The new version of the Divine Office App is terrific It is easy to use comprehensive and a wonderful aid to prayer I use it in the morning at home and also when I am driving It helps me to pray without ceasing A very good investment                 Terrific App

This is the app I use the most I enjoy the singing                 Divine Office

This version takes forever to load and when I try to play the night prayer it usually sends me to the text I didnt want or need all the bells and whistles in this version I just want the audio to play        I Miss The Previous Version

This app is beautiful well developed and with a great selection of hymns It helps me pray everywhere and at my own pace The only thing I dont like is the team singing the Psalms or the Our Father specially on Sundays and feast days Honestly please DO NOT SING Those convoluted harmonies with people singing so so are very distracting When the team sticks just to reading it is a perfect app nonintrusive and conducting to a prayerful atmosphere As soon as they start to sing I immediately stop the audio and continue on my own Still it is a great tool to help anyone pray              Beautiful app well developed but

I resisted upgrading for a long time but now am delighted I finally did Love how you can easily set it to autodownload SELECT HOURS only and that it then happens via wifi in the background Soooo much easier for me as I live in a rural area Also the side menu design is helpful and intuitive And when my prayer is interrupted by a doorbell or landline call the pause button works from the lock screen Yayy Thanks SurgeWorks                 LOVE the improvements on upgrade

I downloaded this when I was unemployed and frustrated almost three years and it really helped change my outlook Now that I am employed it gives me a great start respite and close to my day I especially love the hymns included with the prayers as I am a cantor in my parish and find myself singing along with them                 Wonderful app

This App is great It helps me direct my prayers in a manner that is pleasing to God I love the audio capability I feel like I am not alone in my prayers It also guides me what to pray at any time of the day and each day is different I never feel bored or repetitive in my prayers                 Love the App

This is an excellent app and I highly recommend it It allows you to easily carry the Liturgy of the Hours with you wherever you go Thank you for adding the scrolling feature and different fontviewing options The feature that I really like the most is being able to highlight the words to get a definition or to copy Moving the 1X button is perfect because now I wont rewind 30 seconds accidentally This is an excellent update well done                 Love the update

Great app overall It is such a blessing to have the wonderful audio options on the prayers and some great music selections too Its like a good icon a doorway into heaven and transcendent grace It has a number of improvements in this 2nd edition 20 version speed options the pause on the lock screen now works optional font sizes others A drawback is that sometimes they get the wrong readings and prayers for that day usually in the second half if the hour before the hour prayed Also I like just the first psalm sung on Sundays and feasts instead of all of them Would be nice if on audio version on feast days they would offer a sung and a recited version option Recently saw the movie War Room and it is a great reminder on the importance power of meaningful heartfelt daily prayer Prayer is our greatest power Thank you for reminding us of this and facilitating it so well Divine Office God bless you all and keep up the good work for the Kingdom of God Let us always seek the Lords Kingdom first              Divine Office App Review

As a frazzled mom of a toddler it can be difficult to remember to even send up a quick thank you up to heaven let alone lug around a volume of the hard copy breviary translation With that in mind I really appreciate this app I pop on the audio version when Im running errands and read the text when I have a few spare moments Does looking at my phone have the same weight and feel of kneeling in a chapel No but it sure makes it easier to remember that even stolen moments with God count                 Easy to use

Exactly what I had hoped for plus audio reminders of prayer times Now I am able to participate in the full Liturgy of the Hours even though I cannot stop all activity The only suggestion I would consider a massive improvement would be to update the hymns to more modern selections with the same themes                 Just what I needed

I love so much about this App I have the 4 volumes of the Liturgy of the Hours but this is so handyI thought I would use the audio more than I do I love the beauty of the silence I always want to see how many are in prayer using the app The spinning globe with the lights is fascinating I highly recommend this for everyone                 Absolutely Wonderful

I find it a great help for praying the Divine Office What I find frustrating was the Solemnity of the Ascension which in most ecclesiastical provinces in the USA transferred it to the following Sunday If I wanted to pray the office in accord with the province I am in I could not use the app              I like it in most aspects

This app helps me to pray the psalms In addition to the ongoing features updates that I appreciate are 1 Extended calendar I can download more days for times when I will be away from internet 2 Speed control I can speed up the recording slightly when I am tight on time 3 Reminders Thank you for this updated app it does not disappoint 4 Hymns are beautifully chosen and sung I frequently add to my Amazon player Please dont ever go hokey on us                 Pray Always

I am new to praying the Divine Office but have found this just an awesome tool for making it easy and much cheaper than the four volume book set I love the audio function as well The only area I have noticed for improvement which may be a result of my DSL internet connection and not a problem for those with high speed internet is that it can take a little bit to load the prayers and if I close the app or my iPad goes to sleep it has to reload again but that is a pretty minor inconvenience compared to the benefits                 Great app really enjoy it

Using this app is so much easier than using the prayer book With the audio I can use the app while driving or walking I may have to get my elderly father an iPad just for this app because he struggles with all the jumping around you have to do with the prayer book Who knew Apple would be utilized to build up the Kingdom                 User friendly
