This app gets updated constantly yet it never improves Loading navlogs are painfully slow and buggy It s always been this way so I have no clue why it is constantly updated     Buggy slow MFLjr

FltPlanGo is one of the best aviation apps I have I can easily file flight plans have access to a Nav log along with weather and many uses I have the iPad and a mini iPad with 128 memory I can download all the data as well as maps Works seemlessly Best is show Best app Thank you Flight Plan dot com team members                     FltPlanGo Awesome Hjet

Looks good but does not work You can down load a sectional but that s about it I downloaded the offline maps Opened the sectional so far so good Touch a way point and it brings up the add to route ok good Pressed add to route bzzzzzz you lose doesn t work Wow talk about an epic fail How did this ever make it past testing I mean really the whole reason for the app just fails right out of the gate Didn t anyone ever even try to use the app even one time during development     Useless None11111111111111111111111

Have used for about 1 yr I am a flight instructor The good this saves me from constantly buying maps as well as approach charts User interface is fairly intuitive lots of features Less good It does seem to be a little buggy For instance app will crash when playing back breadcrumbs during flight review App will also crash when toggling between split screen and single view Have also experienced crashes when displaying approach plates in a geo referenced map view Overall a good or great app but not stable enough to replace more solid and stable technology             Not too bad Solomonwannabe

I just flew from Alaska to Florida in a two seater using this as my primary VFR navigation tool Combined with a home built Stratux there is an unbelievable amount of situational awareness on just my iPad mini Pros 1 Georeferenced charts 2 Ability to use US and Canada maps simultaneously may not seem like a big deal but it s something that Foreflight can t do It was helpful during my border crossings 3 Split screen feature 4 Extended centerline 4 Free Cons 1 The extended centerline is only shown for the last airport in the flight plan This makes sense if you only plan one leg at a time but if I m planning multiple airports it would be nice to see it on all of them 2 It crashes often especially if using multiple layers such as radar overlays 3 The most frustrating downside to this app that tempts me to upgrade to Foreflight is the random flight plans it automatically populates every time the app restarts When flying in Alaska I always had to delete a random flight plan in the southern United States before I could enter my own Then after a crash I had to deal with another random plan As a programmer myself it should be simple to save my latest flight plan when I m logged into the app That would make crashes much less frustrating Since I m cheap I ll stick to the affordable 0 FltPlan Go However I won t ever rely on it as a sole means of navigation until the bugs are worked out I ve been using the app for three years and the same bugs continue without ever being fixed                 Phenomenal for the price X112357

I love FltPlan Go But once 4 4 4 updated I can t open airport info or procedures when clicking on the airport in Maps The METAR data is there and there is a blank spot where the buttons used to be just no more buttons Can still them but takes more clicks now             Lost Feature in 4 4 4 JRW19423

I don t use this or any app as a primary navigation tool However being a new pilot I have required its assistance to get me back on track more than once It is nice not to thumb through books to get airport information instead it s just a touch of a button I suggest this app to everyone don t waste your money on fore flight                     Very impressed Steelsome

FltPlan Go is a great app but a serious memory hog because the sectional chart downloads are combined into huge files Because I live right on the border of the Twin Cities and Green Bay sectionals I have to download half of the entire US which fills my iPad storage with chart data I will never use Please let us download individual sectionals instead of or in addition to the current combined charts         Please unbundle sectional chart downloads Sciuropterus

This app mainly used as an electronic flight bag is easily one of the best aviation apps Its features rival leading paid or subscription based apps I use both foreflight and this Foreflight has an easier user interface and for extra fee synthetic vision But this app provides many features that Foreflight provides only in its more expensive pro version most importantly geo referenced plates and taxi diagrams and weight and balance I use this app when shooting approaches and taxing and use Foreflight during a planning and other phases of flight Before you pay for Foreflight pro try this app                     Best free aviation app and beats most paid ones NortheastTiger

It is a good app on the ground but it crashes frequently in the air where it is supposed to be used I decided to move to another app after this one crashed and basically froze my iPad I couldn t use any buttom to close the app or turn off my device Had to make a forced shutdown The problem is that I was flying at night under the Seattle Class B and using it as a resource for situational awareness I need something reliable so I chose another app             App crashes constantly G Michelin

I m a CFI CFI I and honestly I never comment nor rate applications because most of the time they re very bad developed and I don t waste my time on it But this app is OMG I can t believe that everything in here is for free I had foreflight and garmin pilot and you can get for free here what they wanna charge 150 year Moving map METAR TAF TFR s NOTAMS AF D W B performance calculations headwind X wind calculator etc etc etc everything for free I ve been trying the app since last night and so far I have never thing bad to say Way to go FltPlan Go                     I couldn t ask for more fedepilot

I love this app I only review apps that I vouch for 100 or ones that are terrible This app is a wonderful asset in the cockpit I ve used it in IMC and the geo referenced approach plates are a wonderful touch I don t know how it is still free Initially I added it as a substitution until I could afford Foreflight but with the newest features I have no intention of subscribing to it Fltplan Go all the way                     How is this free Brandon McCurry

Works about 95 of the time extended centerlines are cool but app is annoying when preselected routes are already loaded so every time I use the app I have to go and delete the route Sometimes crashes in flight and only way to get it to stop is shut off ipad and turn back on I fly everyday so this app is nice but not on the level of foreflight yet             Squak 1200 Squak_1200

I really like the app compared to others It works great with my GPS and it has many if not most of the features of paid apps I do wish they had the approach frequencies from the AFD in the airport section with having to go to the map The staff has also been great in promptly answering my newbie questions                 Great app Mystic Wolf Hedge Fund
