I bought this app an update ago and then I updated thinking it was a good idea NOPE It stopped working and it freezes and crashes at the start of the app please fix this I was just starting to enjoy this app           WONT WORK

Never got to a lesson This man likes to TALK And talk and talk And talk and talk He then talks and talks I got so bored before I ever got to any instruction after clicking various videos of Talking Cut to the chase We dont all have time to waste and high speed connections to listen to you ramble on about nothing Downloaded app to learn to draw We know we can use pencil and paper or Wacom We dont care if you later make a series on painting My god man Shut up and teach Deleting it now Get the other How to draw No exclamation point in the name Much better lesson started instantly Free     Tried it

The teacher introduces things slowly but he teaches you the basic ideas and techniques missing from the numerous other how to draw apps There is a ton of content in the basic lesson set But Id still like to see more additions in areas like landscapes and animals The application does not provide the option to draw in the app during the lesson nor in app exercises to reinforce the lessons But there are many other apps that provide this Beginners should try Draw This App for practice with geometric shapes and basic face details or the I Luv Drawing series for fun simple figures based on basic it geometric shapes I Luv Drawing People is good while you are still working on geometric shapes and basic movement Lessons and exercises build off of each other and get more sophisticated as you progress And I have come to appreciate having to use a pencil and paper during the lessons The lessons are worth many times the small fee for the application Just look at the price of buying a book that covers similar material                 Best beginner lessons in App Store

I really enjoyed using How to Draw even though they use cartoon characters to teach you the basics Since the app covers all types of basic drawing preparation like choosing materials and holding your pencil it really gives you what you need to learn other types of drawing My drawings didnt turn out as good as the examples the instructor made but I did see improvement as I followed the lessons I think this app is mostly aimed at kids and the parents of children It would be nice for the company to offer a version of this app that is for adults I do find it encouraging that they add more drawing lessons on a regular basis This makes it worth the cost of the app If it just had the few lessons that it first started with it wouldnt be worth the price              Drawing Spongebob

The videos wont completely play all the way through The buffer is loaded but after 1 minute of play it freezes the picture but the video progress cursor keeps moving Lousy support too     Poor

Learn to Draws strength is that fact that it understands that drawing is something that both children and adults love to do and strives to teach it in a way that will interest both The teacher has a manner and style that will entertain children but also clearly knows what hes talking about and will earn the respect of adults Learn to Draw covers the basics of drawing starting with how to hold a pencil and goes on to teach how to draw many a cartoon character Also the fact that it promises to add new lessons is an extremely attractive feature of this app The layout is also children friendly and they should have no trouble using it It might be nice if Mahalo released a Learn to Draw app not focuses on drawing cartoons but this app is definitely a good buy              Great and I look forward to more content

So much content And the instructor Kenny O is so encouraging and funny A must for SpongeBob fans but the lessons here could really be used to draw anything I have no drawing experience and I got a lot out of this but I think it would be good for all skill levels                 Comprehensive and fun

For 99 cents I think this is a great app The iPad sits perfectly on the desk to the side as you pay attention to the details to your creation The skill set is great for aspiring artist who might want to this professionally The app teaches you the basics which one could take and apply to other areas of artistic work Really enjoyed it Would of been much cooler if I could interact and trace the steps but seeing how this is from the creators of Learn Guitar and Pilates it stays true to design and offers a great skill set through high quality movies Dont think that this app is interactive but rather a tutorial of how to 4 out of 5              Nice App for artist

Im absolutely terrible at drawing I gave up a long time ago back in middle school However I actually found the 7 intro videos in this app very useful It will take me some time but Im sure at some point Ill be able to move onto all the other more advanced chapters                 Great for beginners like me

This is a decent app and it teaches sound principles but the app previews make you think youre going to get a more interactive experience Good lessons but for kids it should be more geared towards them and more interactive for the money spent           Thought Id get to draw

I can draw Spongebob Squarepants characters and houses like a pro as well as the main characters from Lion King Its stupid that I have to pay for all three chapters seperately though If you want to draw cartoon characters the USA or Christmas characters this is the app for you Its my favorite              Great app

Back when I was a kid I used to draw those Draw Me characters found all over the place but I found them mostly on my dads match book covers I actually got fairly good at drawing them exactly as they were only larger At any rate I stopped drawing when I took up the drums because of the importance of practice there was no more time for drawing Today finding this app for free through Free App Reports daily free downloads go DL that app now too was especially meaningful to me as now I can go back and learn the techniques of a good artist and hopefully pick my drawingpainting one day back up and like the man says in the first Chapters movie download For those of you that are complaining learn to spell and and maybe learn how to use your iPhone before coming on here and complaining Also if you must complain anyway please tell the DEV what phone you have and existing conditions when the app didnt work so if it is valid they can fix it for you Again thank you so much                 A great beginner

We have an 8 year old niece that comes over a few times a week to play and when our children are napping she loves to play the iPad She also loves Spongebob so this was a great app for her to try out My husband is a middle school art teacher so we are a very creative family if you will with a lot of drive to test out our creativity This app was easy to navigate and understand was clearly labeled and fun The downfall was that it did hang up a lot when trying to view the videos There were times when we would have to get out of the app and reenter it in order to continue to watch the videos 999 was a little expensive for the content as you can buy art books that teach similar things for about 4 to 5 although it is helpful to have somebody talking you through the steps If the hanging up could be fixed it would have been easier to follow              Creative family

This app is awesome my only reason for knocking it down to 4 stars is that within the first line of the description is sounds very kidoriented Not so much the case in my opinion Although the app is very helpful in teaching how to draw some popular characters it seems the teaching is more oriented towards older kids teenagers and even adults Kids need more interaction as they are learning and even so this app is just a step above what I think most under 12 are capable of We still really enjoyed this app got it just in time for halloween and tried to draw some of the stuff straight onto our pumpkins              Not for kids
