I download just about every new game that looks decent each week and Galactic did not disappoint Game mechanics are simple and responsive Added treats like leveling up your ships details really adds some flair to the replayability as well as all the various ships So far I can only see 3 ships total but hopefully more people will drop reviews and this Dev will get some feature in the App Store because this game clearly deserves it and updates will be quite welcomed                 Awesome Game

If you even remotely like Galga style games you will love this one Pixel art controls and sound are all perfect You can tell a lot of love went into making this game Highly recommend Update Absolutely loving the update for this Its gotten to the point where I am starting to compare every new shmup game to Galactic Nemesis I honestly cant find a single flaw in it The pixel work is great catchy old school BGM plenty of content its all there Ive noticed the dev is very active in gaming forums and listens to all feedback You definitely cant go wrong with this one My 5 star review still stands NOEN                 One of the best SHMUPS on the AppStore

This is a hidden gem of a game Its also the only one Ive ever seen in the App Store that has received all 5 star reviews so I had to check it out myself And the reviews are accurate If youre a Galaga fan you will like this game I used to be able to play Galaga for hours on one quarter Id flip the score back to all zeros I could get such a high score This reminds me more of the solid game Galaga was as the real arcade version when I was a kid more than the pathetic versions of it that are supposedly the real Galaga Ive seen so far in the App Store                 All These 5 Star Review are Real Accurate

We went to Smash Com and they were giving the game away to generate interest Well Im here to tell you they did not need to do that just playing this game one time and I was hooked I would have easily spent more for it Home run on this one I have many in my office now playing it We will start having a contest at lunch this week I have been practicing hard to compete against those 20 somethings                 Amazing game

definitely pick up Galactic Nemesis It is an excellent contemporary take on a classic arcade shooter This game has depth too6 power ups 8 different ships to unlock 3 different worlds with 12 multitiered levels and 3 overall endurance runs The scoring is competitive with stripped down ships and no power ups bringing the highest points if you are a leaderboard enthusiast The controls are simple one touch with auto shooting and they work flawlessly For the price this is a steal Plus a fourth world is currently being developed Galactic Nemesis for the win I know Ill be thinking about it when Game Of The Year titles are being floated around Yes Its that awesome                 If you love Galaga

Its good but IMO Warblade is the best of this type of game This game seems very basic and not enough attention to detail ie Is there an options screen where I can turn down the volume of the repetitive shot sound But its ok Maybe I just need to give it more time              Its good

If you love Galaga or Galaxian as I do you will love this game The relative touch controls work flawlessly The sounds and graphics are excellent There is no IAP There are upgrades and 3 different ships you can buy with in game coins There are a variety of enemy ships and patterns There is Gamecenter boards And last but not least No ads Thank you dev for a great time                 Hell yeah

Some solid foundations of a great shooter here however some things fell flat for me For instance the game starts out pretty slow and really doesnt ramp up until stage 5 or 6 and even then the levels are fairly easy However once you get to stage 9 the difficulty goes from medium to impossible adding obstacles to block your bullets and enemies that take what seems like 10 shots to kill Its also very unfair when an enemy swarm passes through you the life bar will continually drain Why not a short second of invincibility to regain your footing music is a short loop that repeats throughout the game which is fine and keeps with the whole retro 80s vibe No boss fights though there are a variety of enemies While touch play is good MFI compatibly in a future update would be nice The coin system is odd since you earn very little coins in game to really max out or upgrade to better ships Unless you want to grind for hours on easy levels but I cant imagine doing that No IAPs which is nice           Feels like a Galaga clone circa 1985

Finished 14 in my second attempt almost made it on the first try Final score of 62610 I was repressing squees all the way when the blue critters broke out in level four an audible squee was heard and my wife came in to check on me As a curmudgeon born in the 60s the old arcade classics like Galaga and Megamania on the 2600 still run through my blood If you were to somehow implement MFi controllers this would be amazeballs Right now though its dripping with awesome sauce and I cant wait to get deeper in the game unlock more level more ships and blast blue critters Thanks for an awesome ride and breathing life into some great buried memories You rock                 Memories Reborn

I love this game I have downloaded tons of space shooters and none of them save your progress you are always starting over from the very beginning every time you pick up the game For my busy lifestyle I have to have games I can put down and come back to later I love the old school feel the upgrades power ups and challenges This is the absolute best game of this type trust me I have played them all                 Best space shooter

Ive played many shmup games and Galactic Nemesis is by far my favorite Ive sunk countless hours into this superaddictive and rewarding game The developer obviously knows how to make a quality iOS title and is still maintaining it with updates the latest adds tons of Game Center achievements a whole new set of levels and new music The graphics and gameplay are spoton I literally cant think of a single bad thing to say about this The levels each have their own unique background and the scoring system really keeps you motivated to keep improving Also there are special goals that reward extra ingame currency If completed The currency is used to buy and upgrade new and better ships making your next run a little easier Ive gifted Galactic Nemesis out to many of my friends hoping theyll give it the time it deserves Simply put this is the best retro shooter Ive played on the App Store Well worth the low asking price Buy it once and play it forever no gimmicks just straightup awesomeness all around                 Brilliant Tribute to Galaga
