I love the feel of a real magazine so I wasnt sure about a digital art journaling one heART Journal Magazine pleasantly surprised me with being so user friendly with lots of images videos stepbystep photos and lovely links that take you right to the artists websites and more info Well done The articles are personal many in an interview type of format The examples shown in the issue are both creative and doable The artists include information on the materials they use It is especially useful for those beginning to art journal or exploring a new medium I was introduced to my first issue 8 by Bernice Hopper who wrote The Art of Practicing Gratitude and have enjoyed participating in the online art journaling groups she organizes and facilitates heART Journal Magazine
As someone just starting out in multimedia and exploring art forms other than drawing I find this a particularly helpful magazine as it has easier projects that still have very nice results Such a cool magazine
This digital magazine is a pleasure to read There are some fun topics included in the two issues I have and the photos are lovely Everything that I have looked at is inspiring Delightful

I like the format that the editors used Not only did I learn some new art but a lot about the artist A nice magazine Nicely done
Many more pages of interviews very few pages of actual instruction or help Boring Want my money back thankful I bought only 2 issues based on cover alone Because thats all you really have to go on You tube you tube you tube Interviews not inspiration

Be aware that you do not get to choose the issue you want for free The free one contains fall and christmas stuff which would be fine if it were fall or winter Free Magazine

I am new to journaling and really did not get much out of the free issues but loved Tamara at willowingorg so I bought the bundle Impressive links Nice little videos Jam packed with stuff Just love it FYI it took a long time to download but it works just fine Beautiful And informative Highly recommend Impressive
Love the format of this magazine Lots of stuff to try and lots of examples The video tutorials are great also Very inspiring Loving this Mag
I am very disappointed with the new format It is worse and made it much more difficult to navigate through the emagazine The developers should look at other emags and copy their format such as Readers Digest and Sunset magazine theirs are super good The art is bright and beautiful on my iPad but there is skimpy content Just not much there Needs improvement
The pictures and tutorials are so inspiring I love the ideas I find here and adapt them for my young kids too Inspiring

This is a fun magazine with lots of information for anyone interested in being creative I love it and wish it came out monthly The only thing that keeps me from giving it a full five stars is the quality of the editing Though I am no grammar major Im often distracted by certain articles containing misspelled words and poor grammar I happen to believe that anyone publishing a magazine owes it to the reader to ensure quality from the very first word to the very last I suspect the majority of the articles are written by the artists themselves but even then a good editor should be reviewing and editing those articles to ensure proper spelling and grammar usage Regardless I still love the magazine and I am a faithful subscriber Fun magazine

I love both art and writing While on a recent vacation I decided to download some magazines before I left port I came across heART Journal Magazine My only regret was that I didnt have more issues to look at while out to sea I love this magazine and look forward to each issue Just What I was Looking For
heART Journal magazine is well done But for those of us who are 1 Newbies 2 Used to reading a paper publication and 3 OCD it is a bit overwhelming to know wherehow to start Each issue is chockfull of ideas techniques videos and also has some freebies Carla was very very patient with me in explaining how her ezine worked when I contacted her Ive been telling people what a great resource this ezine is even though Im still finding my way Well done
