Great app with plenty of potential just needs a few things to make it functional 1 when making custom list able to select range of words at one time in ranges of 50 or 100 words ex Choose 1 100 or 200 250 etc 2 in the practice all words category able to choose range Ex Words 1 250 etc This would allow for random button to travel just within that range of words 3 basic proofreading Some of the English and Hebrew words have spelling mistakes See Hebrew word for year for instance This app could be the go to app for Hebrew students but until these basic things are accomplished I won t be able to recommend it to my students Thanks and good luck Aaron N         Nice app but needs some basic things flying16arows

Agree that more customization would be nice I d also like at a minimum phonetic pronunciation written out along with meaning Lastly and this is a nit it was very unclear where to press to reveal the meaning empty whitespace wasn t intuitive After i figured it out it was cake Maybe a simple button would be nice Otherwise great app                 Nice SirIncredible

This is a Terrible app It crashes frequently and many of the definitions are misspelled This app misses some of the most frequently used words and doesn t include the vowels for the verbs Worst of all the developer is done working on the app and will not address any of this problems Take your money elsewhere     TerribleApp Do not buy 7shamrocks

It s a decent little app It s really nice on an iPod touch or iPhone It needs some work though It s list making function works but it needs an easier way to find the words you want to include The words in the main list are not at all random but they are ordered by the number of times they show up in the Biblical text so all you have to do is find out that number from another source such as The Vocabulary Guide to Biblical Hebrew by Van Pelt and Pratico which lists all words used 10 or more times The book give you the words ranking number that you can use to get close to the word in the main list It would be great if the ranking number appeared in the main list but alas it doesn t BUT when you re working through the cards of the main list or your own list creation the ranking number is that little number you see at the top of the card So the ranking number is there in the app already how hard can it be to show that number in the main list One caveat though different ranking lists can have slightly different counts leading to slightly different ranking numbers but the word in one list will be close to the same number in another list             Making your own lists bobbitjl

The app is overall good but basic A few of the definitions are misspelled and even translated wrongly Verbs are presented In the form of roots and translated as the simple pa al form This causes problems with many of the roots which have different definitions in other verb forms It would be helpful to have a quiz feature Overall this is a nice way to review vocab but I would not recommend it for learning             A few noticeable mistakes and needs LHClem

This is a very good app The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is because sometimes it glitches and turns off Also there are some misspellings of the English definition words But there aren t many mistakes and whenever it glitches just turn it back on and its usually fine But this is an extremely valuable app for those heading to seminary It s obviously much easier to carry around on an iPad or iPhone than a bunch of flash cards and its certainly much cheaper Furthermore you can work on vocabulary in almost any down time It has really helped me to be prepared as I jump into seminary this fall Thanks Paul Avery Now we just need a parsing app                 Love this app jPad11

Needs more words to be included and not all words have their proper vowel pointing Some words have no vowels at all This is biblical Hebrew and not modern Hebrew please update this to have the correct vowels included on all words Give us more words to word with Give more ways to customize the options for reviewing the cards If you do this I would give it 5 stars With out it I give it a 3 stars and because it costs 4 99 it should be more accurate and versatile with more words Its ok for what it has and for beginners if you don t know your vowel pointing you won t get the words that do not have vowel pointings             Please update and improve endtime truth

There is a bug when trying to open a list No instructions unexplained icons and features and no response from author to simple email questions Over 600 words and no way to find one without scrolling through as no search and not in alphabetical order Still I use it in my quest to learn biblical Hebrew             Irritating confusing frustrating but still useful thohe

Beware that this iPhone app has significant problems running on the iPad Crashes at times and word lists are not accessible Good potential when incompatibility is addressed         iPad problems ACGarland

This is a really useful app if you are learning or have learned Hebrew but it really needs an update to fix the crashing bug I kept trying to add some new vocabulary that I learned to my list and it would crash half way through making me start all over The ability to search would be nice too but the crashing needs to be fixed Thank you and God bless             UPDATE Matt--student_of_Hebrew

I enjoy the program but there is no way to serch for specific cards to create your own list If you need a specific list you have to scroll through every card to find the ones you want If they could add a search feature this would get 5 stars from me             Good product ShubN

This is the best hebrew flashcard app out there right now Contrary to what others have posted the verbs do not need vowel pointing Just supply a Qames on the first radical and a Patach on the second radical of the verbs Only way this app could be better is if it was searchable and tracked your progress                 Great App biscatod

I am a graduate student getting a degree in Jewish Studies and this app would be great to make flashcards with if I could search for specific words and then add them to a list Other than that it s fine                 Love the app but lawsonsj

It does everything that one might expect The only improvement I can think of is that the word list wouldn t searchable rather than browsing through each individual word when one wishes to locate something specific There is a common complaint amongst some of the other reviews the vowel points nikkud are found lacking on the verbs but not the nouns This however is only an issue for those who haven t learned the qatal paradigms and merely an inconvience to those who do know them To elaborate verbs like the ones that are unpointed in this app are that way for a reason there is no single way to point these verbs The points change depending on the function of the verb For example the root Quf Tet Lamed when pointed with qamets and then pathach it becomes qah TAL and can mean he it slew qal perfect 3ms But if you take that same root and point it with a vocal shewa then a holem it then becomes qe TOL which can be an infinitive meaning to slay or an imperative command meaning Kill 2ms So rather than including all of the paradigms the app simply has the roots wherein we will supply the nikkud With that all said Verbal lemmas certainly would make customers happier So maybe the team needs to update this app to include those Get the app                 Excellent program Adoniqam

Some words are still not entirely correct Example bet preposition means in by with and the name of The LORD should be translated LORD not Yahweh When making lists it is still hard to find certain words without some kind of search or Hebrew Alphabet order to the lists Another thing about making lists the words to choose from stop after the 544th word sheol and if I try and go below it with the side scroll numbers the app crashes             Still needs work SeanaHawk
