Its true syncing devices did cause me to lose my library Disney Guest Services and iTunes Customer Service helped me get a recredit of my 17 lost books Great service from both companies to resolve my problem I believe the cause of my library loss was because the books were bought prior to iOS 8 update on my devices After repurchasing the digital books after iOS8 the entire library syncs across 3 devices properly through iCloud The app could use a few improvements such as either disabling the delete function from within my childs library so she doesnt accidentally delete a book The trash can on the iPad Mini is over book selections which she touches often Not sure if I will be able to redownload book if deleted On the iPhone 6 trash can is not touching any books I believe the developer should have a delete disabled option in parent settings to prevent young children from deleting books accidentally Overall the app is wonderful and the books will entertain young children My 3 yr old loves these books              Update Loss Library

Getting load errors and failed loads on my iPad 4 with retina display Since last iOS upgrade Update I uninstalled it and reinstalled and now it works fine Our Grandkids love this app Only beef I have now is they have raised the prices on the credits too high trying to get rich off kids           Need help not compatible wit newest iOS V81

This app has a lot of problems syncing It ends up being a complete waste of money We tried to move purchases from an old device to a new device and since the old device wont update to a current version of the IOS it wont work Disney has really let us down     Wont Sync

Some of the books force close the app after reading the first page And you only get 3 free books which of course my daughter doesnt like any of them           Force close

I bought credits and never received them There doesnt seem to be a way to repair or bring back purchases How do I get my credits I have the receipt for them     Credits

I hope the developer plans on issues credits with the next release I no longer have access to any of my purchased stories My daughter was so upset ACTION REQUIRED     Also lost books

I had to buy the books and my daughter was bored out of her head because of this game     NOT A GOOD GAME

I got this app for my niece we love it Or should I say loved it It does get quite expensive to purchase more books but Im okay with that because we get so much use out of it But the last couple months the app has been having issues Every single character picture just says Load Error so you cant see anything You can see the books purchased in her bookshelf clearly but not the character icons above If that issue was taken care of Id rate it higher           Having Issues

Theres not much I can say that hasnt already been mentioned in other reviews A server error is apparently responsible for the books I purchased disappearing from my device At least thats the only line I get from their technical support So much for Disney magic unless they meant magically disappearing     STAY AWAY

I bought my son a new iPad and loaded this app but it will not restore purchases no matter how many methods tried I also noticed that his old iPad updated this app and lost its books and credit I no longer have the original downloaded version on my iPad which I made the purchase from I feel swindled for money and sad my son has to go through this I found my receipt but I am not sure if itll help     Lost books and credits

Purchased this app for my daughters and it works great with the first 3 books that came free After purchasing 40 in credits for the App I let my girls pick 2 books each None of them worked As soon as they begin to load the App closes So over and over and over again we tried to read The books and none ever opened i tried restarting app and my iPad resyncing and redownloading from the cloud didnt help either Theres no help in the Help section of the app or on the developers site for this problem I feel like Ive completely wasted my money and more than that my girls are really disappointed     Total App collapse

This app let me spend money buying coins but it wont let me purchase books with the coins purchased It is worthless I want it fixed or my money back     Error The certificate for this server is invalid

Disney Storytime App is inefficient in which it works As other reviews state HAVE ICLOUD ON BEFORE PURCHASE I purchased the 5 story coin The stories I purchased were not syncing with my other device for my other child when I turned on iCloud for syncing my stories ERASED I am working with Disney currently to get my refund or new coin PURCHASE BOOKS THROUGH DISNEY STORY CENTRAL INSTEAD It uses an online interface where you log into your Disney Account online and you can then use books that way I have not used disney central much yet so READ reviews however the fact that you log into an account and purchase books vs purchasing books through an app in my view is better Sincerely Disgruntled Disney Purchaser        DISNEY SHOULD REMOVE THIS APP

My two year old spends more time accidentally tapping the books she doesnt own and getting a popup saying she needs to buy the book There should be some way to lock the app to where it only shows the books she owns     Difficult for small children

