How do you have an office document program that does not print directly from the app While this app used to be on the forefront of mobile office software they have been left behind due to lack of innovation Much like RIM aka Blackberry where they used to lead they ignored the competition and have become obsolete The fact that their app is preloaded on millions of devices does not indicate it is the best option There are plenty of other apps out there that are an all in one option for the same price as the premium version and I paid for all the in app purchases too I have been using this app since the Palm OS days and unfortunately it has changed very little I too will join the ranks who search elsewhere for their mobile office suite You should too     Will not print

Bought it because it was free and I thought it would work Turns out it doesnt work unless you upgrade for 699 or 1699 Baffled Dont waste your time     Confused

I purchased this software a couple of years ago and recent upgrades turned it in to a free version with many in app purchases and most of my existing spreadsheets used on my iPad in a couple of cases for a over a year changed to LOCKED due to unsupported functions I will not be looking for alternatives     Total ripoff

Its a four star product for what it does I like the easy and functional pinch zoom for referencing my doc and xls files handy for older eyes now I like that it syncs easily with Dropbox keeping my edits in multiple places I like that it is mostly stable too The only real flaw I can whine about is lack of printing I rely more and more on paper copies of the docs it manages for me The send icon takes me to a screen where I can open in other apps such as Reader or to airdrop but not to email the document or text the document or AirPlay to our networked hp m127 in the office Sure I can open dropbox on one of the macs or pcs open the file and print from there but the power of these idevices is the increasingly common standalone functionality My iPhone or iPad is nearly replacing my laptop computer for a large percentage of my office and business needs That is the evolution of these devices Print output and sharing beyond Airdrop is rather vital and a huge part of the reason this isnt a 5star app I dread looking elsewhere for a solution hope DataViz has something exciting up its sleeve with the next release              Good but could be great

Since I bought this app at 999 some years ago and I use it for loads of docs I havent since been notified of the possibility to do an upgrade Now that I come in looking for some answers I see the paid version is now going for 1699 So I try to comment in there to ask some questions and they tell me that I have to own the thing first So did the price go up 699 and thats all Ill have to pay if I get this newer one Or will I have to pay the whole thing which will bring it to 2599 for me Something is missing from this picture        A question

Had this app for years since my first hand held device in fact Palm Pilot I write very few reviews as most work as advertised Not Documents to Go however Its schizophrenic Works great for a few months do a transfer and half your documents are gone Apparently there is better to be had and Im going to try     Completely unstable

Ive been a Dataviz customer dating all the way back to the PalmPilot This means Ive owned countless iterations of their product When I paid for Docs To Go for the iPhone it was the only option out there to view Word documents Even then it seemed like it was second rate For them to charge an additional fee to email or to use any sort of cloud service with your documents made me feel like it was some sort of difficult task to program Alas I never paid extra for this additional service because I feel like Ive already paid too much for the app That being said three or four years ago this app was a solid three stars But now its 2015 and Microsoft has their own legit office apps for the iPhone And the thing is these Microsoft apps are not only FREE but theyre way better then the premium choices that are in the App Store When you add a better product along with cloud support for One Drive its a nobrainer that you would just use Microsofts real Office products instead of paying a thirdparty dev for a lesser product Thanks Dataviz the past 14 years have been a good run     Goodbye Dataviz Hello Microsoft Office

This app doesnt walk you through how to use it I would have no problem figuring that out on my own if it didnt crash with every button I attempt to click on I can do absolutely nothing with this app What a bummer     Essentially useless

Got this app when I wasnt free and I bought the in app purchase to prime to be able to do power points but now I still cant do power points or redeem the purchase Waste of money     Horrible

On startup it tries to get me to log into Box which I dont even have and then crashes Every time I guess were the beta testers        Broken

