I really liked this app I hope that it is going to be updated for iOS4     Not working with iOS4
would be nice to have the search feature back for quicker IDs it was on the older version but still a good app              not bad
Works but as incident command tool Suggestion 1 on map enable enter two zone specs dynamic add a stand alone access to a map for my current situation Otherwise need to practice more                 Ff EMT
Are you ever gonna update this to the new 2012 edition Or come out with the updated 2012 app itself                 Update
I work in the safety field and in this is a great app Im looking forward to the updates Thanks                 Useful resource
Obviously the crash bug should be your main priority The two suggestions I have below are of lower priority than the crash bug In regards to the crash bug I observed the same thing as the other poster here I tried to reboot my phone to see if it helped but to no avail My chemical of choice for my tests was Acetone cyanohydrin stablized 1541 The map would open on small spill during day small spill at night large spill day but not on large spill at night Also last night while I was on the road someone else driving I tried to open the maps The maps seemed to fail everytime Im not sure if this was a function of movement or some other variable Now on to my suggestions 1 The map is centered around the location of the phone This is fine if my phone is the source of the spill grin For responders still enroute to the scene it would be nice to be able to specify the location OR move the location pin on the map to the location of the spill 2 This one may or may not be implimentable Currently the map seems to assume the wind is out of the south Would it be possible to poll a weather site to get current wind conditions at the location of the marker or some reasonably close approximation to the scene I dont know if this suggestion is beyond the intended scope of your application In closing thank you for your work on this application and your swift response to the initial report of the crash bug              Two suggestions for improvements
Application has a bug in search              Application has a bug in search
I used this app in my HazMat Ref class just last week Everything I needed to look up was there Works Great                 HazMat Ref class

Use this app all the time at work until I just updated my iPhone 3GS           OS4 Compatibility
First of all I love this app However when ever I enter the description or number of what Im looking for it takes forever Ive restarted the IPod touch many times and I still have the same problem I have a 2G Ipod Itouch Has anyone else experienced any lag typing in the item in the search area When I push the letter it hangs up in the magnified view of the letter for approx 34 seconds for each letter pressed and it wont let you press another letter or number until the it finishes with the letter you previously pushed This only started happening since the 40 update from apple              PROBLEM WITH LAG
This is a good app For knowing what is in trucks going up and down our roads                 Good information
Really good app but the maps not working           Good
Great app just need it to run on os 4 Looking forward to an update                 Great app
I am on a fire dept hazmat team and this app comes in handy Needs a few more refrences added which the dev said are on the way Great app                 Great app
This is a great app and makes for one less thing to lug around I look forward to future editions                 Very useful app
A great pocket version of the ERG                 Very useful
Great app works great every time I use it                 Works Great
Would give this app a higher rating if it were complete It doesnt include all the info in the hazmat table I will raise my rating if the info is added It would also be nice if the paragraphs and special provisions were linked to the actual 49 cfr        Needs nonbulk paragraph numbers 8b
Well layed out and versatile searching The developer responds to emails too This is my second HazMat app from iTunes and this one is definately an improvement If youre a first responder with an iPhone Id recommend having this tool in your arsenal                 Professional App
its great for hazmat It could use the pictures of the types of the rail cars trailers and storage containers like in erg book maybe in the next update                 Great product
Had to use this on a couple calls would like to see an update                 Good app
Ok update I figured out how to link now That being said UI could be better              Update
A very good transfer of material from the ERG to the app Great customer service too                 Good job
Many more features than the last version and easier to use Great Job It looks great works great and is FULL of vauable information The developer responded quickly to my feature request I like that the data is local so I can still use it in the boonies                 Worth waiting for great job
Previously this was just a decent resource now its a fantastic one with the 31 update Revised interface and information is clean and useful Most notable of the updates is the new visual spill isolation table and more importantly for first responders immediate visual warning of chemicals that react to water which is now indicated by a green background on the placards Strangely the font size in the guide information can be changed for easier reading yet the buttons for turning its pages is very difficult to see and use                 New and improved
This is by far the best version of the ERG available on the AppStore I tried one other and it did not have enough information to be useful I am a firefighter and it is nice to have this app at your finger tips when you need it To the creator Great Job                 Best version of the ERG on AppStore
Great app but with the new update when I try to load the spill control and safe zone areas on the map it instantly crashesPLEASE FIX              FIX THE MAP CRASH

If you are a cop or a firefighter you need this app Im always losing my Emergency Response Guide or somebody grabs it out of my rig but I never lose my iPhone The last update with inital isolation distances cements the authors commitment to supporting us Get this even if you arent a first responder it may save your life                 Great update
I own an over the road Hazmat trucking company this app is great I can be any where especially after hours and have the info It is easy to search by UN or Chemical name select the one you want all the info is there placard special provisions guide It is quicker than the books It is a little slow while you type in the chemical name but it is searching at the same time This is a must for shippers truck drivers emergency response any one who deals with hazmat This app will not take place of the books truck drivers are required to carry in there tuck but it is very helpful and easy to use This app cost me less than one hazmat book what a deal                 Best hazmat tool ever
This app could save your life Well devloped easy to use Never freezes and very complete Highly reccomend Thanks ARFCOM                 MUST HAVE for first responders
As a volunteer firefighter this app is great It saves so much time searching through the rig for the guidebook                 Amazing App
Great app for quickly finding chemical spill response guidelines Closest app Ive seen to the ERG its self Easy to find and respond to all the methylethyl bad stuff found on scene My only issue lack of contacts is on the to do list but I would hope either all are added or the list is editable                 Perfect for preventing blue canaries
It looks like its a work in progress Its only going to get better                 Great little app
Paid for it then updated to 40 excellent program that needs update as no longer works     FF
