So I spent 6 on this only for it to be half off a day after Not cool Good game though              Sigh

After playing finished I thought about the game playing was very short for me mannequin mobs appeared just two at the map inside        Story was too short

Originally reviewed the game a 3 star for crashing and being incompatible with iPad mini even though it was suppose to be able to run on it Game now functions on my iPad mini works smoothly its visually impressive and he sound quality is great It brings me back to the original survivor game like resident evil which I applaud Definitely worth the purchase and recommend it to gamers                 Force closing

This game was awesome for the most part The graphics are great the storylines pretty good but the controls are super clunky the few and far between save points and the combat element against the weirdo mannequins just seems like an extra layer of complication its unnecessary           Great mostly

Title says it all these guys did a better job than what Konami will probably ever do again I dont ever put reviews in the App Store but this deserves some feedback This game is legitimately creepy with or without headphones the atmosphere will leave you absolutely uncomfortable the sound is great and the animations are perfect The save spots and overall gameplay give you a real nostalgic feeling too I seen a couple nods to classic survival horror games like the first zombie from RE turning its head at you etc I dont ever like paying for apps but these guys can take my money now and when they release PCConsole versions because I will buy it a second time when that happens later in the year Only complaint is the frame rate is a just a little choppy at times especially with motion blur on and that could have a lot to do with my hardware too on the iPhone 5s so Im sure its even better on iPhone 6 Otherwise this game would get a solid 55 Great job guys              F Konami for killing Silent Hill

I cant applaud this game enough Excellent Sound Grimly Beautiful Graphics and that true Survival Horror feel most games have lacked since the 90s This game was obviously created by hardcore fans like myself with as much care as possible The feel throughout is definitely Silent Hill Classic Silent Hill But you can feel if you havent taken note of all the actually classic Survival horror references throughout the influence from so many other games from Resident Evil to Fatal Frame to Alone in the Dark I appreciate ALL The work put in as an aspiring game designer myself and bet everyone on the team is awesome and well versed in the realm of Good games Of course nothing is perfect but Forgotten Memories isnt far from the line Rose could be a little more interesting herself although small details about her do come out in the form of comments from her when interacting with the hundreds of interactables Thats fine though and this is afterall the first episode So well see how she opens up down the line Also being knocked out of combat mode when hit by anything quite the pain but again that can be overcome Dont get hit lol right right Great Game cant wait for add one if possible before the next episode So much for frequent updates              Back to real Survival Horror

It doesnt save ur progress     No Save Every time a new Game

Its hard to review a game that force closes every time I open it up Tried reinstalling it and my iPad mini has the latest software update If youre going to charge me for a game even if its half off then you should at the very least make sure that such bugs are addressed Extremely disappointed     Cant even play it

Great over all survival horror interesting and visually excellent Personal issue here I dont have hours at a time to play and save places are far time wise between If I cant save progress as I need the game becomes impossible to move forward in story              Awesome

This game got me the chills during the whole of me playing Excellent graphics creepy sounds and just really scary in general I love the story line of this game and I really like the interactions I really cant wait for part 2 of the series                 Super Scary Excellent Story Line

I love this game Right from the start you get the chills Its nice and suspenseful The controls are simple gameplay is great originality is on point too Mannequins coming alive is very original indeed I am very glad i got this game BUT Once i found out the price got reduced it kinda bugged me knowing that i bought it just a few days before it got reduced Come on now really psycho games You gotta at least do something special for the people who bought the game when it cost 6 Kinda shady move right there           Once i found out the price got reduced

The controls are hard to figure out how to use I cant get the character to move where I want her to go My view just spins around and around giving me motion sickness and headache I want to keep playing but I dont think that I can make it much longer     Motion Sickness

The save system is a nice idea but if you ever get interrupted while playing you loose all progress up to the last save Theres no way to save except through the story itself Ive lost count how many times the game has gone back to the last save just because I got a calendar reminder On top of that theres NO MAP If you dont have a good sense of direction or you dont like mapping things out on paper Id pass on this one           Im done with this one

Everytime i go to start the game it blackscreens after it says the title however i was able to play a little bit of it and the little bit i played was great but please fix the crashing bugs           A few bugs

Phone games get a bad rap in hard core gaming circles and it goes without saying that while the survival horror genre is trying to slowly claw its way back to life the last couple years have been bad ones for the fans of old school Resident Evil and Silent Hill So I wouldnt blame anyone for being skeptical of this survival horror phone game But I can say with certainty as someone well versed in games that Forgotten Memories not only is a fantastic game it is a fantastic survival horror phone game and that makes it really special The game is lovingly crafted by the Psychoz team to harken back to the old days of the genre to the point where it honestly feels like a modern take on the old games I love The atmosphere is oppressive and perfect in the twisted asylum and the voice acting only cements its similarities to the games of yore The controls work exceptionally for a phone game and while it takes time getting used to them they work great once you are aquatinted My one and only possible knock on this fantastic piece or work would be its length which is actually quite short if all you want to do is fly through the game but if you stop to take in the atmosphere and examine some things and appreciate how neat this all is from time to time there is a reference to Deadly Premonition in here I kid you not the game is more than worth the money you pay for it That combined with the fact that more episodes to come makes this not only a milestone for phone games but one of the more significant survival horror games released in the past five years                 An Ode to Classic Survival Horror

The game is excellent I feel like the thing about horror games good horror games is that they give the player a sense of helplessness Slow movement and tight controls are all about that RE4 for example Fatal Frame etc Forgotten memories is an amazing horror game and to have it on iOS is a privilege that shouldnt be thrown away The game isnt really meant to be played in short spurts so if thats what your looking for youre outta luck bud However if you got time later in the day with an hour to spare or so play this game in the dark with the lights off You wont regret it                 A beautiful homage to the horror genre