I love this app and use it all the time but with the new bigger phones the text screen is shoved over to the left side of the screen while there is a large section of wasted unusable space on the right even when you try to zoom in The cursor does not line up with text lines anymore making editing difficult if not impossible depending on the font size you are working with I used to have it synced to my google drive but now it wants to pay to resync it Fix please        Screen adjustments needed

the app does not Sync with iCloud contacted them but no reply     not syncing

I bought this app even before I had an iPod I was that excited at the thought of genuinely mobile wordprocessing At the time it was the only option for the iPod but theyve done little to improve it since then despite the one major upgrade Opening large files is extremely SLOW Im talking about several minutes using an external keyboard with Bluetooth seems to be a hit and miss affair syncing with the computer is extremely unwieldy This program really needs to be improved in a major way to be genuinely useful        Severely needs reworking

I used to love this app until now It is filled with ads and is free to new users Data Viz what about the older users that paid 8 for it What do we get A free upgrade for the premium version I think so This absolutely not fair for the older users I will most likely be moving over to Polaris now     Not Fair to older users

Used to be one of the best apps but now I cant even edit documents on the iPhone 6 because the cursor is placed outside the words I want to edit Sad to say that Pages is actually easier to work with now than DocsToGo Also your customer service has fallen way behind other app developers     Update Killed the AppPLEASE FIX

I bought this app both versions iphone ipad several years ago Now that theyve made it free theyre showing intrusive ads all over I guess thats one way to make you pay extra again and without warning me itd happen I guess I cant sync it with desktop anymore either though Ive usually done that with filesharing which I havent tested since this update VERY ANNOYING           Paid for app before now its free with Ads what gives

Crashes on iPhone 5S and iPad mini even after a cold reboot     Wont open on iOS 8

This used to be a great application after the last update it is useless and does not sync with my Laptop or any other device Do not buy until they fix this problem otherwise you will have an application only by name which does not work     Disappointing

Has worked well in previous iOS versions but has some bugs in iOS 8 Really needs some development improvement           Needs an update

Ive had Docs to Go for a few years now I paid 10 for it but with the last update I got bumped to the free version All of the sudden with this latest update there are ads that Ive never had before They pop up WHILE EDITING I was at work and typing and all of the sudden an ad with video pops up And I would have to pay an additional 17 to get rid of the ads Not happy about that at all I just downloaded Word and it is so much better for so many reasons This one is getting deleted     Got bumped to free for new update

I have had this product for years I upgraded and paid for the Cloud version last month Today with their latest upgrade my Docs to Go now appears directly on my PC on my iCloud Yay HOWEVER I CANNOT UPLOAD ANY FILES TO MY FOLDER I get error They were so close but just NO Why release when you are not testing first Another BAD flaw is that you cannot use the Tab key when entering data into their spreadsheet You get a message Tabs to supported YET Funny but another NO Sorry but please make improvements        Almost but

1700 Adobe pdf reader Will not sync iCloud Locks average multi tab xls spreadsheets because it cannot translate blank cells where simple data entry is required like name date interest rate etc BASIC info transfers to other tabs This makes it useless for financials IRR NPV DCF Their documentation says these functions are supported but no info on how to resolve issue of locked file Cannot open do not pass go save your     Do not waste your time

I briefly hated this app when synching stopped working Update iOS to 81 and it should work again Both my iPhone and iPad werent connecting after updating to 81 both connect and synchseems it may have been an iOS issue              Synching FIX

Now that theyve fixed the problems with using this app on a 6 Plus its greatthe only app with a desktop sync option It automatically reflows text for easy viewing when you zoom in and it has a scroll bar that allows you to quickly get to the end of the document                 The best ios Office app

This was the first office app I purchased with the original iPad Quickly realized it was average at best It was the first app I deleted and was a complete waste of money Have moved on to superior apps now available     Better apps available

This is a buggy unreliable and outdated app It wont sync reliably and if you are stupid enough to delete and reload either your desktop or iPhone app it clogs up and freezes both of them Useless     Garbage

I have an iPhone iPad and a mac This app refuses to share docs even though they show they are connected and synced None of my desktop files show on the iPhone and to see the files on my iPad i have to open the mac and re sync every time which defeats the purpose of being able to leave the mac at home when we travel When i do sync half the time it tells me the devices are already paired and even though they dont show up Good thing I only spent 699 and not the full monte TOO MANY OTHER WAYS TO DO THIS     go elswhere to share docs

