Subscribed to HBR specifically to get iPad accessdoesnt work     Disaster of an app
The extraordinary and utterly talented contributors to HBR must be enormously embarrassed to be linked in any way to this pitiful excuse for an app that a two year old could have created better And I apologize to all two year olds for having compared your talents to those of the HBR app developers Given the prior version worked so flawlessly and this one is so pathetic Im presuming the development management has been replaced so to the New management and development team FIX this piece of c PLEASE     Its a pity the minimum is 1Star
If you read all the reviews they are spot on It doesnt sync your print subscription with that on the tablet There is an extra charge for reading up on the tablets and they follow it up with such poor experience     App doesnt work Cannot sync
How can Harvard Business Review can accept that their quality content be associated with such poorly designed and non performing app This lowers the overall value of the magazine in overall There are so many other alternatives to choose from and not sure HBR is not reacting to all the comments by now     Surprising bad
As noted by others this app is nice when it works but it doesnt work often In fact just about every time there is a new edition the app wont work wont download new content or fails to synch to your account requiring you to call tech support and waste 30 minutes of your time with each attempt to fix a problem that shouldnt exist in the first place Ive had this problem for 2 years It should be corrected by now and its not I like HBRs content but the app experience is horribly frustrating     Fix the synch function very frustrating
Expensive and it still shows ads that take up 20 of the vertical resolution of the iPad Every new page takes a few seconds to load May not sound like much but it feels very slow No offline reading queue as far as I can tell So much for catching up on HBR on the plane unless I carry the dead tree version     The articles are good everything else a bag of hurt
First of all very unresponsive you must touch almost right through your iPad to get anywhere in this disaster of an app When you finally do you wont be able to synch your paid for subscription with the online version Oh it will tell you you you were successful in synching it Good news only to take you back right to the screen you were where you can sign up for a paid subscription Somehow I feel we have a great Harvard Business School case study in the works on failed online strategy     What horrible app
I am an avid reader of HBR I have been subscribing to the print version for almost 10 years now This iPad version is totally useless It needs updating as its probably not compatible with iOS a 4 It doesnt work at all I am not able to open current or prior editions I would however recommend that if you need to have a digital edition you check out Zinio Its actually pretty good and it works However with iPad I am able to link my print subscription to the iPad version amp and I dont have to pay extra On Zinio you I believe you to have to pay extra     100 terrible Does not work
Lousy app Crashes very frequently Synch exists only in the instructions Have had to download issues more than four times after deleting the app as the only means to avoid paying for an issue on a current subscription It is a disgrace for an excellent institution the HBS to have an online presence of low poor quality     FRUSTRATING
Every time I try to use this app it thinks I am not subscrbed I spend more time fixing it than I do reading the magazine The auto renew feature though never fails to charge me     Read McKinsey Instead
HBR in days past used to be interesting Now like all media the articles are no more than you typical lack luster content hyping the latest trend rather than proving in depth reading        Expected better
Yes I subscribed to the allaccess edition and yes I cannot sync any content on the app It just cant locate and sync my account Why should I pay for something if I am not able to use it     I will call and ask for a refund
Clumsy navigation subscription validation fails and takes up way too much storage The free McKinsey app is much better        When publishers try to go mobile
The new app isnt syncing issues correctly and performance is terrible I expect more from such and esteemed publication You should be able to do better Dont you read your own magazine for advice     Amateurs
The HBR charges extra to get an alldigital access package so that one can use this app Save the money Most articles referenced I The text merely open a web browser pane back to the HBR site and this browser pane has no back button and renders content that takes you out of flow The articles embedded often dont open when you tap on themand there is this ignorant text message that advises one use Wifi to download issues because the app cannot handle sporadic network interruptions typical on a cellular network Since I only read this magazine on the train anyway the printed copy is far more portable than this dreadful mess It reflects poorly upon Harvard to release such a poor app for its flagship business magazine Y     Decent magazine dreadful iPad App
Subscriptions does not sync Very frustrating     I wish I could give less than one stars
This app is unusable and useless HBR should NOT be charging subscribers an extra 10 for this Ive given up on trying to use the app and gone to using Safari With Safari Im not prompted to sign in every time I move to a different page Im on the fence about canceling my HBR subscription The 10 magazines arent worth 90 a year and the website seems completely geared to selling you books and case studies Im not seeing the digital benefits of subscribing or using such a crappy app     Completely Useless
This is one of the most frustrating apps on iTunes New HBR issues are impossible to sync It is slow It doesnt remember ones login to iTunes Should I go on A terrible example of an app And yes my dog could do better     My dog could code a better app
This app is buggy and amateur Harvard could do better Paying for the digital magazine only would be a real wasted investment     Worst app I have
Not very happy Excited about HBR but disappointed about the IPad app     Cant get it to work
Really clunky app with dreadful performance Does not respond to input with any smoothness at all lags badly Needs a rewrite to improve Excellent material for an HBR case study     Dreadful performance
