Good work except for inability to choke open HiHats with closed Authentic drum programming tough without this feature Scores will soar when this feature is included in an update           No choke on HiHats

This is a drum app to get creative with Each step of each drum hit or sample can be different from level to pan to type of effect and so on Think about all the possible combinations Ive tried many others but I prefer Diode Its fun to use and I come up with new and different things easily Its not perfect and it may not be the drum app for some but the dev is super accessible check out the AudioBus forum and you can always get a direct response to a feature request or bug fix Its worth 5 stars just for that                 Quirky in the best possible way

Having played with this for many hours it is disappointing you cant export a clean loop This program puts a tale at the end of whatever beats you export as a song Meaning there will always be an extra step in a DAW or some other audio editing program required to create a basic loop If I have a 16 beat pattern I like it should really provide a way to export it a clean immediate plug and play loop Even read the manual this cant do it So I am taking away a star This is a drum machine app many users want export loops Thanks for fixing the io7 app This is a terrific app Hope you eventually add more drum kits though there is plenty to work with now              Great app butcant export clean loops

Good app great features but feels limited due to only having 16 steps per pattern I like at least 32 steps           Good app but only 16 steps

Playing in song mode all buttons including stop inactive No save option Closed and reopened and even after reboot song still playing when app opens           Works but crashes

I like that I can load samples with ease because the included ones sound 20 years dated I hate the sequencer its just boring Only one measure with 16 beats Unable to make 2 bar pattern No velocity Everything is at full volume Limited MIDI options Has potential but it needs to be so much more        Ok not great

You should have a drum box that sounds great has real depth and is ultra smart Not to mention great kits Not to mention waybeyondthecallofduty support                 You deserve a break

Diode is the new champ for programmable drum makers It can basically do anything and sync with everything It can program very easy or very complex both sound great This developer is the most user friendly and responsive Ive seen this year look at all the updates in a short time Great stuff                 A ButtKicking Drum App

When I check the app store I am always looking for new drum machine apps Unfortunately they are infrequent and what is released almost always lack any remotely innovative or interesting aspects Not the case with this one it is already in my top three The ability to control effects hit by hit is probably the most overdue feature that I had not realized I wanted and now would not be without I am impressed with the quality and selection of effects as well as the ease and speed with which each and every hit can be manipulated Excellent work and extra thanks to the developers for the speedy fix The majority of the musicians I work with are still on iOS 7 and the few have updated still seem to be dealing with compatibility issues particularly when it comes to IAA or Audiobus Those of us who continue to prefer an older OS will certainly maintain an equally passionate loyalty to such accommodating and conscientious developers This really is the best iOS drum machine to come along in a long long while and anyone into making beats will be blown away by the results                 Easily one of the best and most versatile drum machines on iOS

The user interface is excellent What really sets Diode apart is the ability to add different FX for every beat It also has a advanced mixer with each sound on a separate channel The update added the ability to draw curves with your finger to modulate the effects just like a DAW                 My Favorite Drum App

The app developer is actively working on a resolution of the iOS 7 issue and has acquired iOS hardware running iOS 7 as the issue didnt arise in the computer simulations I place the blame squarely with Apple who doesnt allow the installation of an older iOS on devices which makes it more difficult for developers to trouble shoot problems The app and new features are working great on iOS 83 for me                 Active Developer

This may be the newest drum app on the block but its already received 2 feature upgrades and a great baseline feature set Sounds are great has the ability to apply FX per hit per instrument and a great MIDI clock Developer is super responsive and an active member of the iPad music community which earns extra bonus points Love the app                 Great new drum app great developer

This is such an excellent app and the new updates are just fantastic There are a few other apps that let you sample in your own sounds but this one is so intuitive and that it lets you set start and end markers for the sound is fantastic Then add that onto the excellent list of drum samples and in 5 minutes you can unleash whatever creativity you have even if like me you arent a drummer This app is a must have for any guitar player A bonus is that it pairs seamlessly with audiobus and Loopy                 Excellent app supportive developer

If even I can get funky with this thing it must be good Easy to use out of the gate but surprisingly deep Cool new features in the recent update too                 Fun sounds good too

I love this thing Its beautifully designed Everything is in the right place It has just a slew of features and sound kits an interface as well thought out as any Ive seen And tech service Astonishingly responsive and expert There was a glitch that caused a firstmeasure with swing to start late They jumped on that and bingo its fixed I cant recommend this app highly enough From the standpoint of a guy who once spent 999 on an eMu Drumulator that didnt have a hundredth of these features its darn near miraculous On a very short wish list the ability to start a song in song mode from any desired location rather than always going back to the top But other than that holy cannoli man If you need to program drums on iOS this would be a bargain at a much higher price point Do not hesitate                 Almost a perfect app

This app is super fun So many cool features and the layout is extremely well thought out Been using for almost a week now and its performed super stable on my iPad Air 2 Bottom line if you do drum programming on your iPad you need to check this app out NOTE TO THE DEVELOPERS Please in a future update include a volume control for the metronome checked the manual but found no option to do so Its so loud that it obscures a lot of the kick and snare hits when its on                 Sweet

This drum machine is such an amazing drum machine app It is super easy to use and what is the best part The awesome Developer that stands behind it Always listening to user requests and ideas Great support Im not a drummer but this machine lets me make some beats that are great to play along with and record Has all the bells and whistles but yet like I said so intuitive to use and understand Great buy at this amazing price Go get it and start making some cool drum tracks                 Amazing Loaded with feautes yet so intuitive to use

Seriously this app is like an iOS drum machine in permanent BOSS MODE So great Sure there are things Id like to see added or refined and happily the devs have been all over updates                 Boss Mode

I have a lot of them and this is instantly one of my favorites Crazy rich with featuresincluding the ability to assign FX to individual notes Check the description carefully and youll see how much you get for a couple of dollars Ive been playing with it for a couple of hours and Ive experienced zero glitches If youre an experienced drum machine app aficionado you most likely wont have to consult the Help doc at all If youre new to drum apps its so easy to learn                 A great drum machine app

only had this immense app for a few days but the editing possibilities and ability to apply effects per beat seems rather advanced Something I have not seen any comments on is the ability in the advanced FX mode to create envelope shapes ADSR of FX waves if this is even what it can be called Incredible amount of drum sets included and to be honest I am still in exploration mode but I am indeed enjoying it Seems to be well thought out though Price seems reasonable at least during the sale              Still Exploring
