Great way to keep up on all my favorite teams and my Alma Mater Michigan State The Dallas and Jacksonville papers print very little news about MSU so I love the Free Press Love the Free Press
No obvious date on the edition Poorly designed navigation What happened to the Free Press eedition that I receive on my smart phone The Freep can do better than this
Im another former Michigander that loves to keep up with home news provided by both the Free Press and the news However I much preferred the old format I still enjoy you though Love my Free Press
The new and improved version is not improved Multiple crashes and the inability to filter the sports news to what I want to read about Bring back old version
Retired military living in Arizona I enjoy staying in the loop on all things mitten cannot complain so far I am sure locals are more critical of the app It is tabletfriendly preferred to full website unless on laptop which took some getting used to For the grumblers its just a move towards tablets and away from the web style of the soon to be past Displaced Michigander
Im old fashioned I LIKE reading a newspaper I LIKE paging thru the sections from page 1A to the end I may have to switch to another newspaper Bring back the old app

I want to thank you for making the improvements I sat down today at work and found a traditional newspaper someone left behind I really enjoyed one of the stories I saw so I decided to check to see if the app was updated to accommodate Siri reading the paper to me as I follow along on the screen and was pleased to find that it did Thank you for fixing that As a person with dyslexia this platform works great for me in many ways The iPad in my opinion is the greatest invention of our time particularly for someone like myself Thanks again Siri reading
The layout for the Freep app is very appealing and everything is easy to find Not cluttered at all Easy Layout
If you like spelling and grammar mistakes then this is the app for you Very elementary
OK I admit it I am a news junky and this app is one of the first I go to each morning I read it every day

If the Freep ever hopes to erect a paywall for this app they better quit punishing readers by making us scan the article dates to find todays stories Subscribers read the paper every day so they only want to see todays paper How hard can it be to add a filter switch to the settings Im willing to see blank pages on the days that there arent any stories in that section Stories listed in the margins arent dated so one would have to try to memorize each days headlines in order to spot a new story I just skip them all Better but

The app and the new on line edition are boring with the same offerings running for daysweeks on end Remove the redundant blurbs the multiple advice columns and those more than 3 days old and there would be nothing much left Youve got blurbs on here that date back to the beginning of November for Christs sake Your original online presence was outstanding Very disappointing and pathetic CJCarter Disappointing
The mobile app for The Detroit Free Press FREEP works real well This newspaper covers everything related to Detroit and a majority of Michigan and does it well The app covers just about everything that the newspaper covers I like it FREEP Works well

I HATE the new format I LOVED the old one I was still reading a paper What the were you thinking I didnt mind not receiving home delivery In fact even on days the paper is in my driveway I still read online Not anymore Please go backward It would be a forward step in reality to admit the Love ap was superior New free press format
