Great app but the last update messed up the apps ability to sync my commentaries with the bible passages in the main window I will be reading Ezra 9 and open a commentary and it does not take me to Ezra 9 Also when I go to a certain verse it takes me to the wrong verse This is extremely inconvenient The app also often crashes randomly Please fix these issues        New update issues

I love this app Works great I get to sync my bible between all my devices I always have my bible with me I love this app it helps a lot with my study I have used other study apps its not that there bad I just have found the Olive Tree study to work best for me I can create my own highlights tie verses together with links and many other cool things that have really added to my time in the Word Whether it be through the daily verse one of the reading plans that are provided or my own study The Strongs and other optional booksstudy helps are very reasonably priced                 Great tool in my walk wthe Lord

I have thoroughly enjoyed this app I love how I can just highlight a word and I can get the definition I have bought several others that I use with my study Suggestions if you could link the maps in the same way and describe the cities mentioned If they had different names and how far they had to travel                 Best Study Ever

This study Bible includes the Hebrew and Greek lexicon for just about every word simply by tapping the word or phrase of interest If i really want to delve into original meanings of passages and interpretations this is a great study Bible I love to use it in church to take notes right in the ap on scripture passages as my pastor teaches them Of course the content of the Bible receives 5 stars however I rated the ap 4 because I still have difficulty selecting text rather than looking up words This may be operator issues but it would be nice to be able to select text for highlighting or for copying a little easier Otherwise I really enjoy using this ap and it enhances my ability to understand the meaning of the original writings I also love the variety of reading plans Thank you                 Serious Study Bible

Years ago while traveling if I were doing Bible Study I would have to load up numerous books Now everything is on my IPAD Study guides commentaries Strong Concordance maps The Word of God is always with me easy to access and study Olive Trees support has been outstanding as they responded to an email I sent This has been money well spent                 Bible Study

This is a great app to have on your iPhone or iPod Touch Its like a bible that fits in your pocket Forget your bible or dont feel like lugging it while hurrying to get to church or a homecelllife group during the week No worries you have one with you at all times with this app I love how easy it is to look up book chapter and verse Thank you for making this                 Easy to use very useful app

Love this app but the most recent update is very frustrating to use Many times when trying to load a verse the app will end up on a completely different chapter and verse Dont know why Im running the latest iOS with the latest update Please fix           Newest update doesnt load correct verse

Ive been using this as my main Bible app for over a year and have loved it until this last large update With this update it has become slow and buggy Jumping to verses is laggy and imprecise For example when I try to go to Psalm 56 I end up at Psalm 60 Also the new interface seems nice but like it was rushed There are windows that have font that is much too big but the option to change has been removed Hopefully these issues will be addressed soon as this is still a fabulous tool for Biblical study     Favorite Bible appor was

I really like the Olive Tree ESV with Strongs and have used it for several years Being able to add my own notes and have them remain update to update is a super feature This latest update though has taken things down a notch When using the Goto button to search it often is now off by several verses The scrolling is also noticeably slower and somewhat spotty My iPad is a couple years old so in theory it might not be as up to the task but it was working perfectly before the update           Latest update

So far so good Really like the new version of this app Will recommend it to anyone who wants to have a bible study tool in his iPhone iPad                 Great app

Olive Tree You are Simply Beautiful it would take too much space to Tell all of The Things I Love about Your Apps because Im Still Discovering New Ways to Use the App and Finding New Things that I didnt know about I will make it a Point to watch help Videos now I Love The way The App has Enhanced my Bible Study I have no excuses now in the past I would have to stop my Studies to go get one of my hard copy resources and it would aggravate me for have to get up and break my flow But with You those Days are Gone Im also happy that I can still use the App on my old 3G so if Im near water like a pool I have no concerns Thank You All For Such A Great App Hugs In Christ JESUS                 Best Bible App

I like this app for the same reasons others have mentioned I would give it five stars but since you have to tap the screen to open word and verse notes but you also tap the word to open the lexicon it can be very difficult to tap just right in between words in order to open the notes It gets frustrating at times and I just give up              Good Bible app

Useful plans easy to navigate but keeps pushing notification colored fonts tries to do too much but Id you ignore the extras its handy and works well              Good reading plans

Really helpful for study Great in app additions like maps commentaries etc i love the pop up strong sand cross references I use it every Sunday and Wednesday to lead bible study and sermons I copy out into my personal notes Great for copying into text messages to encourage others with scriptures Like the sync option so my bookmarks book ribbons and current passage are shared between my iPhone and iPad                 Awesome app

Single language translation Cant compare to other translations But the embedded Strongs is all the comparison translation needed Id like the app to remember where Ive been via search results Ive selected so I can skip back and forward through those scriptures Id like it to be like a web browser Press hold on an icon then pick where I want to look from a pop up list                 The ONLY disadvantage

The Olive Tree ESV with Strongs Bible study iPad app is an excellent tool for daily reading lesson prep and note taking The hyperlink keywords bring up original language words with Strongs definitions at the touch of the screen and allow for instant whole Bible searches for each word making discovery of the authors original intent extremely easy The split screen option allows for note taking while the text is up eliminating the need to swipe over to another note taking app and notes are easily synced to Evernote Split screen also makes translation comparison effortless reducing the tendency to misuse Strongs definitions by trying to attribute every possible meaning of a word to every occurrence One addition that would move me more toward 5 stars would be if the store was organized so that resources already purchased but not downloaded to a particular device automatically showed up at the top of the list              Intuitive time saving Bible study

I have had several versions of the Bible on my IPad and all have been good but this has great features                 Great app

Let me start by saying that I love my Olive Tree app and wouldnt trade it However this latest update has left me a little uneasy First off beware that if you havent updated yet your whole library will have to be redownloaded if you choose to update Your settings will be reset as well which if youre like me youve customized all the fonts colors gestures etc for pop up windows split windows and every thing else so this takes time to go back in and reset Now the bigger problem is with the navigation My Go To is hit or miss on whether it moves to the right verse or not If you choose Go after you pick book and chapter it does not work The new buttons for Library and Go To are very large and look out if place The margins have been brought in for full screen mode so now there are fewer words on the page I really liked that the text used to take up almost the entire screen Im still finding things here and there but mostly I wish I didnt have auto update turned on because I much prefer the previous version Ive spent a good bit of money on my library and I feel like this is a downgrade Hopefully more people will provide feedback and they can get some of these kinks worked out              Update is suspect

This is the best Bible study tool Ive ever used I love how you can organize your notes into categories and how you can split the screen to take notes on half the screen while reading the Bible on the other half Also love all the options for fonts and highlighting tools Really love the concordance Love EVERYTHING about this app                 Best app

Gods Word cant be improved upon but its presentation often can This is a really useful app that is easily and intuitively navigated I can use it across all my platforms iPhone iPad iMac smoothly Word searches are instantaneous and adding Strongs was well worth it for defining the original Hebrew and Greek words and finding where else each is used After my printed paper Bible this is my go to Sword                 Smartphone Bible how it should be

Love the app Have had no issues with updates even though I have an older version of iPad Love that everything syncs between versions Notes are easy and Im not even using that feature to its full ability App works even better on my desktop Thanks for obviously using what youve created It shows                 Great App

Ive been using olive tree bible reader since I was carrying around a palm pilot and a HP Jornada personal assistant It simply works the way a digital Bible should work Its completely intuitive I cant imagine how youd improve upon it                 Excellent
