As someone else noted the subscriber issue can be solved by deleting the app and reinstalling              BK

Besides the random crashes which admittedly seem to have gotten a little less frequent lately theres an ad posted all throughout the appamong article headlines and within article textthat makes my iPhone automatically dial an 800 number without any warning if my finger goes anywhere near the ad even scrolling through I dont know what the ad is for It doesnt say but its now caused my phone to begin to initiate a phone call three times now and Ive had it I wont use this app again until such ads are gone     Infuriating

It freezes to where I have to close it Very unhappy May force me to finally cancel the Denver Post     Doesnt Work

If you havent updated dont This app is very glitchy bombards you with ads and now they charge a subscription fee If you want news there are plenty of free options with apps that work better The Denver Compost has been in steady decline since the Rocky Mtn News went under Dont expect this dinosaur to last more than a year or two     Not worth subscription cost for adfilled glitch ap

Stories dont load the app is extremely slow Frequent crashes There arent many worse apps out there     The ads are the only thing that work

Not only is it filled with annoying ads it forces users to pay for a subscription after you read a certain number of articles What is more annoying is that it does this by just popping up an archaic ugly Webview with no explanation     Awful

I just tried to read a few articles in the Energy Mining section and none of them would even load The only thing that loads are the adds The user interface on the main page is completely horrible and the text font size for headlines is incredibly small Whichever company designed this along with the project manager at the Denver Post who signed off on it should be fired Looks like I will just read The Onion instead 05     App is useless complete rubbish

Good news is the app does not crash as much as he used to But it is still only worthy of one star as the content does not update For example front page may have an article on the Rockies game night before but when you go to the Rockies section or the sports section the content is 3 days old and wont refresh And the Hobby Lobby ads are annoying     Pretty pathetic

Basic ads are no problem companies want to make money to provide content cheap Video ads that last longer than 5 secs are annoying especially when youre reading in a silent area and are expected to respect other people by not having crass and obnoxious music start blaring from your phone or tablet Ive has to restart the app on multiple occasions because the content fails to load and currently that is not proving to be enough If there was an update it did not work I actually have a subscription to the Post but since their paper version is nearly as bad as their website I may start going elsewhere for reliable information that does not repeat stories in every section and has a working website Recently a request for a Press password began appearing Since I have a home delivery subscription this is supposed to be circumvented with the payment password That hasnt worked in more than a month Attempting a forgot password results in an error message Best idea DP should dump the app server and find a reliable one     Worked fine somewhat

I downloaded this and figured Id give it a chance Wowevery 20 seconds a popup ad would launch and blot out the entire screen Sad to see Denvers newspaper has only this to offer Deleted App after 5 minutes     Worthless full of nonstop popup ads

They stopped adding video commercials that started without warning at random taps of an article which is great but now every few days I have to reinstall because tapping an article now automatically opens up a log in screen Does anybody test this app before release        Frustrating

This latest version refuses to update the news whenever logging in Right now Its going on 4 days now without updating Nothing I do helps I even trashed it Rebooted the iPhone 6 Installed it again Still doesnt update        Terrible Doesnt update

Used to be my go to source for local news Now you have to have a subscription thats 11 per month No way Ill watch the news on tv at night instead     Used to be free

Not sure what happened This is my local paper and has been free Now every article I tap to read goes to a login screen for subscription Dont know if broken or just no longer available without print subscription Sent email to support No reply     Tapping to read article requires subscription login

Terrible app Cannot access the articles without paying App crashes all the time Ads everywhere including in the middle of articles Touch feature is too sensitive and you lose whatever you were reading if you touch the screen Although the way these halfhearted faaaaaar left wing pieces of journalism are written perhaps its not a bad thing     More bugs than a bait shop

Now all of a sudden you must purchase their press to read anything in their app Isnt that the point of having ads in the app Wont be using this anymore     Cant read anything without paying

Seriously this is the worst app Ive ever used It constantly crashes doesnt update and youre bombarded with ads that probably contribute to the crashing problem Do yourself a favor and use the mobile website     Worst app ever

The articles load slowly far slower than other news apps When your article does finally load the formatting quite often is off for screen size but you cant zoom out to adjustyou have to swipe back and forth to read the article On top of this there are poorly placed ads that cover the article All in all this thing would rock in 2005 but in 2015 its embarrassing that this is the mobile representation of our citys newspaper     Lag central

It continues to amaze me that the folks responsible for selecting the stories to be pushed to the mobile site think that anything related to sports takes precedence over real news like the death and devastation in Nepal or the Supreme Courts decision in gay marriage Its no wonder that I never read your paper or use your app     Really

