Haiku Home Automation for HAI

I usually wait a bit before I write a review Ive been using this app for a little over a year now It is a very good app It is such a good app that it has compelled me to come here and write this review The layout is great the interaction is great all the details that you need are readily available and present right in front of you at a quick glance Ive had zero problems with the connection staying connected or any type of problems with the connection It just works it works great Please dont change this                 Fantastic app

This sits in my entryway on the wall The white is blinding The black was appropriate and unobtrusive Otherwise a great app              Fix Colors

Please put back the colored background The white background looks tacky on wall mount iPads Looks cheap and create glare at night Please put back the old background     New background terrible

I love this app I use it to control my Omni Pro II and ip cameras The app really does it all However I recently upgraded the app and now my volume controls for each audio zone are missing You can get lucky from time to time and find the invisible button but what happened Bring back the volume slider please              Audio Glitch

This newest version broke the app for me Only loads a blank black screen Please fix and bring back the old colors and look     Broken

Update Nov 17 2014 Whats going on there has been no updates to this app I was going to purchase the Haiku helper next But not sure if the dev is no longer working this app Only reason Ive havent moved off mu iPhones and iPads is because of this one single app If this is the end to development of the app the company needs to alert its customers so we have time to find alternatives Not find out it no longer works with a new iDevice 66 plus etc or new iOS Anyone using it with the latest apple devices Past The developer is very responsive I appreciate all his hard work thank you Maksim App keeps getting better better Hope to see a password lock for the app soon should be optional to turn on              Very good

Got iPhone 6 and snap link for HAI wont even open after multiple times trying Downloaded this one and so far works great This is way better than Snaplink and Leviton should be ashamed of themselves for putting out such a crappy app for their own product like Snaplink Buy this one it works              Better than snap link

This app allows you to do everything that you can do from a touchscreen So much easier to navigate than a keypad This is a must have                 Haiku review

Extremely useful app allowing the user to check on house status while away did I turn off the lights turn on lights and hear just before arriving home to save energy and adjust controls to fit changing conditions Update after iOS upgrade Slider switches no longer available and weather is gone Less useful app now 42015 update Company doesnt appear proactive or responsive in maintaining features when the operating system is upgraded Hard to reach company having to rely on blog Very disappointing     Convenience

This update killed my app You guys are the worst You need to get an update and it needed to be here yesterday If it aint broke dont fix it Unbelievable     HORRIBLE

One of the most used featuresAbility to control distributed Audio volume slider is missing so you cannot change volume        No volume control

I think they made this update look terrible to incentivize users to upgrade to their new app     Update looks terrible

What happened to the previous layout It was well designed and elegant As of July 24 2015 the new layout looks cheap and thrown together I am very disappointed I also noticed that the app is recommending that we upgrade to a subpar app that cost an additional 4999 What happened to free upgrades Are you planning to stop supporting this app that I have already paid a hefty price for Does the suggested app support the Mac version of Haiku This was the best looking app for HAI controllers Now its one of the worst looking     New interface and layout

This app meets all of my needs when interfacing with my HAL panel to include ease of use for my wife                 Very Good App

I started using this app over the HAI app quite a while ago It has great functionality and has gotten faster and better with each revision                 Continually improves

28 May 15 see below I used to claim that HAI Snaplink was not good but now I have to use Snaplink to adjust my lighting level whats going on with HAIKU Rating shld be 14 star 28 Apr 15 party pooper here still has no app password no Unit OFF timer Now my lighting dimmer slider is gone for Zwave lighting 21 Dec 14 for 2 years now still has no app password Unit OFF timer 22 June 14 No app password and Unit OFF timer did the coder got fired 12 May 14 still waiting for the app password Also looking for an OFF timer for units 9 Dec 12 Weather outlook still not working Version 380 created errors on my IPhone 5 due to the txt to speech upgrade Lady voice is worst than Siri Still waiting for the app password 10Aug12 Lost my weather outlook with this version Still waiting for the app password Flags now can be incremented However app password still not implemented Need a lock on settings I have lost my controller setting 3 or 4 times when my iPhone is on and keys are activated inside my pocket while Haiku is active 30 Apr 12 Still waiting for App password     Controller setting lock and app password missing

Ive been using the Leviton Snaplink app since it came out years ago Sadly the UI hasnt changed since I recently got turned on to the HAIKU app and love it These guys have really spent the effort to give this app all kinds of cool features Highly recommended                 High 5 to HAIKU

This app worked perfectly until they released a different app and asked me to buy it I didnt buy it and got an update that crashed the app At that point I was forced for work to buy the new app which is even more annoying If they fix the old app Haiku get it not Space Automation     Wasted my money

I really like this application but when I opened it recently I no longer had the ability to dim my lights Any suggestions are appreciated The word level is still on the light page but no slider appears next to it           Light Dimming feature has disappeared

Great visual interface and easy to use New version changed background to white They addressed issue in last version where audio slider control volume was hidden But now audio source selection is not discernible Liked black background better wish color scheme was a user configurable option Refresh cache took a bit of time to locate Go to more page and click on upper right square with up arrow to access that              New version fixes audio volume problem