This has to be the most unintuitive app Ive ever seen It never seems to acknowledge that Im a subscriber every month its a mystery on how to download the latest subscription It boots me off midsession asking me to subscribe again Its difficult to find the sync page Does anyone at HBR even look at the app and try to use it Come on guys you can do better than this     Worst app on my iPad
Useless app Fire the developers I agree with all the 1 star ratings Cant get the piece of crap app to work right     Fire the developers
Many times the app corrupts downloaded copies of the Harvard business review magazines I have had to download some issues three times The buttons to download are not responsive sometimes they work and sometimes I have to press a button more than five times When the app works love it Content is 5 stars just delivery issues Please fix the usability and data corruption issues Users can then faithfully read HBR while traveling without lugging around paper copies        Great Potential constantly corrupts issues
After subscribing to HBR I prepared to download the IOS app After reading the reviews I actually decided not to download the app but find another way to access my subscription Finally I decided to try the app thinking that the worst that would happen is that I would delete the app What a pleasant surprise The app works great People with bad experiences may either be impatient or unable to follow instructions Touchscreen commands work fine Monthly issue downloads fine Reading it is set up well I guess Im enjoying it even more because my expectations were so low Try it youll like it              Great appwhy all the complaints
For a university endowed with billions and a line of CEOs going forever that read HBR this is the crappiest nonfunctional app I have seen All that is required is the ability to display text and even this the app cannot do Magazines dont download simultaneously it has to be serial And the downloads are downright lethargic Once downloaded every two weeks they become corrupt and have to be redownloaded Clicking on any of the HBR Blog network articles prominently show the author Bios and an ad but no content Thats right no content This app just doesnt work Harvard U should be ashamed of itself     Shittiest App Ever
Great material But overly frustrating experience with load times synching subscription to iPad etc Youd figure with all the bad reviews Someone responsible at HBR would pay attention     HBR Fix This App Experience
Wowseriously this is ridiculous Your Harvard for the love of God     Terrible
App is completely nonfunctional It doesnt sync with my print account Customer service is of no use either In short a completely useless app     Horrible App
Frustrating that app doesnt work dont bother I ended subscription due to app Now I look in magazine rack to see if ant interesting articles otherwise I save my money Too bad     App doesnt work
The only solution I found for downloading new issues is to delete and reinstall the app Surely there is an article in HBRs archives with some advice on improving customer experience     Poor performance
Besides being very clunky overall I cant get audio to play from video or audio files     Clunky and no audio
The app wont even load on my iPad     Wont load
This application is so poorly done that it defies imagination that it could represent a journal committed to detailing successful business operation and strategy A great case study for HBS on how not to design and execute This is how you lose customers and credibility     From a Business School
Cannot download issues constantly crashes terrible app Please look at the businessweek app and copy theirs as a good example Im canceling subscription until it is fixed     Worst app Ive seen ever
No he podido recuperar mis compras Es terrible la navegación La peor aplicación de iPad para revistas electrónicas Y eso que es HBR     Pésima
Wish I had read the reviews Much of it just doesnt work     Whoaa disaster
Guys I know the HBR team can do much better It worked Now it doesnt Please fix     Not working still not fixed I want a refund
On several occasions including now I cannot get the app to download the current edition without paying for it again Given that I consider HBR to be the most advanced management journal committed to the highest standards of excellence I find this to be pretty ironic        Frustrating Wont Update Editions
When it works this app is great Unfortunately this app rarely works properly I have a current print subscription but to often this apps demands I pay again for the electronic version I have loved out logged back in and the app stays glitchy Very sad that this is the best Harvard can do     Disappointing
When you pay for a subscription you dont expect the user experience to be on par with the worst free apps in the AppStore especially when the product has the discerning audience that HBR has So why HBS would you allow anything this bad to ship I cant even read the blogs     Do not subscribe
Nothing works not user friendly not responsive buttons dont work layout is confusing Been trying to download June issue for an hour Very disappointing especially as a Harvard product I got the subscription for the digital piece which is largely unusable     Terrible shameful to HBR
Continually refreshing my ID Navigation crashes Downloaded the latest issue and now its not available Happy to let my subscription lapse and I attended HBS     Pathetic
How is it possible that HBR cant do better than this Interface is seriously unresponsive navigation is unintuitive and despite being a subscriber I cant get rid of the ads Please HBR fix this     Deeply frustrating
and unresponsive Terrible app     Clunky
Shockingly poor design and functionality Tough to justify paying for a subscription if you cant access the content on the app     Refund please
There is no value here The print version is much better     Really horrible
Broken sync feature for months but even when accessible delivers a poor reading experience Would be best for everyone if this was removed from the App Store     Cant sync
Ive been a subscriber for over 2 years and it seems they still believe in print thats why they dont invest in their app Everytime I try using it it either says that I need to link my itunes account or that the file is corrupted And dont let me get started on the full content that you have access my password never works for that they even gave me a username and password that wasnt mine because they couldnt fix it     Not what you expect from hbr
If I could have given it a negative star I would have Candidly I expect more from the HBR brand and not some amateurhour app Doesnt sync properly Doesnt properly retain association with printdigital subscriptions At this point the only reliable way to read is via my print subscription     The absolutely worst app Ive ever used
