EMS BLS Guide

As an NJ EMT I find the app useful however it has too much ALS specific content outside of my cert good app however              Good App not enough BLS

I used the flip guide every day this app blows the guide out of the water and works very smoothly would recommend it for any EMT or medic                 Great app

Very little info for 6 Not very helpful for anyone taking an emtb course as all the good info pertains to als and additional info is very general I would not recommend wasting your money     Ok

I think this app is a great tool for BLS providers or even the layperson who wants some advanced knowledge of basic life support The app covers everything from trauma to medical emergencies and even has a list of common medications The only thing I would like to see is a dedicated section for bleeding Bleeding control is only briefly mentioned in respective sections but doesnt have its own How to apply different dressings and tourniquets would be a great addition to this app and would make it 5 stars for me For now 45              Good app could use some upgrades

This seems more aimed at AEMT I feel a little misled based on BLS being in the title isnt as applicable to my EMT class as i thought it would be Nice presentation though           Needs to be more bls specific

For years I bought the flip guides from them as a quick reference guide and was never dissatisfied with the quality of information The applications are that much more convenient and an invaluable resource for the EMT in the field These guides can be used to study refresh on some techniques that you may not use frequently or just as a training aid when on down time                 EXCELLENT RESOURCE

There Are a lot of bugs and problems that need to be taken care of I enjoy the app it has good information but there are issues regarding crashes not being able to change the page and slowness Again I enjoy the app but I hope that the app does get a new update which will fix this        Bugs that need fixing

Design flaw makes it impossible to access the continue reading buttons at the bottom of some pages I cant access a lot of the content Too bad because what I can see is pretty good     Bad design

A nice compilation of commonly used acronyms and calculators among other things              Helpful tool

I find this guide to be based more on ALSACLS than BLS However as an EMT working in an ER I find it extremely helpful You can find a little bit of everything in here from basic EKG rhythms to pediatric intubation I              More ALS but very helpful

Simple to use and informative                 Great app

The idea behind the app is great as is some of the content but there is room for improvement with its design First the app doesnt look good on the iPhone 5 There are about 14 inch black bars on the top and bottom of the screen so the app is not taking advantage of the bigger screen Second most of the content pages cant be read at a glance They look like shorthand notes someone typed in a Word doc and then colored the text a little They lack organization headers anchor links and fail to take advantage of the iOS user interface It feels like a compilation of some quick notes It really does NOT feel like an app Also its pretty overpriced I hope the developers will consider these in the future           Helpful but there is much room for improvement

This is a great app The reason why I am giving it four stars is because this app is not meant for EMT Basic but for advanced EMT so its a matter of preference              EMT