Loved this app even after paying 49 However they still havent updated the app to conform to Apples recent OS changes Result is no volume control on audio etc When I contacted the company they said to pay another 49 to upgrade to their new app Not good Dont buy this unless they are committed to ongoing updates     Not updating App

Why did they have change the theme to all white We just wanted the bugs fixed not a new look Please provide an option to bring back the old look and feel              What happened to the old look

I have to agree with each and every one of the comments made by previous reviewers I made the mistake of upgrading on my iPhone 6 and now Im stuck with this less than stellar upgrade Of most importance to me was the nice black interface now blinding ugly white The first thing I looked for when opening the app was a user configurable control to change this dont bother It aint there I was also one of the suckers who bought into Spaces an equally illdesigned app made to replace Haiku Newsflash If it aint broke dont fix it Designers programmers are you even looking at your reviews Compare reviews from the original app with those of the new app and Spaces See the difference Please fix this asap and get back your loyal and supportive customers     Haiku no longer makes me happy

This product raises my HAI work to a whole new level Fantastic value adderfor the end user I would highly recommend this App for your system HAI Guy                 HaiKu Rocks

I was looking for a second option to control my HAI system with an Omnipro II and when I found Haiku it quickly became my first option to runcheck the system from outside the premises or from the local wifi It works great anyway                 It does the job

There is no other choice for an app to control your HAI home Blows the doors off of the lackluster app produced by HAI The support is responsive and the developer is very open to ideas for improvement We love it Thanks so much to Maksim for making a top notch app                 The only app for your HAI Home

I purchased this software last year for 50 when the Leviton software for OMNI stopped working after an IOS upgrade They promised to make updates to correct some controls access issues That never happened Now they want you to spend another 50 for replacement software Meanwhile the Leviton software works well as it used to What a ripoff     Dont buy this software

Used to work Last version made the whole app one blank screen This update promised to fix that but didnt     Still broken

No PC software needed simple setup and connection way more reliable then snaplink or weblink It just works                 Hands down best HAI app

Super application Ive been using it for over a year I have been using it to control two different HAI units It is very easy to switch between the units The user interface on the iPhone and iPad is clean simple and easy to train people on I never had the app not work as expected Thats a good thing Because I seem to always need it most after business hours to access our commercial locations                 Super App Works Every Time

this app has amazing customer service I sent several email about a problem I was having and got answers in minutes                 amazing customer service

This app went from fivestar to twostar to zero with the latest July 30 update You broke my app Now all I get is a blank screen on my iPhone This is a critical 50 app that I use was using throughout the day Now its useless Poor execution     Dont apply latest update

This used to be a great app until the developers updated it leaving out features in order to make you buy there new app space automation which still seems like a beta     Scam

Does not display the dimmer slider bar for any lights The slider is there u can guess where the slider is and if u guess correctly the light will dim brighten accordingly Your team just needs to fix it to display correctly on the IPhone 6 plus I have an iPad it displays correctly on it Bill              Bug IPhone 6 Plus

After the last IOS update this app broke and they havent fixed it Its been months The dimmer slides are all gone and the app freezes at times Please fix it We paid lots of money for this app     Dont buy this app now

I was using WL3 and it required Windows Home Server and the interface is unpractical This Haiku interface its just great and flexible and fast to operate Worth its high price because its one license per user                 Great App

Ive got this app controlling my OmniPro II as well as connected to my Dahua IP Cameras and everything is working great I could not be happier Be sure and check out the Haiku Helper companion app that will enable you to get push notifications through the Haiku app I love being able to get notified as the alarm gets armed and disarmed                 Great app

Just applied the latest update Now app returns a blank screen Need to have an update NOW Thanks UPDATE Got the app to work by deleting app and data Then redownloading app and reconfigurating Appears that the latest version is not compatible with previous data files App update should have updated the data files as well Not a good update but there is a workaround just not very user friendly Changed my stars to 2 as app is great once you get it working Would also like to be able to have a way to get the screen display to be configurable so I can return to the previous display which I liked very much UPDATE2New update for app fixes the previous problem of a blank screen Have now changed rating to 5 stars This is the best app to interface with your Omni products                 Latest update app no longer works

I have tried several HAI apps including HAIs own app an this bar none is the best one out there Never had a crash or any problem for that matter                 The best HAI app out there

This app is constantly displaying wrong temps and heatingcooling status This can be particularly troublesome when contacting the app remotely and two of your zones are reporting temps of 32 degrees with the heat running when in reality its over 80 degrees outside This problem has been consistent through all versions        Temps dont work

Like this App as an alternative to Snaplink                 Nice Interface

I really wish there was a ZERO star option First you update the app with the ugliest user interface colors with no option to revert to the old colors which were perfect for a wall mounted iPad Then you add the NAG screen about buying SPACE which I already own That was bad enough but now you release this new version WHICH DOES NOT WORK Neither my iPad nor iPhone will work with this APP BLACK SCREEN on both Killed app rebooted all of that no go It is unbelievable how a developer could release something that simply doesnt work at all I just dont get it     Unbelievably BAD
