• The overall user interface is tastefully designed with careful attention to detail and functionality.

• Alert notifications (alarms) for tasks with due times, plus automatic updating of the app icon badge. Works even when Errands is not running (iOS 4 only). This is the initial support for alerts and more flexibility and options will be coming soon.
• Full support for folders, so you can organize your tasks to best suit your needs (for example, Work, Home, Errands). You can have as many folders as you wish and folder attributes (name, icon, checkbox) are fully customizable.
• A monthly calendar view for tasks with due dates. To access it, tap on the calendar icon on the bottom toolbar. The calendar displays items based on the current folder you are in. To see all tasks, choose the calendar from the All Tasks folder.
• View options allows you to switch between normal view (4 tasks per screen) and condensed view (8 tasks per screen).
• Mail tasks (single tasks as well as entire folders).
• You can select from a built-in collection of stock images, choose a photo from your library, or take a new photo to customize your tasks.
• A unique feature allows notes to be viewed as a checklist. This is particularly handy for small shopping lists, multi-step tasks, etc.
• Tasks can be scheduled with a due date / time. There is a full range of repeating options.
• A convenient Recycle Bin allows you to easily create new tasks from previously completed entries. This is a big time-saver given that many tasks are things that are done again (and again). And saving data-bits from the virtual landfill makes you feel good!
• Tasks can be sorted by various schemes as well as arranged manually.
• Each task has a title along with separate detail and notes fields.
• Customize Errands to fit your tastes using the built-in Settings.
• Multitasking / Fast App Switching (iOS 4 only).

Try it! Great for ADD ADHD
Love that I can try the app before i buy it (upgrade to premium). And, buying is optional for all of you who don`t believe in supporting app developers and their dogs.
I have been looking for a checklist, with alarms, and tasks that show on a calendar. I love the "nag me" alert that goes off every minute! Perfect for me since i have ADHD - in other apps, the alarm goes off and I have time to squeeze in one more thing, get distracted, and miss the deadline or when I try setting the alarm so I don`t have enuf time for another task, most times, I haven`t left enuf time to finish the one that is due either! Being politely nagged is great! The display is "happy" and I can turn notes into a checklist task. This app has everything I need.
Excellent App only getting better
This is my first real review. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to its creator. You have created a truly useful and top notch app that I use more than any other including games. I first downloaded Errands because it looked to be the best of all of the free organizational apps. It turns out that it is better than the paid apps as well . It`s simple to use, but can handle the workload of a CEO. Plus, this app keeps getting better. Always improving, because I believe this app`s creator actually cares about making a product that is the best at what it does. I use the Getting Things Done management system to organize my life, and this app has been nothing short of the backbone that keeps it running. What it does, it does better that any other apps out there, and what it doesn`t do, I`m sure will be added in time. I would like to see places with each task that you could add in how much time and energy a task takes. I would also like to see a way to put tasks as sub-tasks of bigger tasks (or projects). With that being said, it is without a doubt a 5-Star App, and I was more than happy to have paid for mine. If you love this app and have not yet paid, please consider it because it is well worth the money, if not, maybe you can leave this person a nice review.
This app has simplified my life! At night before going to bed, I enter all the things I have to do the next day. In the morning, I just open up my task list and get to work. No more forgotten phone calls or errands. I love being able to set recurring tasks and have a different alarm for each. I also love being able to set it to recur on certain days - every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Or just weekends. Or the second Wednesday of each month. Very handy for keeping track of a crazy schedule.
My favorite thing is to be able to sync it with other devices. Input everything on my iPad, take it with me on my iPhone. So cool!
Thanks for such a great app!
