It just works really slow and I feel like its not 100 accurate all the time but none the less its a pretty good app and useful           Its a little clunky

I had heard about this program from a trainer while in training The most difficult part about the program is presetting the list of available satellites to the ones you only wish to see In lehmans terms its a very user friendly interface for a newby or seasoned installer Ive had the program lock up twice in four months of using which makes it extremely reliable considering how much I use it I can count on one hand the times Ive had to use my inclinometer along with this program Customers LOVE feeling like theyre a part of the installation process as well Buy ItRecommend ItEnjoy It                 Much Easier Than An Inclinometer

It works very well but they need to add the feature so you can take a picture of what your looking at thru the phone so if necessary you can show the customer the LOS problem              It works great

the programas are not necessary for reliable satellite it not work and not precicion the programs referente utility and not profecional app only used entertainment and game use        it not working sat 615 and other sat

When we take our RV to various campgrounds we take one of our satellite receivers and a portable satellite dish with us This app is a must for us especially when there a lot of trees around With this app we can tell exactly where the satellite is This app is awesome                 Fantastic app

This app is a great concept that doesnt deliver Dont be dazzled by the appearance that its working because accuracy is pathetic With 13yrs in satellite industry I can assure you this is a substandard tool Stick with the industry standard sight tool tandem compassinclinometer Its worth it if you care about the quality of your work Only buy this if you have 20 to spend on a novelty toy And yes I have thoroughly calibrated and tested before reviewing it is consistently inaccurate yes it comes close sometimes but you cheat your customers by gambling with this producttoy     Dont Waste Your Money SERIOUSLY

I am extremely unhappy to pay kind of money and there is no satellite listed for my Directv Slimeline3S Its listed on the website but not in this app even after running the update     Unusable wasted my money

Set up my Dish HD in a tree shrouded site on the OR coast Three satellites between three trees I probably wouldnt have even tried without this app A must for RVers                 Killer App

I balked at the idea of paying 20 bucks for this app at first Recently my mother moved to a very rural area She ordered a 200 channel package from a sat tv company Installer comes out slaps up the dish and she can only get 6 channelsand marginally at best he tells her to be glad for that it was the only spot for signal I went over with this app and lo and behold I found THREE spots to get both satellites she needed I moved the dish and reset the elevation according to the app and I got over three times the signal he got and she now gets all her channels clearly all the time Thanks for this app it worked just as it says and it really is cool to see where those satellites are in the sky Its worth the money thats for sure                 Worth Every Penny

This program is a godsend for satellite installers and retailers This program does what no 500 satellite meter can do just by aiming your iPhone to the sky you could instantly find out where the satellite arc is and also tell if the customer has a good line of site to the satellite If your a satellite installer this might just be the best you have ever spent Trust me when I say this will make your job easier                 Amazing Program

Gee lets see here I have been an installer for over 6 years Recently my inclometer broke I had a choice pay another 150 bucks for a new one or pay 20 bucks for this app Ill never buy another inclometer again In fact I have three other techs that are buying this app also and getting rid of there old inclometers Thanks guys This is the best app ever                 Just buy it already

I had a little trouble just trying to figure out how it works or whether I was holding the iPhone correctly but I stumbled through it and I moved the satellite to the correct spot and I was able to get a signal I was unable to get a signal from my previous spot The satellite never appeared on the line so not sure exactly how it is supposed to work but the application did help me find a spot where I was able to get a signal           It Works

Do not download for those with iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 because it does not support all satellites this app charged me almost 22 its a shame the creators of this app should do an update because it is now overpriced crap     Buuu

This app gives you the ability to see satellites hanging in the sky Doing a site survey consists of nothing more than meandering around looking at the iPhone screen until no trees or buildings are in the way of the satellite Problem locations that may have cost you an hour or more of time or simply proved impractical can be resolved in a couple of minutes If youre an installer which I have been you are not only going to breeze through site surveys you are going to pick up plus business because you wont turn down installations that are too close to call If youre in broadcasting which I have also been youre going to be up on the satellite faster sometimes a whole bunch faster You know what that can be worth This app is a nobrainer Get it Note for older iPhone users For full the full Augmentedreality experience you need an iPhone 3G S The app will work with older iPhones without a compass but you will have to set the compass direction manually Thats OK Get the app show it to your boss and explain how much money this things going to makesave then go get your new 3G S with his or her blessing Note for 3G S users If the compass in the app appears to freeze up as mine did thats because you were playing with the Horizontal Reference Mode as I had been and left it in other than the Internal Compass position If you are in the Camera AR view touch Done then go into Horizontal Reference Mode and fix it Note for reviewsceptics My reviews tend to be pretty balanced In fact I wasnt particularly thrilled with the precursor to this app and wasnt afraid to say so This app is great and thats why Im raving about it Update Helpful hints 1 Wear a billed cap like a baseball cap when searching for a site during the heat of the day Not only are the satellites to the south so is the sun Yes I know your mom told you not to look directly into the sun but she never had to find satellite 110 through a hole in the trees 2 How to take a picture of your site survey including the satellites in the picture Press the power button on top of the phone and the home button toward the bottom front of the phone at the same time Yes its inconvenient particularly since the power button is just above the camera lens but Apple has yet to give developers a way to capture augmentedreality screens any other way Blame Apple not the developers                 Perfect tool for the professional

This app is a must have for satellite installers that have the iPhone 3gs Has saved myself lots of time in those siyuations where line of site os questionable And for those that have to justify canceled jobs to management it is a time and money saver for yourself and your company as a whole The days of setting up a temporary mount to determine LOS are over for me I still use my inclinometer for thosr days when it is raining outside                 A must have

Its not perfect but then what is Not suunto inclinometer either This will suffice to determine Los as it is supposed to be 10 degrees anyway Lol It is wonderful tool to show my argumentive customer when they dont have a Los As they cant read an inclinometer anyway This saves time arguing with the customer as they can see for themselves Excellent app Keep the suunto too Worth every penny                 Nice

Warning for the iPhone 3GS on 313 the update renders the application useless it just goes back to the main screen Tried update and uninstall then reinstall niether one would work I had to pull my backup copy of 20 out and reinstall it to get the app working again     Update 211 Breaks it

This app does show where the sattelites are but without the compass of the 3gs it is not as helpful as it could be As I said for 3GS only        Only for 3gs

Nice for figuring out LOS for pretty much any satellite but fails to take advantage of the larger screen size of the newer iDevices An update for this app is needed           Not ready for iPhone 55C5S
