else are you going to get that Fantastic app
Loaded App to my iPhone 4S and iPad2 Havent flow with it yet but took it out for a test drive in my car Since I dont have a AHRS unit yet I set the options for Speed and Altitude and Compass Heading to GPS Without an AHRS unit you wont get Turn and Bank information either BUT EVERYTHING ELSE worked fine I plan to use it to compliment my WingX and WingX Pro 7 airplane navigation system iHUD Remote
I bought this in anticipation of adding Levils mini unit to WingX Pro7 and thought this might add some functionality it just doesnt work in its present state of development A total waste of money A JUNK program
