I bought this program a long while ago before it was GPS and primarily used it for scoring Once I really started using it as a range finder and tool I was able to shave 3 strokes off my game Its really makes my skycaddie buddies jealous                 Just keeps getting better

This latest release really puts the full picture together You can now addedit golf course information on your mobile device Im a long time user of this app and fully recommend it to anyone who wants a golf app for GPS scorecard shot tracking and statistical needs You can use all or parts of the app The developer Senygma is extremely responsive to feedback and is committed to user satisfaction Great update                 Outstanding Golf App

This version is bad and full of bugs Barely usable scratch that is unusable It freezes a lot It does not have the tools we had in previous version This is awful What a mess I started a round of golf and the scorecard shifted up and left making it not visible and I could not get it back Sue wish that I did pay 2995 for it Please fix it soon     Golf gps

It does everything I want and does it pretty well Its an excellent scorecard app a goodenough gps for me and the upload and stats work very well Its also great that its got builtin cloudbased backup Areas of improvement Well the course database isnt very complete yet they use their own not a preexisting one Ive had to enter several that I play which requires a laptop It takes about 15 minutes to enter the rangefinder data from the aerial imagery and 5 minutes or so to enter the parlengthhandicap for each tee Not a big deal and even kind of fun and it only needs to be done once for each course But if youre traveling without your laptop and want to play a course that not in the db youre out of luck Of course this will improve over time Also the gps takes a while to lock I suspect that this is an iPhone problem There is an option to not let the gps sleep which I havent tried It might fix the problem at the cost of battery life Having said all that I still really like and use this app Also support is excellent and the app continues to improve                 Great app with room for improvement

Played first round with it yesterday satellite view needs to be better Green needs to be on top of screen with player position on bottom For 30 bucks I expected it to be a little better           Weekend golfer

The initial release was pretty poor but theyve released multiple versions since then and have made vast improvements in the app The makers of this app Senygma are very responsive to emails and are pushing out frequent upgrades to this app Ive always recommended GolfCard Classic to friends and playing partners and can finally say that I recommend GolfCard GPS              Almost there

My first golf gps Does all it says with position distances and logging It was a revelation to me that not all course yard markers were accurate I have been more confident about club selection                 Changed My Game

I have been using the Classic version for several years loved the app Saw the new GPS and bought it without hesitation Big mistake Paid money but have to rely on users to map courses the client software is bad Why should I have to setup the tees and yardages For that money I would expect more I am sorry I paid for this Looking for a new one           Why do Users have to set up the course

The program functions just like it always has except for a few changes First there is currently an issue downloading some of the courses Support is aware and is working on that issue Secondly the computer course editor is gone The only way to make or edit courses is on your device Have you every tried to trace a fairway on an iPhone screen You will want to throw your phone in about 3 minutes Pleas being back the pc course editor              Same great program all new issues

I have been looking for a good all around golf card tracker and GPS and after many different downloads of multiple apps Then I found this and Im sticking with it All the different features yet so easy to navigate and track Thx for the great app                 Perfect

New owner with a few bugs to work out I have the same issue with course editing and support has been unresponsive This application works well for a frequent golfer like me who wants to keep track how I play the game It doesnt cost anything after the purchase and seems to be maintained              Same great app but

I really like this app but would like to see some things 1 the shot tracker doesnt sync between iPhone and iPad and its hard to see on the iPhone and I dont carry the iPad on the course 2 would like to track stats on holes on course pars birdies etc 3 track club lengths on a round by round basis              Great app but would like some things

Read old review below if wanted but almost all of the negativity in my previous posts is replaced with happiness now It keeps improving and I keep recommending it I dont believe any other golf apps come close I now have only 2 recommended improvements 1 27 hole courses are impossible to handle correctly and needs an update 2 I would like to choose my details I keep on scorecard There are two levels now strokes and putts which is good but I would like chips and sand shots The other option is too many stats My first review follows now New look in scorecard is improved Pretty much everything else is the same or worse than the old Pro version Can not edit or add golfers except when setting up a round My biggest issue is that you cannot change any details of a round once it is set Want to add a player remove a player add a side game Too bad I like to set up rounds on the way to the course but now I have to be clairvoyant or delete the round and start over when details change I have used Golf Card Pro for years and loved it I have probably marked more than 50 of the public courses in the Salt Lake area so I am very familiar with the old version and have always recommended it to everyone This is a step mostly in the wrong direction I played a round with it today Just like I thought everything is harder to do I set up the round at home my son decided to play with my golf buddy and I so I had the plesure of deleting the round I set up and building a new one on the fly when I went to post the first hole scores The whole process inluding uploading scores to the handicap website is more difficult than it used to be GPS functionality hasnt changed much an is still good but I use it mostly for checking distance after hitting a good shot I use a laser for actual approach distances which is always right on I will attempt to go back to the previous version and get a refund for this version Changed my rating to 2 stars which is what this is for the way I want to use it Golf Card Pro was worth 4 to me                 I had given a fairly poor review before but much better now

Still waiting for the extra features to kick that would give the stat breakdowns as well as map of ball hits              Not bad

I had classic and it was fine Impossible to navigate the new app Bought new iPhone and uploading is simply impossible Instructions are horrible Also tried to download course the is on classic and again a problem The new new app was a waste of money I will abandon my data and move on to another app     App is not good

