Extremely pleased with this app its genius Who wouldve thought that a FREE app could have a very convincing little 3 track music maker on your phone As a musician I was impressed with the level of quality of the drums bass synth sounds A big plus is that in UI is neat very easy and fun for anyone to use Whether on the go or when you have time to kill every music lover MUST have this app so go ahead and get it now                 Excellent Must Try

The ability to easily export figure files has disappeared It used to be easy to save files for backup or opening on another device Why remove this useful feature           No native export

Amazing app 14 years old and i can make millions of different beats I wish there was a way to extend the amt of time for my beat Its only like 30 seconds long I want it to be minutes long                 Awesome

I use this all the time Its great for creating good foundations for music even on the go and it has a great easy to use interface Im happy with the new patches on leads and bass that were added PLEASE keep them coming Ive tried other apps but none compare to this one I do have feedback that Im sure others would appreciate as well I hope you guys over at Reason Figure Take will listen to take into account 1 ORGANIZATION CAPABILITY FOR SONGS GROUPING LISTS Separate collections or lists to save to I have so many versions of songs virtually endless is an understatement that get LOST in the abyss and are extremely hard to find and is time consuming to do so The 2 ways to search currently in the interface can be helpful but honestly its not enough Thats the ONLY thing I hate about this app I dread trying to locate a song of any sort It would be amazing to be able to separate or ORGANIZE your music as the consumer see fit ie by song versions ideas styles custom type in fields for us to label them I guess kind of like any garden variety Ecommerce store would Wayfair Etsy or Amazon with how you can create lists and save items to it 2 SEARCH FIELD STAR THE SONGS OF YOUR CHOICE FOR EASIER FINDS If 1 isnt achievable than I think at least adding a search field in the browse section andor adding the capability to star the good ones for easy finds Hopefully 1 2 are doable 3 EASIER AND A MORE CLEAR SET OF INSTRUCTIONS IN HOW IT INTERACTS WITH REASON I am a figure queen Use is constant Due to this I am all Figured out and as an owner of Reason as well its unclear to me how to import my tracks to the program to elaborate on them Isnt that the point anyway Also I have questions concerning number 3 When this is done does it AUTOMATICALLY open the patches used in the Figure track in Reason This program is vast and I wouldnt even know where to start on pulling the matching patches up My other question concerning this is when it is openedimported into Reason are each patch kits used in Figure easily manipulated changed or deletable INDEPENDENTLY in Reason with all parts preserved as in Figure Example I made a track using all patches a bass a lead and a drum kit and I open it in reason will I be able to change JUST the drum pattern with the lead and bass patches preserved Long story short it would be helpful to have an accessible how to or page you can click on that will clearly explain how to maximize Figures capabilities with Reason since the company is one in the same This also would be helpful with the Take app I cant figure that out for the life of me but would like to I REALLY DONT THINK THATS TOO MUCH TO ASK GIVEN WE ARE CONSUMERS OF BOTH PRODUCTS AND WOULD LIKE TO USE THEM PROPERLY I love this app SO MUCH but I think these 3 things would make this a 5 star app and easier to use overall thus expanding and growth of the demographic you cater to PLEASE take these things into account           FIGURE PLZ READ LOVE but A LOT of feedback

When I tried this app out I was slightly disappointed that I was only able to make loops however that being said the app itself is easy to use and you will be able to make some sick loops in no time Great app for inspiration as well And it has a TON of sounds for leads which sound AWESOME I recommend                 Fantastic and Fun

This is like the Instagram of music loops I LOVE how this App doesnt give you canned drum loops or canned samples to simply patch together so every loop you make with Figure can be a completely original This little app has some great quality sound effects and its the perfect tool for getting inspired and creating some song ideas on the go Even if youre an experience producer that uses a full DAW like Ableton or Logic this App is not beneath you The Discover sharingcollaboration service is totally unique too and remixing other tracks is a ton of fun Check madewithfigure on soundcloud if you want to hear what the app can do                 Awesome

This app is absolutely awesome for making youre on music on the fly Its so simple it does not force you to use pre made drum loops and it allows users a lot of customizability over their sounds There is room for major improvements though Many times I find myself practicing a loop before recording and it sounds great Then as soon as I start recording it glitches and sounds terrible This has only happened to me while recording leads but it shouldnt happen at all Its almost as if the metronome distorts it or something Apparently there a lot of issues and complaints about exporting I havent tried to export anything yet myself but I dont know why any music making software or app would purposely make that difficult My last and biggest complaint is that I believe the pads should tell you what notes you are actually playing Its great that you can pick the key and tone but I believe it would offer a great learning aspect to the app if users were seeing what notes were actually in each key I believe it should be an option at least in case some users dont want the clutter of writing on the pads I might even give it five stars if only that aspect was changed           Great could be better