12815 Invaluable application and still a solid 4 stars and Im a tough grader 33014 As for all the criticism I and many others have given DTG I just want to reiterate how incredibly useful and powerful a product it is especially for a handheld device Sure it has its flaws but Ive been managing much of a small business with many personal uses as well for several years and have yet to find another product that even comes close So I hope it keeps improving and people keep purchasing it 21314 Once again I cant believe that a spreadsheet viewed in landscape ends up with maybe onethird of the actual spreadsheet contents visible at a time while other UI elements take up all the other space with no way to collapse or hide those other elements and no fullscreen option other than the setting to open in full screen view mode which just reverts to the normal view mode after entering edit mode Im not sure what the best solution would be but Id start with losing the extra useless margin in the sheet selector and possibly shrink the top bar and tool bar a little And perhaps a way to intuitively hide and show certain UI elements 12614 What Cannot copy a cell or range of cells from one spreadsheet to another Really 10113 Ability to starunstar documents in Recent tab is GONE yet files still seem to retain their previous starred status PLEASE FIX 9713 Open In function has been restored Also it seems odd that the top bar in the app is a bit higher than necessary 9613 A year later and not really much of an upgrade in terms of features but some UI changes that may prove welcome in time At least the app has still been solid for me and Dropbox connection still works fine As for INSERTDELETE spreadsheet rows and columns the functions are still there but just a little hidden you need to tap and hold a row or column selector to access rowcolumn editing options but good luck if you have a short row or narrow column in which case youll probably just end up in rowcolumn resizing mode unless perhaps if you have tiny fingers As for the new sheet selectortabs in the spreadsheet component its really nice to have quick access to worksheets but then the tabs take up so much of minimal screen space including the extra space under the tabs which seems wasted A simple menu option or swipe gesture or both to showhide the sheet selector would probably be a good solution 10512 Another seemingly POINTLESS ANNOYANCE is that the Cloud tab often randomly reverts to the root directory It is also unclear how the app determines which files to sync or how many subdirectory levels to check It certainly doesnt scan and compare them alllikely to increase efficiencybut a file in another directory or subdirectory may have been opened via the very handy Recent tab and then modified but then doesnt sync when selecting the Cloud tab resulting in notinfrequent sync conflicts 62412 Another feature missing that is present in Excel is conditional formatting What a welcomed addition to DTG that would be 3812 Do you know what the best thing about Quickoffice is It generally makes me appreciate this product a lot more Make that 3ANDAHALF stars No Ill even go FOUR For now 5311 Its a little ridiculous that an entire folder subfolders and files cant be synced in a onestep manual process like every other Dropboxconnected app I have The autosync of every folder on access really degrades usability DataViz please see ReaddleDocs and GoodReader for examples of Dropbox integration done right 42711 Dropbox integration works fine for me but the constant refreshing of content is SO annoying and inefficient How about a setting for manualauto refresh 91510 Also the changes to the spreadsheet formula bar a few updates ago are somewhat detrimental to usability 1 There is no longer an X in the text box to clear the contents in one step which was very handy 2 The automatic expansion of the text box to multiline is annoying and would be better if it expanded only when needed contentdependent 3 The expanded text box in landscape makes it impossible to access other cells or navigate the sheet as was possible before Still no ability to create spreadsheet CELL BORDERS Maybe if I asked nicely Who knows              Getting there Eventually

Now that Microsoft has beefed up their iOS apps this one has been deleted from my devices Not that I was using it over the last year or two kept around for just in case scenarios Several years ago bought the at the time Premium Pack equivalent Next release they dropped everything in that for current pricing scheme so had to rebuy cloud access That got me ticked off Spreadsheets my main focus didnt support cross sheet referencing lots of formula support was missing all of which the free Numbers did much better Only supported the weakoldimpotent encryption But now that I get an almost 100 compatible Office for my simple needs away from the desktop for free with Dropbox support DtG is no longer on my devices Pity Ive been using this since my Palm Pilot days Palm V on     Buh Bye
