i heard good great things about grainfather products but this app is super basic and limited i found no way to switch to metric units for example which is a deal breaker anywhere outside the 3 parochial backwaters of myanmar liberia and united states of america i may still buy grainfather hardware but i won t be using this app for anything         pretty basic app Nogbad's Revenge

UX needs a lot of help Can t enter accurate yeast amounts due to missing decimal point on entry screen Inconsistent entry methods for ingredients too many steps for standard entries Notifications multiply with every session I ve brewed 8 now so my next batch will give me 9 notifications for each step on my watch and phone I guess none of the developers actually use the app         Clunky but useful DobroD

I use this app everytime I brew with my GF and it s great Takes almost all the math and timing out of the equation Looks and feels great Very good for making notes keeping recipies The only thing I wish it had was a way to share and view other recipies with other grainfather owners Still a great companion to a excellent brewing machine Cheers                 Awesome Needs a social recipie library whiteblackred

How about an adjunct section also I have switched to this app since I got my Grainfather and really enjoy it but it is missing some details like iBrewmaster and Brewers Friend I think this should be the best option for Grainfather owners and anyone else who enjoys brewing Please more content                 More grains and hops needed Chrisbruns1970MFER!!!!!!!!

First let me start by saying I waited almost 6 months to finally buy a grain father Now that I have it I have put two brews through it and find that this app is helpful but needs more Calculations and temps are great Timer is great but if you are not in the app it does not go off Please add this feature I wish there was a pause button Second batch I made a large grain bill and got a stuck sparge I had to clean out the pump Then had to start over with my own timer Not a big issue but it would be great to have a pause I also wish this app had a built in SG predictor This would aid in allowing to see if I am doing everything right and keep tweaking my system More beers on the horizon but for now this system and app work Just want more to make it better than just a timer Lastly I would love to have a second fermentation addition Dry hopping fruit and flavorings would be very helpful Also an ability to email the designer directly in the app for suggestions and fixes Please fix so I can update this app and continue to love the grainfather Thank you                 Good but small tweaks to make great Homebrew guru

Made my first batch on my new Grainfather and this app made the whole process so easy and simple It kept track of all the times when I needed to add the different ingredients I did make one mistake I saw that the end product was going to be 6 gallons and I only wanted five I ended up boiling for another 45 minutes to get to 5 5 gallons but didn t realize that there will be waist with the amount of crud on the bottom of the tank I should have left it at 6 gallons because that takes into account the waste from not emptying out every last drop with all the crud on the bottom                     Awesome Mark1776

Stated earlier that I couldn t save recipes but after contacting support I learned that every field must be filled in before the Save button is active So be sure to fill it all in Brewed my first batch on the Grainfather 2 days ago and the app worked fine Now it s tracking my fermentation schedule Nice                 My mistake dougweiser

Brewed my first batch along with this app the day after I got my Grainfather I loved using both Mash Volume calculations are awesome Adding a recipe is pretty painless That said there were a few things I ran into that were annoying It will only let you save a recipe after all the data is filled out That is a bit annoying It would be nice if you could save it and it would be marked as draft until all the critical information is filled in I am unable to change the mash out temperature or time which is a little annoying That would be a great addition One last annoyance When I tried to use the sparge counter somehow I finished the stage I was unable to go back I couldn t tell you if it is a bug or if I just have fat fingers because I wasn t able to get back to that step You have the ability to restart the current stage but not to go back a stage Perhaps that would be another good feature                 Great companion to the Grainfather DadV3.0

Needs a couple of tweaks to make it better I can t add a decimal in the yeast section and now I m stuck with a whole number of 388 which I can t erase Lots of potential here Thanks for your hard work             For a free this is a good app NCSUGGS

It s a very pretty app Great for making sparge calculations after beersmith failed me so badly Come on though filling out ever single last field before being able to save a recipe     Really you have to fill out everything iceguy118

This is a very good App to be running if you have the Grainfather Brewing System I used it with my first brew and was greatly impressed There is room for some simple improvements in the first update which I hope is coming soon that can make this an outstanding App Keep up the good work I really enjoy brewing on the Grainfather                 A good App that needs some minor help iphotoefx

Difficult to use app crashes consistently about 70 of the way through creating a recipe app does not allow to save partial recipe so one is forced to begin again from the beginning Needs to have setup preferences allowing for USA and metric measurements Kg Lb g oz F C and so forth Very much would like to use app but seems unstable at the moment         App crashes too often unstable build can t save recipes rawlus

The app is just a few days old and after playing around with it for a few minutes I noticed there was no option to convert to imperial units After the successful Kickstarter launch a few months back to bring GF to the U S it would ve been nice to incorporate that option into the initial release That s the only drawback right now having to convert liters Celsius and grams to their equivalent imperial units Once the option is made available I think it will be more desirable to those who currently brew             Imperial Units Please #DSizzleSwag

I know this app is only hours old but I wanted to download and play around with it since I am SO excited to get the US version of the Grainfather First thing I noticed is that all measurements are metric I know that my fellow country men are far behind the rest of the world with are imperial measuring system and use of 110V electricity but not having extra calculations and conversions would make life simpler Is there any chance we could get a settings option that would let us select US Imperial measurements             Looks Good So Far Ribsman