At first the app was nice and I purchased most of the books available as my daughter loves Disney and all there books But soon it started to freeze and stopped loading some books So I deleted the app and redownloaded it again only to find all the books I purchased were now gone plus my remaining credits Unless they restore my purchases or have them install a button to restore purchases I wouldnt waste your time or money        Dont waste your money

Bought credits costing 20 and the credits never showed up in my account Contacted customer support and all they said is that they know the app doesnt work and to just wait No timeline no refund no nothing Waste of time money do not purchase     Does not work

It has been over 14 months since this app was last updated I dont know if it is a dead app or not now That being said I have used it for 2 years and have accumulated quite a library I like the stories for the kids I also like the choice to have the computer read me to read or my recorded voice to read We purchased the Phillips Hue Storylight which works well My 5 year doesnt find the light very interesting anymore but the 2 year loves it I maintain this app and all of its content exclusively on a 2nd generation iPad 64gb kid only now and expect to lose all of my content when that bites the dust I too had syncing problems With about 3 weeks of back and forth between tech support and myself my purchases were restored Sync with extreme caution           Recommended with reservations

this app now just crashes before it did the character profile images where not displaying correctly with just Load error     crash

After updating iOS I lost all of my books and 26 credits if I remember correctly I can understand the occasional snafu but there should be a link to restore purchases that will reconcile with the accounts records I am waiting for a response from customer service After that I will update my review accordingly     Lost all books and credits after iOS update

I bought 5 credits upon downloading the app and it took over a week A glitch I was promised by the Disney service team and if I had complaints I was told to take it up with iTunes Now I try to sync my books across devices and I lose the books There are better options out there until Disney gets their act together Furthermore I couldnt sync across family devices eg my wifes and my own even though we have family sharing I think this is due to how Disney saves books in the cloud drive but nonetheless it seems like a critical missed feature     Save your money until syncing works

We are not happy that this app is still not working correctly We have spent a lot of money purchasing ALL the books and have some unused credits This has been a problem for two months lots of people have complained on the reviews It is time for Disney to fix this problem     Not happy

There are so terribly many bugs in this program that you shouldnt buy it My grand daughter and grandson love it but most of the time it doesnt work With the Disney brand behind it you would think they would make sure it was up to snuff        WHEN it works its good

When I upgraded my phone all the books I had just disappeared I contacted Disney and they said they reloaded my credits so I can repurchase the books but the credits never showed I emailed them a second at third time and they verified the credits were there but no credits in my app Never got the books back not worth the time     Lost money books dissappear

For an app to offer so many in app purchases and no way to restore them is unconscionable Even after many complaints the app still has no restore purchases option Horrible app and a waste of money which is quite unfortunate because my kid loves it I would recommend everyone stay away from this app until it has a restore purchase option     Cant restore purchases

Today I went to target gtm I met Anna I got a bag and it had a code in it I downlodid the app I try and try to find the place to tipe it in     Disney story book is lame

I have been using this app for over a year now with no problems but after the last update I lost The ability to read all purchased books and the ability to see the character avatars after reading the other reviews Im scared to delete the app and redownload it because I do not want to lose my purchased books forever at the moment I can see the books that I purchased but they will not load the app is pretty much useless at the moment until another update is released to fix these bugs and get your act together Disney     Lost all purchased books

Like other reviewers I quickly noticed this is a poorly designed app I bought every book for my daughter on my iPad and not a single one shows up on my iPhone Shoddy work at best Ive had similar problems with Disneys movies anywhere app so I shouldnt be surprised I guess        Bad design

It was awesome at first Now its horrid Missing icons for pictures and impossible to figure what you own and dont own Not sure who came up with the design ideas for this app A big disappointment     Horrible

Its a great app keeps my daughter entertained UNTIL shes read the four books we have in less than 10 minutes Theyre cute stories and she loves books But 4 for two credits which only gets you two books Its not that great If youre ok with only a couple of selections without spending lots of money then by all means go ahead But if youre looking for something to keep your little one entertained for a whole without spending lots then go elsewhere           Not worth it

The books are beautiful and just right for engaging with your children and introducing them to the great storytelling that Disney does so well timeandtime again                 I LOVE THIS APP
