Im compelled to review mainly due to the price I dont feel this app is a good value I tested various locations across the US thousands of miles apart and didnt find any significant variation in the analysisratings by day from location to location This makes me think this solunar information is fairly generic over wide geographical areas Or The app is doing it wrong I dont really know solunar theory in detail and dont care to research so ill give the developers the benefit of the doubt and assume it is a good implementation of the theory We are talking a terrestrial scale here so it may not be that variable in the scale in which most of us live Even so this info is presented in a monthly magazine i read for my area texas gulf coast anyways So unless the orbits of the earth and moon and sun i suppose are going to start varying drastically on a day to day basis this is a fairly static PREDICTION If you put a lot of stock in it it can be used to plan when to go and once you are there it aint gonna change So why pay 5 to have it on the phone rather than take a digital pic of the page in the magazine The fishing log doesnt work well I can verify that upon saving the catch spots move from where you put them Not a huge deal pretty close but its sloppyfor 5 app I can verify that logged catches exist on that device only I can verify that the app crashes when you try to add a pic latest ipad with latest ios updates 100 of the time You can manually put in weather info etc do you carry a thermometer and something to measure barometric pressure Me neither It would be more useful if it interfaced with a local weather underground station to plug that stuff for you THAT and incorporating tidal predictions and fixing the bugs above would maybe make this app worth 5 If you just have to have an app for solunar predictions go for it If solunar feeding predictions are just one of many inputs that you consider i cannot recommend this app It just takes up memory and drives up data usage for no real time data value Finally i do give them props on the clever promo video        If you just have to have solunar feeding times at hand

Well its not worth the cost thats a definite plus on days it says low efficiency I will kill them and some days it says is suppose to be a great day I get skunked Its honestly just not worth it its not accurate or fishing life changing save your money I wish I did     Ehhh

Not to many of these around so really dont want to get rid of it but the catch feature is completely disfunctional The catch and location pin points move after they have been set so it is useless The picture upload feature does not work again useless The only features that work are the soluner chart and the fish data entry But if the location and picture doesnt work there is no reason to enter the data Hopping for a fix or I have to keep looking and will ask for a return           Glitchy catch location

I dont know how it works but when this app says fish are biting you catch tons of fish Really helps to maximize your time when you only have a course of hours to fish Might as well go when they are biting                 Works Awesome

I had this app for a couple of years and was excited to finally see an update but I had to repay 499 to update and now it constantly crashes and will not export to iCal I now have paid for it twice and cannot use it Bad Bad move     Crashes after update

Fun app Although this app does increase upon the fishing experience there is a lot of room for improvements It seemed to have been created by an app designer and not a true fisherman At 499 I think it not ureasonable that they include tide and weather chart in calendar view Be able to attach Multiple pictures of my catches I would also like to be able to take a pic and add info of my tackle set up used to catch the fish A section of what I did with the fish after I caught it ex How i cooked it tagged andor released it etc and also be able to take a pic of the dish if desired I would also like to be able to put multiple sentences under notes that help in my success for the next time These are some of the thing that fisherman value Being able to do these things would take this app from gimmick to serious level Still a fun app tho                 I gave it 5 stars in hope that theyll improve it

Identical app to the hunting calendar Same info on both calendars Trust me I spent 10 for both apps Spend 5 for one or the other and youll have the same info Again info in apps is IDENTICAL Fishing days are true I havent tried it for hunting yet                 Same as hunting calendar

I fish salt I can only respond about that sandy hook nj I have always found tide and moon very important Just because u were there at the right time It will help but not put fish in ur cooler Thats why they call it fishing not catching                 Max ur time

Im in the Virginia beach area and I use this app for many locations around the Chesapeake I find it helpful to know the times along with the moon phases This app will help u fish at the rite times I have caught more fish with the help of this app its great                 Great app

at least NEW and FULL Moon Overall solid 4 stars Well worth 499 Would make the app not need accompanying apps that show moon phase on a monthly calendar on your fishing and hunting app If you guys had this included or as option on the calendar view Have a red whatever color circle or red in numbers of fullness like in your individual day view to show full and new moon and perhaps even quarters BUT at least have FULL AND NEW MOON DEPICTED ON CALENDAR VIEW Dont know if feasible but have it tied to NOTIFICATIONS to have option to get reminders with badges or banners of FULL AND NEW MOON Day of three days prior a d post Other than that great great app I would like to delete my moon app and just use yours as a one time shop PS As others have noted BAROMETER NEEDED TOO              Moon phase in calendar view

I like to keep a log on my iPad but carry my phone in the boat It would be nice able to send and receive data to both devices What can be done without adding by hand all the information              Syncing

Do not get this app it doesnt work the Facebook linking does not turn onand the only reason that the app it self turn on and give you a fish report is because it sync with the moon report the only thing it does and for that matter just get a free moon app     does not work

Ive been using this app for at least two years I have always suspected its tide charts were a little off Well this time it couldnt have been worse We had a really low tide this weekend The kind where you can see every rock and crab trap in the river It should have read dead low tide This app says its a rising tide almost high tide Now tides were not very high this weekend but the app was still very wrong Shopping for new app I have two stars because there is other data on this app that is interesting f such as moon phases fishing efficiency and so forth        Wrong

I like it easy to use understand and navigate Allows you to look forward and back at conditions Also the my catches makes it easy to file your catches dates times conditions bait and a lot of other things                 Recommend this

I think that this is the perfect app if you want to go fishin cause you might not know if the fish are bitten so you can just check and BOOM you caught a fish                 fishing calender rocks

I have been using this app since april 2011 and have not come accross another that can take its place I fish multi species 4050 times a year and have been logging most trips on this app I have had no problems on my 4S with location service or pictures as some other reveiwers have said Good product and you will use it I do weeklysure there are few things it does not do that I wish it did like tide and weather but there are other apps for those and the price is right              Good Product and Funuctional
