If you are iPhone and iPad owner,you now can download iBookshelf Lite for free from Apple Store. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new iBookshelf Lite app version 2.11.5 has been updated on 2014-11-19. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. This app is extremely buggy First thing I noticed was the difficulty in deleting the books loaded into library from install It worked first time and I had to restart to delete a second book Next I noticed that the Auto flash doesn t work Then I noticed after saving a scanned book it takes you to a blank entry and if you click save it says the form is empty If you click delete it deletes your previous entry so the only way to get back is to click the library After loading several books it kept duplicating the cover images on several books Refresh and it just jumbled up which ones were duplicates This app needs a lot of work before it ll be worth having even if free let alone paid for Oh and there were the full screen ads that popped up nearly continuously     VERY Buggy BiggDaddy806

I am loving this app so far I am a preschool teacher and have tons of books 4 bookshelves full I needed an app that could organize my books by many different themes This app does it in the way of collections It s fantastic If I m looking for some farm books for example I pull up my farm collection and all the books are there I d like to see this feature move to the bottom bar or even replace the read option but I know that s for other users I ve encountered a couple bugs and some ads that I can t figure out how to close but they disappear after it redirects me to another page So I just double click and go back to the app I ve loaded about 300 books so far and have a ways to go but am extremely impressed by how well that scanner works I can scan 10 books at a time and then save them all in one by one One suggestion on this part is when loading the scanned bar codes I wish it didn t ask to continue loading the scanned codes in between each book Maybe a button to click yes to all Overall very happy to find what I ve needed for so long                     So excited fataleyes00

I downloaded the Lite version to see if I liked this one to replace another that limited the number of times you could use the scanner and I apparently reached my limit for the number of books I could add without paying more money I was able to launch iBookshelf Lite a couple of times and get a couple of books loaded when the adds started Now because of poor placement of the x to close the add this app has become unusable Oh well on to the next             Had possibilities powzon

Looking for a way to keep track of books Downloaded free version which supposedly is a full version with some ads Thought if I liked it I d pay to get rid of ads However when I open the app I have a huge picture of Mariah Carey staring out at me There is no way to get rid of it I can t say if the app would be good because nothing works Press any button and I m directed to a survey over and over again So far it s been useless Don t know how it can claim to be a top app I appear to be the first to write a review     Just BAD 28monty28

This app just set a record for being on my iPhone shorter than any other app I have tried I have been trying to find a book cataloging app that met my needs and thought I would try this My mistake Launched the app and was met with full page ad Dismissed that and clicked on one of the sample books in the library and got the same full page ad Dismissed it again clicked on another sample book and yet again got the same full page app Deleted the app Total time on my phone less than a minute Not worth the frustration to even try it     Won t even try JLTOIII

The pop up ads in this lite version are so aggressive I can t get them out of the way to even get to see the app ensuring a fast delete and making the pay version one I ll never get since I never had a chance to test out the lite version The need for income understandable the method to try and get it from the lite works solidly against ever selling the full version     Impossible Dadparatresninos

Glad to have tried the lite version first Some bugs When loading books manually you can t enter the ISBN and have it search the online database and populate the rest of the fields What does the import data option do then Barcode scanning on paperback books with ISBN starting with 7 all returned the wrong book from the database search Some books load with missing or wrong cover Cover Image Options Camera photo library does nothing or crashes the app Using the Actions Places to buy this book lists vendors but does not hot link to the vendors website directly I might as well search the book directly in Google or Amazon Hope these get addressed and the app would be useful and worth purchasing Which is a must because the ads are super annoying I saw no contact link to report bugs request features If ISBN reader doesn t work try a different one in the settings that helped         Almost good Arash4

Crashes books added come disappear reappear double suddenly end up in the wrong category until you change page then back again and when trying to delete the books that randomly double on your shelves constantly the app freezes and needs to shut down and reloaded Also the scanner is buggy Fix the bugs and by far my fave out of all It is a simple and very pleasing to the eye and keeping organized so PLEASE fix the bugs Happy I tried the free version first Hope updates fix the prob and I ll buy this and dump the others         Best interface of 4 apps tested but Melissa I

I have not been impressed with either this lite version or the paid one of this app It continually crashes often losing all data It has poor search capabilities inaccurate barcode scanning on the paid version only since the developer is too greedy to offer that feature on his free version and overall poor performance and memory issues I suggest finding other book database apps that be more stable I found the replacement to this by Googling book database app and Fox News     Not Recommended Look Elsewhere Boardfrq

I was looking for an application that I could use to scan my personal library with my iPhone 3 It does a pretty good job and has the fields that are important to me The scanning works pretty good better than some of the other applications I test drived befor purchasing the full version of this app                 Good skunk_box

This is a really great app because if you have a book at home you can just scan the barcode wityhout buying the book But if you are like me I do not have wifi at my house which you need it when you scan the barcode Over all this app is great and free and it all ready has some books on it I would really incurage people to buy this app                     Great App PrincessEm8

This program is great and works well with my large inventory of books this app has saved me a time or two of rebuying the same book over or loosing my book when loaning it to a friend I m definatly buying the full version when funds become avalable The other apps claim that they are better but this one doesn t have that load time issue of timing out or crashing And if it does the creator is friendly and efficent at repairing the issue quickly I wouldnt go anywhere else                     Absolutly Perfect DelilahLane

This was so easy to use it was refreshing I do have an ongoing booklist I share with three other friends I wish there was a way we could all buy the app but have a login of sorts so we could all contribute to our list of reads for our bookclub That way if suzy adds a book then next time mary opens the app and logins in with our shared password THERE IT IS the book suzy added Thanks for a SUPERB app as it stands though Going to go buy the full version by the way those 3 books are just examples people Swipe to delete and click new to add your own If you use the find button it goes out and gets your info for you play with it awhile                     Great way to store my reads MominNeed

I m a big library user but have a fair amount if difficulty remembering the titles authors is beyond me I feel stupid trying to tell people about this fabulous book I ve read I m loving my record if books I ve read The only downside so far is that the app doesn t remind you to save So I can add all the details of a book and unless I remember to hit the little save button before going back to the main screen I lose it all I d also like some date order so I could see when I d read books I will be buying the paid version                 Looking forward to having a record of books I ve read rpar003

I would expect a free version of an app to have limited functionality but still have some usefulness The lite version only allows you to enter 5 book titles Not very useful It would be more commercially honest to brand this version as a free demo     Should be called demo OldFiddler

This app is great Bought the full version and works like a charm The scanner upgrade is slick Worth the 99 cents extra It is concise and imports all the data you need from the isbn database for free Other programs like book crawler does not import genre which is key to sorting books You have to do that manually with book Crawler Ibookshelf is automatic and still let s you change it if you want                     Revised review Max Rebos
