I bought this for a day trip to Firenze from Rome as Ive used a similar app in Rome made by a different company Without local service and the ability to use your Current location you are unable to enter any address to help get directions Also there are no options to remove items that you dont want to see on the map which leaves it a cluttered and frustrating mess This app may be moving in the right direction but its incomplete and wildly ineffective in its current state Save your money     Worthless without local service

This app has more info on small but interesting private buildings restaurants etc in florence than the rick steves or lonely planet guide Really cool if youre walking around and wondering whats around you                 greatness

I found this app to be a wonderful tool It is a great benefit to purchase a minimal data plan and monitor data usage Do not open the native iPhone map apps as they download the maps as you go gobbling up gobs of data The digiguide has a native map one download which then only uses gps data to update location minimal data usage                 Great App

I spent 3 days in Florence and found this app to be a waste of my time and effort You will do better with the free maps that every hotel gives you when you check in If you want to find a place to eat do a quick internet search of places to eat in Florence or buy any guidebook If you want to know about the sights take a tour or use the same guidebook you bought for dining suggestions        Waste of time and money
