Recently I attended a code conference which endorsed this as their official event app Given the credibility of the conference I was expecting a simple usable app Before I even got the conference schedule cracks began to show For starters I had to make an account Why There was no reason It was just an onboarding barrier but I soldiered on Next the interface is just ridiculously clunky The session titles were often truncated with no way to see the full title even in landscape The event was 4 days long and the full event list would start at the top every time you opened it meaning you had to scroll every single time to the current day From this same view I couldn t tell which sessions I had favorited Also favoriting something really meant add it to my agenda so why not just say that Removing items from your agenda meant unfavoriting yet again not intuitive Lastly the survey feature which I genuinely wanted to use to praise speakers was so annoying that I outright ignored it Firstly why not send me a notification after the session has completed Secondly why make me type in a number to rate Also the keyboard covered the comments section so it s impossible to see what you type until you close the keyboard sigh It should barely depend on wifi conference wifi is notoriously sketchy anyway I think this app has potential but in my opinion it needs a ton of usability testing and rethinking for the common user     Any conference should be embarrassed to use this Gunblade77

Most people use this app once or twice a YEAR It is unnecessary for the user to give up their email address to use this app in such manner At the very least make it optional     App should NOT require email address lanwarrior

Conferences have horrible wifi and an app that needs to update itself on every launch is useless most of the time And I often want to quickly check why where I am going or what is next but I have to navigate all the way back it from selecting the conference that I am currently at to which day it is and finally which session in a given time slot The ability to review a session has the same challenge that I need to find my session by first finding my conference and then the day and finally the time slot I strongly recommend conferences stay away     Useless cumbersome tool Maragnus

Using this app at CodeMash makes me wish for a more modern version that makes better use of the larger screens on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Could see a lot more if they d update the app for that rather than seeing everything in giant type             Functional but dated especially on 6 and 6 Plus mattbehrens