Cons game continues to start at the beginning every time I log in navigating the character is not the easiest Im pretty far into the game I exited properly and it didnt save any progress or items Pros Im almost too scared to play alone Story line and voice overs are great Its an adrenaline rush        Not saving

Similar to Silent Hill and Clock Tower with references to even Twin Peaks this game is great Extensive graphics and control options with one glaring flaw the subtitles While I could forgive the weird translation for the spoken dialogue the subtitles are full of errors and often dont match up to what is being said Because of this the lack of a subtitle toggle or resize is a huge glaring flaw I havent tested controller support yet but I would try to use a controller if possible as the touch controls while functional are incredibly inconsistent Warning to those who buy this is very much the first episode of a larger episodic series Know what you are purchasing Episode 1 ends quite abruptly but there is supposedly a sequel in the works              Holds its own while referencing the best

I have already played through this game more than 5 times impressed by amazing graphics creepy sound effect and environment built and the story is very intriguing as well In general this is really a great game with console quality like the Silent Hill franchise My only complaint is the game is a little bit short as you can even finish it within 30 mins to unlock an achievement really hope there can be more contentstory to explore Cant wait for the rest parts of the Forgotten Memories franchise                 Best survival horror game on iOS NA

So I tried the game have all the qualifications to play it and all it does is crash on the home screen Every time I try and play it it says new game so I hit the button and the screen goes black then crashes The crashing makes it unable to use and really brings down he user experience a ton so this is a must fix     Unable to play

Ive never written a review positive or negative before but feel compelled now I had high hopes for this game because I grew up with and love those old survival horror titles The game started out promising but the combat mechanics made it incredibly frustrating I dealt with that But now I am at a spot staircase in nowhere after finding the elevator key where the game force closes every time I am on the stairs Every time This makes completing the game impossible and is inexcusable Shameful that a game is this glitchy considering my investment of both money and time that it took to get this point     Force Closing

Ive always enjoyed iOS games to a certain extent but never really to the level of something Id find on PC or a home console This game is the first one Ive played on the platform that got me as invested in much the same way as I have been for the classic horror titles While not without a few letdowns I still feel this game is a promising first part in a series as well as hopefully a sign of things to come from other developers Heres what I specifically enjoyed about Forgotten Memories Its scary What could possibly be worse than a horror game that just isnt scary Well this game had my guts stuck tight with anxiety from the word go all the way to the end I havent been this scared playing something on any platform in a long time The sound is incredible Not the voice acting which despite their best efforts in getting a couple folks from Silent Hill 2 is passable at best and just plain cringy at worst hem besides that the sound effects and acoustic modeling are absolutely topnotch and this is a huge reason why its so scary Many iOS games have poor sound quality or the mixing is so bland it may as well be mono and this game blows almost everything else away Its a fullfeatured classic survival horror experience including absolutely perfect MFi controller support I played through the game on both an iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Air 2 yes I do recognize its a lot easier to enjoy this very demanding game when youre using the latest hardware and Im thankful to have the opportunity with a Moga Rebel and it felt like as natural as I could have hoped So not only are the controls fantastic the gameplay itself involves exploring slowpaced scares and uncovering a surprisingly decent and intruiging story Im anxious to see the rest of Just man Id sure appreciate better voice direction and maybe one more draft on the script next time Guy was doing okay though p After beating the game I was delighted to see a few new things crop up here and there thanks for the 9mm with 100something rounds and having better items let me explore areas more thoroughly to discover a few extras I had missed While the game is short its pretty packed with detail and worth exploring and even replaying at least once Plus this latest version added one or two new scares I wasnt prepared for Jerks but thanks Anyway If you have a game controller and a newer iDevice I highly recommend it              Gives me hope for the future of iOS games

According to the developer Forgotten Memories will be getting Playstation and PC ports soon I have no idea why they did an iOS release first but God bless em for it This is as quality a game as youll find on the App Store As a lot of reviewers have said already its one of the best classic survivalhorror titles in many years If you liked the real RE and SH games get this If you can tolerate horror games and want to know what all the fuss over the real RE and SH games was about get this The main reason for negative reviews seems to be people not understanding the limits of their hardware You cant run a Playstation 4 game on a Playstation 3 You can try to run a game designed for a 6th gen iPad on a 3rd gen but dont expect a miracle Forgotten Memories video options are unusually extensive and you can disable various effects to get better FPS but that has its limits On any platform you need somewhat new hardware if you want to play demanding new releases You need even newer hardware if you wanna max out the graphics The developers description makes it obvious that this a graphically demanding game Use some common sense It looks fantastic on an Air 2 and runs perfectly smooth No crashes so far The touch controls are as fine as they ever are in 1st3rd person games Ive been using a controller and that works great Its great that a studio has revisited this genre to do it justice And for iOS of all things                 Best Classic SurvivalHorror for iOS

I simply dont understand why some people are whining over a great mobile survival title if the game doesnt work on your devices then its your fault for downloading it in the first place not the games mistake for they specifically explain everything and all you got to do is read or perhaps you just love throwing money away without even knowing what your getting I wont be surprised at all Regardless of that said when will you idiots learn if the game keeps crashing then reinstall or update your device I got this game on iPad Air 2 and it runs like a smooth butter on a fry pan So before getting into any conclusions I suggest you to try the game by giving it some decent hours first Overall this is an excellent game with great graphics smooth controls and it does everything it says flawlessly Just a lot of spoiled nut cases out there who are harder to please than queen of England                 You simply cant please everyone
