This app is terrible I am a print subscriber attempting to download the May issue as the June issue doesnt even display as an option although I have the June issue in print version Anyway the download got stuck and didnt finish And all I have is a black screen Looks like Ill be sticking to my print versions     Poor App

Ive been waiting for an update for months Still cant download one single issue     Could we get an update please

I cant get the Mary Mary issue to download It says that I have purchased it took my money but then it says it cannot verify purchase Im having a hard time posting this review because of nickname issueseriously     Upset

Why is it taking you so long to fall in line with others magazines to show up in the news stand area Are you not following the same standards        News Stand

I am a current subscriber and would love to view the issues on my IPAD however whenever I try logging in with my subscription information it cant verify There is no reset password option Have sent emails to customer service but no response I even called and asked for someone in their digital media deptthey dont have one is what I was told so she was trying to assist me from a script This is horrible service     Subscriber dilemma

I have yet to receive my January 2014 issue What is going on Black companies are sad I have no troubles receiving my Glamour issues     Awful

I was elated when I received my latest Ebony mag in the mail and it had numerous advertisements claiming that you can now get it on your IPad However after downloading and deleting this app numerous times I realized that Ebony has prematurely released this app it simply does not work Either get a group of developers that know what they are doing or just stay in the Stone Age Im thoroughly disappointed You all have to do better than this and you should be embarrassed     Get it together please

I was hoping that the app was fixed when I added it today NOT Dont waste your time it doesnt work no matter how many times you register you still cant open it This is the only magazine app that doesnt work     DisappointedDont waste your time

Every month Im instructed to purchase the magazine but my subscription doesnt expire until October 2014 I tried to re register but it keeps saying it doesnt recognize my account     disappointed

What the heck kind of app is this The issue that I just purchased for 399 is not downloading I want my money back They need to fix this and why isnt the magazine available on the Newsstand like the other magazines Waste     What the heck

App needs a few updates to enhance ease of use Like maybe page turning and double tapping to increase size instead of using pinch method Also maybe add bookmarks and highlight tools Love that I can access my subscription on my iPad           Happy I can use app to read issues but

Unlike other magazines on the iPad the ebony app is not available on the newsstand which i believe affects the quality of the product For example pages look like theyve been scanned into a computer and then coded to the iPad so the font is tiny and you have to expand the page to read the graphics did not transfer well so image are highly pixelated and load in pieces if you go to another app on the ipad and then back to the magazine it does not save the page you were on Unlike others i have not had an issue downloading the magazines but as most have said i suggest you stick to reading the print pages until Ebony gets a new digital developer to fix this The differences between the newsstand magazines and Ebonys app were blaring to me as i finished reading Essence then opened my issue of Ebony and was greeted with the mediocrity of the product content is good as always        Needs to be redone

As of November 19 I have not been able to get the December issue Im quite sure my local newsstands have the latest issue Why am I unable to get it Please fix this problem soon     UNABLE TO GET CURRENT ISSUE

Subscription is active but I have been unable to open my magazine When is this going to be fixed You have the funds I want my merchandise its only fair Disappointed consumer     DISAPPOINTED

Doesnt show up in the newsstand thats a downer But if you can get an issue to download every time you turn a page or two it goes blank and you have to pull up the issue all over again and start over Imagine what a pain this was when I downloaded an issue from Feb 2012     This app needs an overhaul

Previously downloaded this app when J Scott was on the cover Didnt have an issue with it initially Now its time to download the next issue there are problems Please fix this patch soon or Ill be requesting my 399 back           Crashy app

Im thoroughly disappointed in this app I have a yearly subscription to a magazine that I cant access or read Currently the app doesnt even open for you to at least previously purchased magazines Its ridiculous that the company administrators havent developed a fix for this problem or at least offered to refund or mail the magazine to subscription holders Poor customer service     Disappointed

I Cant log in The button states restore successful but to no avail The app will not download the magazines I have a subscription to Ebony and a full year carryover from Jet neither works Take lessons from Essence app No customer service number on the website for Ebony Jet is a recording stating purchase transfer to Ebony Get this together people respond to emails Next step BBB     Frustrated

This app is terrible No one from Ebony has obviously tested this app Im a long time print subscriber whove tried numerous times to register for the iPad edition to no avail I have also emailed Ebony customer service about this problem and have yet yo get a response Worst of all Jet is now going digital Hope Johnson publishing does a better job with Jet My Essence and People magazine app works perfect Ebony is the only magazine app that doesnt work     Terrible app

I cant reach anyone to discuss issues with my subscription The current issue of the magazine March 2014 wont download The January 2014 issue of the magazine is MIA This is no way to treat your customers        Frustration

Print copies arent coming to my home anymore I have registered twice for my digital copy I STILL cannot login and access my digital copies If they cannot get this digital app to work then they should take it down This is annoying at best as they already have my freaking money Next I will be filing a complaint with BBB attorney general of my state     Ripoff

This app still does not work I cant receive my previous issues I cant get through a single article without it crashing I was excited about being able to order a yearly subscription only to find out that the app still has major issues Very disappointed and frustrated Youd think that Ebony would have the resources to get these issues taken care of I cant read any of the previous issues only the current one And it still crashes Ridiculous Since the latest update Ive been unable to open the app It worked fine for awhile     Worst app ever

After my magazine mail subscription expired I download the app and purchased a new subscription for one year Well after 6 months I am unable to download any magazines so instead without my permission they started send them through the mail again How can I fix this problem I have already deleted and downloaded the app and still no magazines     Problems

My problem has nothing to do with shutting down but the overall view is so ancient Way to many pixels everything is crooked and ugly not one clear word or straight line just fuzzy The worst looking digital magazine I have seen thus far     Just ugly

This app doesnt seem like its optimized for the IPad I can barely read the words and when I zoom in the words are blurry        Needs and Update

Its January 15 2015 and Januarys issue is still not available for download When my subscription runs out in August I never want to see Ebony magazine again If I was given a year free magazines I would not want them because its very annoying to be halfway thought the month and still only have access to last months issue Every review I give is bad Whoever is reading this just buy a hard copy because the app is crap     Disappointed

I just recently bought an iPad mini two and downloaded the app Im not sure what problem everyone else is experiencing so unless they just recently fix the problem everything seems to be working fine              Works for me

What a waste Ive used this app for 3 years It is inconsistent Sometimes you have to shut it down and reboot sometimes you can view past issues sometimes you cannot The most frustrating part is the lack of support from customer service and any technical support I will terminate my electronic subscription and consider a paper subscription This app compared to other sites is sub par     Woks sometimes sometime it doesnt

After purchasing the subscription Im being prompted to purchase the next month Also not able to read after downloading unless you are connected to the network     So regret subscribing

This is a very poorly designed app that only allows for a two page layout font is too small adjusting it distorts the page Could not read this Sorry I purchased a refund is in order Please redesign Will not purchase another issue     Disappointed reader
