I guess I should have read the fine print before purchasing this app but I have been curious about these hand signals and decided to go for it I figured it would be a good introduction to this program which I have also been curious about At any rate there is no sound at all You are not greeted with an introduction upon opening this app but rather you are thrust into a little quiz where you are given a photograph of someone displaying a hand cue then 3 phonetic symbols to choose from to match the symbol depicted in the picture You select the symbol for the sound that you think is being depicted in the photograph That is it The program doesnt tally the percentage correct or give you a list of items that were missed It is really difficult to ascertain if you were correct or incorrect in the first place To be fair there is a small button in the bottom right hand corner of the welcome screen hardly noticeable that you may select to gain a description of the app and its features and the hand cues make sense to me But 30 for this app is robbery Could be so much better

This app is useless I wish I could get my money back Save your money

Why does the full set have sound but not just the hand cue set My child is 3 and non verbal we need the very basic and because the set has no sound this is for a more advanced talker Glad I didnt pay full price Not for a beginner

I love this app The hand cue matching app is a great addition to the other tools in the SpeechEZ program The pictures are vibrant and easy to use I really like how the app allows tracking to be subtle and doesnt necessarily point out in an annoying way when the child chooses an incorrect answer Love it
