The content is great and has been getting better every year since I started reading it in 1982 I used to have to wait weeks for an issue in the U S and although it was good reading the news aspects were old Then came this digital version releasing issues on the same day in the U S as the UK Incredible My joy was actually printed in the letter column of one of the first issues The quality of the image has improved since I wrote what you see below OMG it crashes twice a month Compared to getting it months later it s no big deal Reopen and it s right where I left off It s sad you don t get the posters and other goodies that are included with the printed magazine although you often get scans of them But remember the price for the download edition is about 1 3 less if you subscribe or even buy in shops months later to the actual magazine The reason it is not five stars is because the quality of the reproduction is readable but not very good Actually sometimes pictures and comics when blown up slightly can become a blur I subscribe to Entertainment Weekly and I can blow it up all I want with the picture remaining crystal clear I will subscribe to this until I die but I will not change my rating to 5 until the app works and appears better No links either like other magazines have Still I love it                     Great and good Joe23232323232323232323

I used to wait more than a month to buy each issue of the magazine at local stores Now the App makes each issue available on same day as UK release And at a much reduced price Buying this App was about the smartest thing I ve ever done as a fan of Doctor Who the best show on television But I can t give the app a full 5 star rating because it does so little with the digital magazine format What we get are straight reproductions of the pages of the print magazine with zoom obviously the most necessary tool and that s perhaps all any Whovian needs And the special issues are amazing in content But I wish the app took fuller advantage of the digital medium                 Especially great for Whovians in the US NewGDfan

I like the digital access to the magazine but the app is hardly intuitive I wish they d take a hint from Comixology making purchases more intuitive and allowing navigation between pages with a tap on one side of the screen instead of a full swipe             Wish magazines were easier to navigate Zyzyx1701D

Bought an issue for the comic on my iPhone but the image resolution they created the issue as is so bad that it s impossible to read it Wish I could get my money back     Resolution so poor it s unreadable Soylent Plaid

Love DWM but this app like all magazine apps for iOS is terrible All I want is to be able to read the cover and table of contents to decide if I want to purchase the magazine Unfortunately you can not scale the view and the text is too small Apple needs to fix this ASAP Forget a new iPad and FIX THIS APP             Great mag terrible app Tmidiman

I bought my iPad so that I could subscribe to DWM It was the only way I could find to subscribe from the United States I ve thoroughly enjoyed the magazine and the app It s made the purchase of my iPad completely worth it                     Great Way to Read this Fun Magazine C1960697

I was really looking forward to getting this app so I could finally have access to DWM as subscribing to a print subscription is way too expensive for me I was VERY disappointed when I downloaded my sample copy and saw that it is not easily readable on the iPhone even though this is supposedly the iPhone iPad edition So I still won t be subscribing Too expensive for a magazine I need to struggle to read When you update to a view that is iPhone compatible I will re consider     Not Readable on iPhone *MacMom*

This review is specifically for the app not the content Fans of DWM will appreciate the content and if you live on the wrong side of the pond a digital sub is a much easier way to get your DWM fix However even if you sub with this app you don t have access to your new magazines Deleting the app reinstalling and restoring purchases does nothing to solve the problem Several other reviewers are also having this problem so it s something that needs to be addressed ASAP     Would be great if the app actually worked pipetpeople

I would have preferred this over hardcopy except for one critical detail you cannot read it offline The purpose of of this was to get in some reading during my commute underground This is why I switched from a Nexus to iPad and I m back to this nonsense Probably the first last issue I buy for now     Is it really yours HolodocDR

Worth it to have digital copy of DWM esp since it s not available on the superior Zinio app If dev would at least update so you can view purchased issues apart from all available issues that would go a long way to improving it Also If last year s Dalek bookazine was made available I m sure I m not the only one who would buy it on sight UPDATE Not only is the Dalek Bookazine available now that was fast and I bought it like I said I would but so is the second volume The Companions The third will probably be available in less than 4 weeks Two needed improvements 1 Sort purchased issues from all available as mentioned above 2 Give a summary description of contents of each issue The cover alone really is not enough to do that One more thing once a filter for purchased issues is added it would also help to sort by different options including most recently read order off purchase and order released             Great magazine Decent app Spuddmonkey

All this app does for me is a pop up that s failed subscription or failed purchase so I don t know what the magazine is about I never get a chance to even see it     Crap King Boss Ruler

I have same issue as other reviewer I m a monthly subscriber but when new issues show up they are for sale now available to me unless I buy Please fix this     Subscriber SpyroDeath

I already have a subscription with DWM I down loaded the app because I thought it would make my subscription more mobile Plus my current issue was sent to the wrong address so I thought maybe I could use the app instead of buying a new copy Instead I m asked to buy of subscribe with no option to access my current account Is there no way to link my subscription to the app         Subscription Link Rclayj

So I ordered and downloaded this app and started a subscription Got my first issue and enjoyed it Went to get the next issue and it tells me the app needs updating but each update try ends in cannot connect to server So I delete and download again Restore my purchase and now the app is up to date but I cannot download any of my mags Very sad Dr Who fan here         Good start But t33ps

Love having this digitally because it s hard to get in the US or expensive or late but there s a problem The comics and small print in pictures like the original script photos in the anniversary issue are unreadable at least on an iPhone The comic has always been a big part of the magazine so this app still needs work I hope improvements can be made maybe a higher scan PDF of the issue is needed             Formatting Norman Ashby

When I saw that Doctor Who magazine was finally available to itunes I jumped for joy Long overdue However after I downloaded my first issue I was disheartened to find it a terrible copy Most of the smaller print and the comics is completely unreadable They need to fix and create clearer text as the comic is half the fun             Needs work Kadiatu

If you live in the United States a new issue can cost about 11 99 or more at a bookstore and it is always a month behind the current issue So glad that they made a app since I love doctor who but don t live in the UK                     Cheaper then print and current Tikal
