E*TRADE Mobile Pro for iPad

Crazy While I can log in the browser on mobile ipad constantly gives me an error that user ID incorrect and the help desk staff at their end get a log that shows successful log in Never heard of that tried all downloading app again changing passwordno resolution yet     Login issue

Not a sexy app but functional enough for me Though I had to switch to classic view because the new view only seem to work in landscape and I always have my iPad portrait           No portrait mode with the new layout view

Hope this can be added soon The rest of the app works well for me              Touch security is a must have

Etrade really needs to get with the 21st century and invest money on a good app platform The experience is nothing like being on the website which itself is back in the early 2000s and is elementary at best No detailed break down of your individual stock portfolios just cumulative values per stock So while you can buy and sell on the app if you have any intention of selling by lot you need to use the website Try to read the provided news features in the app and watch the article disappear as you scroll down until only two or three lines appear Did anyone actually test this Want to see which of your stocks is approaching exdiv date That will mean having to click on each stock and see its profile have fun with that when you have any sizable mix of shares Basically while the baby is great marketing etrade is seriously behind in the app department and really cant be considered a valuable tool for grownups     1990 in 2014

Things started badly and no change from there It appears to accept my user name and password and now it hangs trying to load my portfolio data     App just hangs after logging in

Why jam so many sections in one page Bad design Clean up the mess please     Horrible layout

Since the most recent update no one in my company is able to actually see their accounts We can login We can see the individual accounts our personal accounts but when you click on one all you get is cannot load Of course we can pull up old accounts that we have closed outbut nothing current Absolutely useless     Absolutely useless on iPad

Using this app is pure torture     Buggy slow useless garbage

I love this app because it dose what it says you can trade You can buy stocks on the app so it is perfect                 Fantabulous

The most glaring thing I notice is that the iPad app is MUCH slower than the iPhone app Whats up with that When the performance isnt plain slow it can be ludicrously slow Or it may just hang up altogether If the iPad version of etrade was any slower it would go backwards Have I made myself clear     Slow is too good a word for this app

The website and droid app are great but on the iPad app you cant do A LOT No access to bonds or many other features that would normally be under the research tab You cannot cancel or change an open order Its extremely limited sort of difficult to navigate Stick to the phone apps when mobile Major drop of the ball here     I love ETrade but this app is really terrible

My comments are strictly for the banking component of the app and not the trading component of which I do not use Although there are some positive aspects of the app such as the ease of transferring money the app does a poor job with addingsubtracting various transactions in their checking savings accounts My Bank of America app can do this why cant ETrade Also some transactions are MISSING on the app that are in plain sight on the website This is not good        Banking Issues

Can ETrade not afford talented iOS developers After all this time its still the only iOS app Ive encountered that requires you to hold your iPad with the home button at the bottom This is in direct violation of Apples guidelines If you prefer the home button at the top the app should work the same not be upside down On top of that the apps functionality remains lackluster CNBC streaming used to work flawlessly and then it didnt I switched to the Bloomberg TV app long ago which means Ive gone from using ETrade daily to using it rarely        Blah

First let me go out saying I love the Etrade iPhone App Its Wonderful Reason I stay with Etrade and tell others to join It rich and also physically appealing This iPad app is all great under the hood But I dont know really how to put it but the text and everything is too small I usually use the iPhone app on my iPad because of the large visuals I currently use the older design for the iPad app because everything is larger This iPad app is just a bunch of text spread out more Nothing really takes advantage of the larger iPad screens The portfolio view on the iPhone is the best on the iPad it is lacking clunky and misses features that the iPhone version has like tap to trade Etrade is the best trading platform out there by far so I know they will read and take my comments into consideration For those looking for the best broker do choose Etrade There iPhone app is the best The iPad app just needs some work and better tailoring for a larger eras and this will be great screen device Simply Put Bring Back something like the Old Design Just with Prettier Visuals The iPad should be the perfect device for Mobile Trading Make it that Put some Etrade Pro on th     Love the platform Not this App

iPad version hasnt been upgraded for iOS 8 It keeps resetting itself to the initial use state losing all user supplied setting Very annoying Needs improvement over all in capability At least allow ability to sell from individual lots like the web site and to research stocks bonds and funds from the app I dont expect it to provide everything that the web does but at least make it so you dont have to leave the app to intelligently buy and sell        iOS 8 broke it

Couldnt find an email address for app support so The alerts window doesnt filter alerts correctly Oldest alerts are at the top of the list with newer alerts somewhere in the middle Please fix this Otherwise I love the app     Alerts view broke in version 32

Layout is a mess too     No Touch ID for iPad

I am not liking all the partial windows Scrolling thru news is a nightmare Over all the app needs improvements Why does the iPad app show different results than my iPhone        Not Very User Friendly

So many obvious features missing 1 cant get stock alerts based on stock upgrades or downgrades 2 cant send messages from iPad mobile 3 charting feature pretty poor Etc etc        App missing so many obvious features

Why does the iPad version lag so far behind the iPhone No touch security function Also if you are trading more than one account you have to be very careful when closing or adding to a trade The system will jump to the wrong account and cause you to enter an order in error Unfortunately a substandard system I also have a TD Ameritrade account Much better system     Ongoing Issues

I like the compare feature for watch list Doesnt do level II like the iPhone does I still have to use both iPad and iPhone           Improved

newest update is trash slow transitions within app are lagging sometimes doesnt work the watchlist changes added nothing of value but took away something that was bid ask vol wrong direction etrade and whats up with no l2 for ipad     update is garbage

This is a company that needs to invest more in tech and less on marketing If you are an Apple or even worst MAC user be prepared for disappointment Their software has tons of bugs times out locks up just the type of thing you do not need while trading Awful experience Too many bells and whistles without getting the core correct     Terrible Experience

App can fail to respond at crucial making a trade Delaying up to 30 seconds as it trys to keep up Streaming quotes on ipad retina           Great when it responds

I had to leave the house while holding an in the money option position that was expiring that same day I logged into the mobile app with good reception Every thing was looking good the tickers were showing live updates the markets were closing in 10 minutes and I was in the money When I went to close my position the app slowed and then froze I could not get the app to respond I know that trading is a risk but so is this app     Extra de Mobile App

And I would us the iPhone version on iPad but it shows up in iPhone 44s resolution and really doesnt work This app needs to be pulled and iPad needs to be supported in the iPhone version     Worthless compared to iPhone version

Its a great app very functional however it still has some annoying glitches Ill rate it a four when they add fingerprint login capabilities           It needs finger identification for iPad

Account info cannot be synchronized while scroll bar often quits working because of data is not available You will have a better experience if using PCbased browsers to trade stocks in your etrade accounts     Worst possible stock trade program

Although the app has improved tremendously over the last 3 years it is still missing the basic function of allowing a user to drill down on selected past transactions Also although the app allows the user to filter a selected date range for past transactions the app does not allow the user to scroll and view the filtered data Please fix        More improvement needed in Transactions function

You can access any new articles under any stocks nor can you look at any of the companies income statements balance sheets cash flow charts Cant look at past and future estimated earnings        News Articles

This app used to be great then it updated now every time I open it a new features screen pops up despite me selecting dont show again In addition to this the my device watch list resets so I have to log in or re add the stocks Im watching EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP     Resets every time I open sooooo annoying
