Ive been using this app to help one of my autistic student He seems to really like it It is simple enough for him to choose his options of emotion However it would be nice to have more options to choose from I like the fact that students can record and listen their own voice usetake pictures of how they are feeling and also write in the journal Good with autistic kids
I just started using this app with a second grader who is on the spectrum and he took to it right away I took pictures of all the places in the school where lessons occur and created a folder for him to use with his journal When my student gets angry or upset I send him off to tell it all to the iPad and it helps him calm right down One major drawback is students could very easily delete their own and other student folders because the password does not protect that in the student menu I also wish there was a way to send adult notes through email or to dropbox Has Potential to be a powerful classroom tool
