GQ app has been update to version 3.7 with several major changes and improvements. App release that improves performance, provides several new options.

The GQ is now available as a free download on Apple Store for iPad owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 2.8 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 3.7 has been released on 2014-11-18. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Wrote a bad review for version 5 0 along with everyone else who had used the app for years The latest update returned some of the previous functionality to make it a much better experience Please don t screw it up again                 5 0 was a Horrible update 5 1 fixed the app Edgomesjr
Initially I was experiencing the same issue that most folks have mentioned here about loosing all their previously purchased issues I refused to believe that it was impossible to retrieve your old issues I messed around the app a little bit and discovered that if you have a username and password with GQ online use that to log into the app Next you can click the restore button in the app It should resolve I did the same and it restored all my issues Let s fast forward to the update that was made on 10 26 2017 They ve screwed up with the library section That section displays as cascade layout to where only 8 back issues can be accessed With all the advertisements money GQ makes it can afford to maintain bigger cloud storage to allow us access more past issues GQ please change the cascade layout to a side by side layout so that I can access 16 or more back issues Like others have mentioned some our favorite issues were from 2 or 3 years ago We need those issues back     Don t Give Up Zoraxer

It took 6 months to fix but the GQ app is now worthy of recommendation All available issues seem to be available for download if you have an appropriate subscription so no longer a waste of money Hopefully future updates will be at least this functional                 Significantly improved NYCPrynne

I have paid for a subscription through iTunes and tried to download the issues that I ve paid for but GQ magazine app doesn t recognize my subscription even though it s clearly listed in my iTunes account So I signed up through GQ and paid extra money so that I could do you on my iPad however there is no button to download issue in the upper right corner the application continues to prompt me to buy This is terrible     Not user friendly Jermaine Clark
I mostly read GQ on the plane because I fly every week It worked fine before but now none of the images load without an internet connection like on a plane Even if you already downloaded the issue you can t see anything And worse looks like we ve been making these comments for 5 months and it s still not fixed I give it one more month before I cancel     Completely useless CO303

The updated app is so terrible that I ve canceled my subscription to GQ Unable to read an issue when in airplane mode even if you wait the 30 minutes for the issue to download Articles take several seconds to load on downloaded issues Can t pick up where you left off on an article If you close the app you will lose your page Content is laid out as a print magazine continue reading an article at the end of an issue instead of the tablet friendly v4 app Even though I enjoy GQ s writing and content I cannot find a reason to keep this terrible app on my device     So bad b_rare

I used to just open my iPad and the app and I d have instant access to my subscription and all the issues With the upgrade I now have to remember my GQ account info Do I even have that Didn t I just subscribe through iTunes Easier to just buy the magazine at the store     Why so complicated Make it easy!

The new 5 0 update has completely ruined this app for me iPhone iPad Most annoying is the removal of the Bookmark feature All of my previously saved articles were deleted so you can forget about ever looking at older issues again Not that I could if I wanted to because my library of downloaded issues were removed and offline mode barely loads the current issue Not to mention the app is buggy slow doesn t save where you left off and removed the navigation bar at the bottom I understand why they made the updates they did but they didn t have to kill off the features that made it great to use Canceling my digital subscription     Took away best features Buggy slow now App Review Badger
Huge step backwards from previous version which worked pretty well New user interface is amateur hour very poorly done Biggest problem for me though is that it now takes forever to download an issue like 50x longer than before and the app often just hangs up and stops downloading all together Basically makes it completely unusable I feel completely ripped off that I m paying for this alleged access They need to scrap this version immediately and go back to something that actually works     Latest Update to 5 0 is complete disaster Fan of Laughter

Terrible app now Used to be easy to navigate now it is impossible to even get it to recognize my subscription let alone to actually read an issue     Was great then fixed it Three11nut
They completely changed the UI eliminating a layout that resembled the print edition for a bland layout that resembles a website with endless scrolling I had several issues saved on the previous version and all were deleted with the update When I try download through the new app it either says No Internet connection or begins to download only to freeze at around 95 So I can t have issues saved for offline reading My library of available back issues is also incomplete I used to be able to download issues going back to mid 2011 but my favorite issue in early 2012 no longer appears Also iPad exclusive content doesn t appear to exist in back issues anymore If I could go back to the previous version of the app I would The 5 0 version is too buggy and should never have been released as is     Avoid the 5 0 update unitedstyle
I think GQs app is the best out there I look forward to it each month Im a graphic designer and the flow editing and extra features are just stellar I dont mean to drool but respect is due great job on behalf of the design team that obviously works VERY well with the editorial team Keep up the great work Brando                 I dont know why this isnt 5 stars

It is easy to see all the ads Why doesnt it download in the background You have to keep it open and watch the little loading bar otherwise it wont load all the content but the ads load first           Great Ads Bad Downloads

If youre going to purchase this or any renewal type product off the App Store make sure you know how to turn off auto renewal BEFORE buying it and even get on the line with these vampires to confirm that your auto sub is off because they will take full advantage     Be Careful
Try signing in with you email address and password for the GQ APP I was able to finally upload the new GQ mags after many failed attempts of using the Subscription code before Customer service are nonresponsive              iPad access to new editions
I have annual subscription via Apple but I can only download up to 6 copies to keep on my iPad for offline reading Whenever you want to revisit a copy you have to redownload because its not available after downloading the 7th copy I have paid for them and my iPad has available storage space I am seriously considering canceling the subscription if this problem is not fix soon     RipOff

Be warned if you are a print subscriber and you have registered this app you will be asked to sign in with your email and password However there is no way to do this and you will get permanently locked out of the app If you dont believe me just have a look at the other reviews     This app does not work at all for print subscribers

A terrible app iPads My GQ is a horrific rendition of Pinterest for males The inconsistency of the app in which the user is allowed to clip an image in one issue but find out that the same method will not work in another issue is extremely frustrating Its also dissatisfying to find that you are only able to download up to 4 articles at a time attempting to download a newer issue will result in the automatic deletion of another I wouldnt waste my time using the My GQ application and really only utilize the application for trips     Horrible

When it can download the issue reading it is great in the app But it constantly has issues downloading an issue will download then delete it right away and seems to only be able to keep a few issues at a time on the device even though I have plenty of space I would also like to be able to make a note of which issues Ive readpreviously downloaded as well as bookmark pages but these functions arent available There is a save like function for favorite articles but it doesnt work at all This app needs a lot of work     Okay
I never thought Id say this but Im reading the full magazine as opposed to harvesting a bunch of old half read ones at the end of the year because of this app Very convenient The only thing I miss is the smell of the cologne ads that gave the print version a real sense of luxury Any chance that the next Ipad comes with a scent feature                 Convenient
When the app actually worked the layout on the iPad was really nice However I have to echo the frustration people are having getting access My subscription has continued interrupted but somehow I cant get logged into the app any more It makes it worse that my emails to customer service are completely ignored even after several weeks Unacceptable I expect better        Registration Frustration