This is really great The more I use this the more I appreciate its capabilities Its simple and creative fun I wish Figure had a decent sequencer because this thing rocks and can stand on its own Im laughing at Jareditors comments in his review This blows my mind                 Missing a righteous sequencer

No midi support is a bit lame I cant share projects from my phone to my iPad or to my friends via email     No midi support

I was an early user of Figure and loved it a lot Now Im stuck in verifying to log in just to get tracks out since they removed basic export functions I paid for this and now its unusable So new users beware it may be free now but getting stuff out is not within your control     Useless for me now

This app is kind of fun for someone that likes to make horrible music with terrible sounding synths this app was 5 when I got it This app should give you money for hear the synths you can only make annoying loops and it is glitchy and hard to use DO NOT GET     Bad Do not Get

Easily one of the best apps in the App Store With all the different sounds included AND the choice to tweak them youre given an unlimited variety of different sounds In spite of this however it could still use a couple different options like quantizing in rhythms in anything other than duplets being able to record multiple basslineslead synths on top of each other being able to easily change key without being in an atonal mode the freedom to add more bars to your loop and changing your time signature But especially for a free app the options provided to you sufficient enough for making a pretty sick beat Great app propellerhead I cant wait to see what updates are in store for this app                 Yes

I switched to iphone specifically for this app The interface is utterly nextlevel and opens phresh musical paths to walk for DAYS Would throw if these guys developed a fullyfledged DAW similar to Figure                 Too Good

I use this when I dont have access to my computer but it can be an insanely powerful inspirational tool Just like Reason there is a little bit of a learning curve but you can draw the line on how simplistic or complex you want your soundsloops Just wondering if there are any plans to be able to export into Reason itself somewhere down the road              Awesome

Here it is Program is awesome if you love getting your music away So they named their other program take because they will and they will tell you in their agreements that you are giving them permission tohave their music so to appropriately named TakeAlso they say that you dont own music you make with their software so pretty much they arent cool In fact Ive been told things Ive mad with their software is on the radio Who knows     Th y deleted my other review sooooooo

This is the exact thing I was looking for its so fun and amazing this needs to be big and get popular so people can share their music theres currently no music uploaded in it so Im sad                 More people need to have this app

The drum keys should be divided horizontally as well to better separate two sounds when available Its too hard to be precise currently And a 16bar length option needs to be added to the song options Also stop asking me to sign in     Needs 2 KEY Improvements

Long time user There are many things I like about this app but when exporting to iTunes you get a hard cut of the loop without the audio trails Almost every sound in figure has a decently long release stage and this is abruptly cut off exactly at the end of the loop Exported loops used to trail off properly about 56 updates ago I also strongly suggest a batch export to iTunes radio button in the export page Being able to flip a switch and instantly export and rename 6 individual wav files one for each sound kicksnarehatspercbasslead would speed up the export process immensely Can we get the pinwheel to go up to 32 timing rather than the current 16 limit This would allow for slower songs with fast arpeggiation Can we have an additional octave on the bottom of the scale and an additional octave at the top of the scale 5 total If not can we have a pitch tweak for each instrument Can we have one more lead instrument 2x total Id love to be able to have more tweak parameters for each instrument I suggest like how patches are changed to be able to swipe left or right to access 3 additional tweak parameters and so on I think the limit would be 12 tops given cpu loads for automation Not being able to change the ADSR for many of the patches makes their uses limited I like a sound but cant use it in a certain context because of this Drum kits could have reverse and multiplier tweaks added for rolls etc I would gladly pay a premium for all of these features as an inapp purchase I also believe you could charge a minimal amount for additional sound packs as well Are you hiring           Please fix audio trails when exporting to iTunes

This is a wonderful app and despite what the negative reviews say the basic export functions are STILL available in the song browser Youre crazy not to download this app Just make sure you have an understanding of this incredibly intuitive app before you leave a negative review                 Ignore the 1Star Reviews

I knew this app was going to be good sound wise as I had Propeller head Reason on my desktop as a kid However this is far more accessible and I Love it                 Easy and accessible

I absolutely live this app but just wished it had more export options Id love a way to export individual instruments within tracks drum bass and lead Currently the only way to do this is to mute the other tracks and resave the track This is very cumbersome Its much easier to mix tracks in a DAW with individual tracks The ability to export from within tracks not just from the browser would be great as well Also when you rename a track it creates a duplicate track for some odd reason The ability to create tracks at 16 or 32 bars would be great as well                 Awesome