I am a avid golfer who loves stats I use another app as well as this one and between the two get most of what I am Looking for in an app I Ike the shot mapping it was the main reason I purchased as well as the ability to record half and full swings Would like a fe other items and I will ditch the other app I use 1 a website to look at stats I like to use the web to look at my game and how to improve 2 I use my iPhone and iPad attached to my cart The shot mapping does not transfer between devices or I have not figured out how Would like to share all data between devices Lost a star because of this 3 compare stats with others with my handicap Other gps app does this very well           Good app Hope to add a few things

Havent had any issues No crashes and no complaints Takes a bit of getting use to and knowing and remembering that you need to stay on top of every shot I dont like that you cant edit shots that youve already passed You can edit the score just not the shots in between even though you remember them For the money you get about the same out of golflogix but Im ok with knowing GC keeps my scores and stats Just make sure you download courses before you ever go to play Sometimes they have been plotted out but there is no score card so its a good idea to check ahead of time Overall a good app              It better be awesome

I tried several different golf apps and golfcard GPS seems to be the most full featured to date The biggest thing keeping it from 5 stars is bugginess Have had several issues with the app crashing but they have supposedly fixed the latest one The interface is not bad but it is a little unintuitive Overall a decent app for keeping track of my game              Pretty good but just short of great

Whenever I try to view a previous round on my iPad the app crashes Every time iPhone version is fine only happens on iPad           iPad Version Crashes

Updates are fine adding score card data using PC is possible but Get some cheap labor and do it instead of adding complicated features that one would not use during a tournament Definitely add feature to record ball position automatic scoring by pressing one button like the volume button without looking at app screen              Add score card data

Now there is a second enjoyment After my round I spend great time analyzing my game stats Updates on my wish list sync of bag stats and ball mapping Also the ability to correct distances when we forget to mark the landing location Keep it up Congratulations                 I entered and traced a new golf course Now I can play at that course without loosing my stats

Best golf GPS app out there Desperately need the GolfCard Manager program for editcreateupdate courses ourselves That tool is as important as the app itself Best option would be for users to copy courses into their own GC cloud so individual updates are unique That way users dont have to share a single course Again very thankful the app is back              Happy its back

App is horrible Very few courses are available on here The ones that are on here only have one set of tee markers I didnt buy this app to update your database What a crock I pay 30 to do your work I want my money back but have no clue as to how to do this YOU MUST PASS ON THIS APP IT IS A SCAM     I have been duped DO NOT BUY

A few minor things keep from giving a 5star rating but overall its a fine app Minor glitches include Erasing previous entries if you have to switch any settings and come back into it Would like to be able to select fairway hit or not while I am standing over a tee shot              Good app

Had the original app before I moved To this one I love the gps features and the fact that you can track your stats Gps is accurate The new layout is a lot easier to navigate The only think I wish they could improve on is the location and distance feature when you are trying to track how far you are hitting For some reason my readings have not been accurate Also battery life suffers a little Other than that this app is awesome                 Good gps for the price

Ive been using this app for a couple of years due to its great course coverage the practical usability a lot of golf apps are not well suited for using while youre also playing golf But the UI was getting a little dated so I was just started to look at reviews for other apps Now theyve updated for iOS 7 and Im staying where I am                 Great iOS 7 update

Still prefer Golf Card ProClassic as it more intuitive Not a fan of the new gold graphics and difficult to use interface If things get cleaned up and things get as easy as Pro it will get more stars        Long time Golf Card Pro user

I have used GolfCard Classic for a little over 2 years now and played about 100 rounds with it religiously The GPS has everything you need the only downside is that the iPhone needs 30 seconds or so to zero in on a GPS signal after you pull it out of your pocket but thats a structural issue with using an iPhone for GPS not the fault of the application On the scorecard it indicates on each hole what you can expect to shot on it according to your handicap and also your average score on that hole based on your prior games on that course Managing the elements Players Courses Rounds is simple and intuitive yet comprehensive You can register simple hole score and if you want you can track of puts sand shots penalties chips fairways missed leftright etc It takes me about 5 seconds per hole per player to mark score putts and fairways which are the only things I track At the end of a round with 2 touches it uploads my scores to USHandicap and keeps my USGA handicap card up to date You can also email a comprehensive scorecard to the guys you played with I think GolfCard Classic is a great app and a bargain Ive looked for other golf apps and have never found one that does it better Ive wrestled with the idea of buying a Skycaddie but cant really justify the expense when the only real difference is that the GPS is constantly updated which you can simulate with the iphone by not switching off the screen but lasting through a 4 hour round is iffy unless you have a new battery And all this is why I am astounded frustrated and infuriated by Senygmas decision to discontinue development of GolfCard Classic in favor of its new version GolfCard GPS and GolfCard GPS Pro I bought the Pro version confident that with the earlier version behind it it would be as good or better Nope The GPS is a little better but the link to USHandicap is gone and you cant even use the app to track USGAcompliant handicap because the new version does not even accept entries for Course and Slope ratings their excuse is that the app is just for casual scoring The interface is not as intuitive you cant manage your players and courses as easily I want my money back GolfCard GPS Pro is crap compared to its predecessor which luckily is still available Im going back to Golfcard Classic If Senygma is smart they will continue to support that one        GolfCard Classic is MUCH better than GolfCard Pro

Nice combination of scoring stats tracking GPS side games and integration with sites like Golfnet              Very good all around golf app

Very useful on the course Maps are as accurate and if they arent you can change and update them yourself If a course isnt mapped you can map it before you go out and play Only thing that I would like to see added is gps club tracking to track the distances of each club you hit                 Great app