Updated 7215 continues to go downhill with each update I cant say anything nice so Im just going to delete it Too bad because I loved this news app a couple of years ago Updated 102714 Hoping beyond hope for improvement Tap on the articles after a somewhat better load time and nothing Ads still way to big You cannot scroll past them as they take up the whole screen You cannot touch the ad a continue to scroll You have to go back and get what amounts to a running start Still bad no real speed improvements and the ads are way to big to scroll through 10314 Appreciate the attempt and updates but still slow Maybe its time to dump this app and go back to the old one Or scrap this one altogether and get a new company to write it for you 82014 Seems like many bogus 5 star reviews Or the reviewers never actually launch this slow app 72114 updated Previous app is still far better support to 6 Its still too slow to launch Pictures are too big Ads still too Im guessing the launch is still so slow because of the photos This is a newspaper Less photos please Bring back faster loading text Previous update While the most recent update helped It still a down grade from the previous app Way to Slow to load Horrible ad placement you cannot scroll over the top of the ad if you are scrolling and end up with the ad taking up most of the screen You are stuck Better off using the web over this app     Keeps getting worse

Was having same problems as everyone else I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it It is working faster and better then ever When it asks you for subscriber information just X out of it              Much berth after uninstalling

You cant read the articles You have to sign into a Press account in order to read any content I dont know if this is a bug but either way I will be deleting this app     Terrible

Ridiculously bad Incoherent inaccessible and the incessant flashing ads They can run a crawl feed but cant update Opinion and Letters until the next day You should be embarrassed     Stone Age

I just replaced my iPhone 5 with an iPhone 6 and now the app doesnt work at all I deleted it and tried to reload no luck at all App is completely worthless Please fix so I can redownload on my phone I love the Denver post but hate hate hate the app     Horrible

I would read a few articles every other day or so and then I was blocked because I didnt have a subscription They had pop up ads and I figured that was the compromise to not paying I deleted the app from all my devices Ill get myRocky Mountain news elsewhere from here on out Its such a bummer for me cause I enjoyed it     I used to use it

Used to use this daily for staying up to date in news now a subscription is required Guess Ill be going to 9news for all my news now Why would I pay for a subscription when the app is filled with pop up ads and never really up to date news     Subscription required

This app is terrible and gets worse with every upgrade Its so packed full of ads that in an attempt to load them it freezes or just crashes The worst part is after a limited of free reads you are actually paying for this crap With all of the other sources to get news this may be the end of the Post Good riddance     Garbage

The app is essentially broken Crashes frequently and unpredictably Layout is clunky and storieswhen they loadare slow to appear after selection Most important as others have mentioned some articles wont load at all but are now replaced with a signin screen Delete to fix     Seek Denver news elsewhere

When it works its great More often than not however clicking on a article brings up a login for PressID and then the app crashes Deleting and then reinstalling seems to fix the problem but it is far easier to ignore the Post and switch to the 9News app when this happens Two plus years now youd think theyd have fixed the glitch     Forces entry of PressID

I just deleted the app Please bring back Rocky Mountain News Maybe a little competition will create a better business model Note to Post if lots of annoying oversized adds doesnt generate enough revenue how is irritating readers and chasing away that revenue going to help Not smart     Just add home screen icon for mobile version

Updated new update requires password to read but no ability to set one up As a post subscriber this is very frustrating I subscribed in person so I have no accounts set up online I tried to like it but it just falls flat Now I can only see about 2 headlines where before I could see several Your HUGE ads disable scrolling so I have to find a sliver of screen that isnt an ad to scroll up or down And worst of all I can see the same news story 2 tiles apart Why cant I just have one list to scroll through Scrolling down shows me the same stories over and over again I used to love the DP but its basically unusable now     Terrible usability

I use to use this app frequently for local news even though it crashed frequently and had issues updating Now they force you to sign up for a subscription to read any of the articles Really How terrible are the bosses at DP You already throw 2 ads a popup ad and links to external articles which are ads by the way and you STILL want us to pay for content This is absolutely awful and shows how out of touch with todays realities the executives at the Post are     Terrible

Even tho I have a paid subscription to the Post the App seems unable to remember that and then tells me my email is invalid At the same time the Post is sending me email telling me I can get a free subscription to the Washington Post So I signed up and downloaded the Wash Post App that turns out is much better than the Denver Post App which I immediately deleted     Worst News App

Ive been using the DP app for about a year and it is chockfullo problems Content is lacking in general the feed can sometimes feel like 90 sports Navigation is clunky content is always slow to load but amazingly the banner ads always work which speaks volumes about the management team and the developers of this app On average this app closes about once or twice PER session Totally laughable absurdly mismanaged and not worth your time     Worst Denver App
